Mike Webb is great. I've talked with him on his program before. I was hoping he would get on Air America because otherwise he is in competition with Mike Malloy.

Thanks for that link, Mike J.
It's nice to know that there are some politicians out there who can still withstand unscripted events, and hopefully learn from the negative as well as the positive comments. That's what we HIRED them to do - listen.
"Bubble Boy" Bush couldn't handle it - too much reality makes him cry.

Kestrel,
I didn't give you that link so that you could go on a hate-tirade against Pres.Bush, but I should have expected it from someone here. I gave you guys that link to make you feel good about how high up this blog is read (instead of the usual hateful around here).
Unscripted events: Pres.Bush has been doing the townhall meeting events for years and he does just fine at it. He was in my town a year ago and several of my co-workers were able to go see him speak, but I was not able to. They said that he was great.
Pres.Bush showed how he can be open to disagreements when just last week he let Harry have his say at the open meeting. Pres.Bush hushed the crowd who booed Harry's comments. He also answered Harry's criticisms. Perhaps you should watch the video again.
"Bubble Boy"? Is is possible for you and others to state your disagreement with Pres.Bush without resorting to personal attacks? That seems a little childish in my opinion.
Doesn't every President live in a protected space, where ever he goes? On a plane, to a speech, to visit Congress, etc. Doesn't every President have a large group of advisors and Secret Service around him? Doesn't every President fill their day with meetings on policy, economy, and politics? Think about it, please.
When Pres.Clinton travelled to China, there were not one but three planes full of White House staff, executive department employees, and reporters going on that trip. But, nooooo, Pres.Clinton didn't live in a bubble. Of course not.........
Do you really think that any President has time to participate in a blog such as this? The White House, of any administration, has staff just to read the postal mail and the email sent to the President. Any President works a long and hard schedule. Even when on "vacation" it's really a working vacation. Like when Pres.Clinton went to golfer Greg Norman's house and injured his knee at 2am. But Pres.Clinton still had lots of staff with him for his presidential responsibilities where ever he goes. The same with Pres.Bush and any President.
Have a nice day!
