Another county in Pennsylvania is reporting that they have been told by ES&S that they will not get all of the machines they have contracted for. It appears that ES&S has overextended their promises and their Philippines manufacturing plant just can’t crank them out fast enough. Also in Pennsylvania Michael Shamos has found a problem with the Sequoia software but he is passing it off as a ‘minor glitch’ even though it appears to be the same problem that affected machines in Illinois in their primary. In Florida the AG has decided to subpoena the three vendors who have decided not to sell to Leon County. Collusion? …

The Wizard of Oz needs to be replaced by a new movie about American elections that explores the electronic voting machine landscape.

The movie could be called the Wizard of Odds. I keep asking myself what are the odds, now, that we will have undisputed elections in November?

The odds do not look good.

Compare, for instance, the "rock solid" case against a terror cell in the US. The Wizard of Odds in that case had said it was:

" … a case once hailed by President Bush and John Ashcroft, his first attorney general, as a major breakthrough against terrorism plotted on American soil."

So, guess what the latest news on that case is:

"The prosecutor, Richard G. Convertino, and a State Department employee who served as a chief government witness were each indicted on charges of conspiracy and obstruction of justice" (link here).

Justice is something that this republican dictatorship likes to obstruct.

What are the odds that the landscape of incompetence in electronic voting machine land will be cleaned up by November?

Ask Katherine "Alice" Harris, who’s motto is "one machine makes you larger, another one makes you small" after she talks with the Wizard of Odds.

A law professor who once thought the Wizard of Odds was ten feet tall, now having the smoke and mirrors removed, said:

"I can’t recall a case like this in recent memory where you have not only the collapse of the prosecution’s entire case, but now the prosecutor himself indicted," said Brian Levin, a professor at Cal State University at San Bernardino who has written extensively on terrorism prosecutions."

And all the Wizard of Odds could say was "more smoke, more mirrors"!

I have an idea. We need to find some enterprising people with money to create a voting machine with zero errors and total transparency.
