Who is it that Hillary spies in the audience? Because she does it every time I have seen her walking onto a stage, which is something she does quite a lot in her line of work.

We're not talking most times she's on stage. In pretty much every video I've seen of Hillary walking onstage, she spots this person, strains to see over the lighting, and waves heartily to this long, lost friend, seemingly astonished that he or she would be present. Who is it?
