Cheney outs Valerie Plame who is working on Iranian (not Iraq) nuclear proliferation classified and secret information (link here), then claims Iran intelligence shows this and that.
He is a loose cannon shooting anything in site that moves in any way he does not "understand".
Whether or not outing a top secret CIA operation by outing an operative is damaging to the US, according to "big shot" (a.k.a. buckshot) Cheney is who pulled the trigger.
"If I pull the trigger it damages no one" seems to be his demented position.
Perhaps that is why no one was told about The Dick shooting someone in the face for 24 hours?
Gives new meaning to "trigger happiness" ... it is now a way of life where everything is solved or given meaning by pulling a trigger.

Moe: "Hey Curley, you're not lookin' where you're shootin'"
Curley: "I know, I'm shootin' where I'm lookin'!!!"
The more I think about this, this is the stupidest, most "asshole-ish" thing I think I've ever heard of a politician doing. What an asshole! And he's running our country!

Dredd, It appears they were trying to cut the information ties out of Iraq, so there would be no real info from inside that country when they decide to "usurp" them too
Thats why they put Goss in the CIA, to make sure that no one continues to keep the info current, it might make them look bad again and easier for them to push the dis-info
Same shit, different day

Just one more thing. The Funeral company that was in trouble in TX in the Funeralgate scandal also had some problems in FL. For those of you in FL, you'll remember Menorrah Gardens, the case where they were throwing bodies into the woods after people paid thousands for gravesites and embalming.
Coincidently, this is the exact same company that Bush appointed to do the temporary morgues after Katrina. Well, because they're just so competent.
Heck of a job.
You may want to also Google Armstrong Ranch Texas and read about the family that owns the ranch that the shooting occured on. This is the 1% that Bush passes those tax cuts for , plus they have their hands all over GOP politics and , of course, Halliburton.

This could be old news by now but there's reports that he was drinking when Whittington was shot. Well there you go, you got the Cocaine king as Pres and the Duke of Drunk as Vice. Who's the jester in this court when they're all a bunch of jokes?

I found a good site for reading/posting. It's always good to read the posts here, but if you ever get bored...try http://www.rightwingnews.com/
I think they have some real morons manning the keyboards there.
Their posts on the Queen-bitch Anne are really interesting. It's worth a read if you have the time (and the stomach).

I went and checked out your link to the wrong wing site.
It's funny how they can consider someone in the ICU to not be seriously injured.
I was amazed though to find Scholars for 9/11 Truth listed in the advertising panel on the left side of their home page below the Right wing radical judge's book offer.
I never would have expected that!

PBS radio aired a quote from Cheney, bashing Kerry's campaign hunting pictures, in which Cheney said something like, "The 2nd amendment isn't for campaign photo-ops."
We love "irony", here on the Brad Blog.

The Lonely Hunter or from now on the VP hunts alone
In the midst of all the good natured and well deserved heat that our beloved Veep is being subjected to this week, this report actually seems to have some serious things to say about the Cheney hunting mishap on Saturday last:
http://direland.typepad..../02/questions_about.html
This story appears credible and evidences Cheney's apparent culpability for, at the very least, a serious lapse in judgment. It is also unfortunate that the local sheriff was, according to some unconfirmed reports, not allowed to make an assessment of Cheney’s blood/alcohol level probably in the interests of national security. Assuming the validity of this critique, I really wonder if there is even the tiniest aspect of the lives of our benighted rulers that is above reproach. It would seem that these guys not only have a total disregard for the letter of the law, but also possess a pathological inability to allow any glimmer of good sense or human decency to penetrate into even the smallest acts of their daily lives.
I'm sure glad I don't have to live or work near these clowns!
Peace,
Bob Boldt

I am surprised that you have not noticed that, this time, the Secret Service seems to have been inducted into another obstruction of justice case for Dick Cheney. this administrations seems capable of corrupting everything that they come into contact with.

Hey Dick,
i know you were just trying to help out an old friend. Hey listen.. no big deal. Now when you take a shot at something, maybe people will respect you a little more. Has anyone questioned your actions before? Well there's that annoyance in the House John Conyers Jr however on 2/13/2006 NO IMPEACHEMENT. NO JAIL. And who's laughing??? MEEEEE! It's not like anyone ever figured out U was running war games on 9/11 and went public or like U and Dubya have ever been held accountable for ANY of your actions ever least fixing an election. Ya know.. U probably didn't mean to hit ole Whittington. Just meant to get his attention. That VP gig is pretty darn good. NOW LETS ROLL 1!!! Yeh 1 for airforce one.
Repeat after me:
The Bushit executive branch.. don't even try to take control of this country away from us.
Because U can't.
Don't even try.
Don't even try..
Hey do you hear me???
I said, "don't even try".. you're getting me mad and when i get mad..
Hey take a look at that quail over there?
Over there on that green pasture in the distance. See it?
Start walking in that direction over there and i'll point it out to you..
keep walking straight ahead.
CAN U SEE IT?
U should be able to feel it real soon..let me point it out to you with my shotgun.
I promise U won't feel a thing.. in your next world - Later !@#$!#%!&*%#&*!#%&*!#%!
911?
Yes i'd like to report a shooting.
No hurry the target isn't moving.

The sheriff said there was no alcohol involved. Ipso facto, a hunting accident. Case closed.
But the sheriff (who didn't investigate himself, but sent his deputy) never saw Cheney because the Secret Service wouldn't allow it. So how could he claim no alcohol was involved?
Secret Service reports the incident to the sheriff, to get credit for not "covering up." But it keeps Cheney away from the sheriff and his deputy at the same time. Sounds like obstruction of justice on the part of the S.S. to me. Of course, we'd need someone to follow up on that angle.
I'm sure Gonzales will pursue this. I'm also sure that O.J. Simpson is close to finding Nicole's killer.

Bob,
Thanks for that link, really good commentary there. Re whether cheney had the proper stamp for his hunting license, Air America this morning said he has been "cited" for not having it. Not certain if that's accurate, though.

Why did Armstrong initially refuse to identify Hunter #3 (per 2 or 3 articles I read)? After all, 'Pamela Willeford' isn't exactly a household word. Most of us would have said: 'Pamela...who???'
How long has Pamela been hunting? Did the sheriff interview Pamela?

Maybe Pamela oversees a numbered bank account in Switzerland that the VP deposits his oil money into, plus his share of Halliburton's contract gouging in Iraq, which has been mentioned quite a few times here and there but doesn't seem to merit further investigation for some reason or other..!!!
She was probably delivering his January statement personally.

The people in the Bush administration are such AMATEURS.
If someone in the White House wants to shoot a friend who is a lawyer, they should know not to use a shotgun; you're supposed to find an old, untraceable revolver; after the shooting, put the pistol in the victim's hand to fake a suicide; then put the body in a public park, to be found later. It also helps to "find" a suicide note after a day or two.
That's how the PROFESSIONALS do things... and that way, there seems to be much less fuss in the media.
