For the record, as I’m still a bit dubious about the Democrats as a party – as stated previously in this blog – the turn of phrase we used at the end of this ad still makes me a touch uncomfortable. I agree that the Democrats are the answer. Democrats like my Congressman Ralph Hall, oh wait, he became a Republican a month ago, and Senator Zell Miller.

I am talking about the Reagan Democrats – that would have been in the 1980’s and the current conservative "Democrats for Bush." You won’t get McCain.

I just got an 8.5% raise. My wife was promoted and got a bonus. A former out-of-work friend now has contract work through 2008. All of the economic indicators are looking great including jobs. Both mine and Dot’s 401ks, which lost $30,000 the 3rd quarter of Clinton’s last year, have shot up. Stocks are going back up. I am fixing to sell some for a profit.
Every issue the Democrats have tried to bash Bush on has come back to bite them in the butt. What is good for America – bad for Democrats. What is bad for America – good for Democrats. I know, I know, Rush said it, but it is so true. That is a sad state to be in.

Bush won in 2000. Get over it. I encourage everyone to vote this year – the silent majority needs to get out and vote so that it’s a landslide this time.

To say that Bush comes back on every issue the Dems throw at him is a bold face lie. It most certainly isn’t the case. Let’s be honest shall we. It’s called a lack of accountability when all the president says when asked a difficult question is: "I won’t debate myself in public". That’s not beating the issue, that’s avoiding it. You know better but you deliberately deceive the public by saying otherwise. Have you no shame? :confused:
