Brad, wouldn't that suggest that perhaps there IS a Liberal media bias?
I, of course, know there isn't. I'm merely pointing out that this post doesn't actually help your cause.

With all of this constant beating up on Bush, he should be way done in the polls, but he isn't.
> doesn't actually help your cause
Whatever cause it is, it will never materialize.

Perhaps it just indicates that most conservatives can't read.

Hey little Anne, conservatives put their kids in private schools and these kids are winning all of the national contests like spelling, etc.
Conservatives think, liberals emote.
Here is a much better blog -

I was obviously kidding, man.
Nice generalizations about conservatives and liberals, though.
And fyi, my boss' son is home schooled and one of the slowest, most sheltered and ignorant children I have ever met. This is definitely not to say that home schooling has that affect on ALL children, its just to show that its not ALWAYS a winning idea.

Bryan,
These lists are based on inquiries and sales, not on bias. Conservatives buy books on Amazon too. I mean there are a plethora of conservative books out there like Sean Hannity's 'Liberal homo-lovers hate America as much as those filthy Sand Ni--ers' or Karen Hughes' 'Man Hands does America' or Michael Savage and 'Buying in Bulk really boost book sales...callers get one free"

Bryan - Was gonna reply in a somewhat similar manner to Jaime (now that I'm finally back in town, and able to look at getting caught up with all again).
As he correctly pointed out those ranking are based on raw sales numbers at Amazon. There are, and have been, many more Conservative-leaning books to choose from, but it looks like America is once again coming to it's senses.
In the past, the Fake Conservatives would point to Coulter or Hannity or Rush at the top of the Best Seller lists as a way of proving their theory (or justifying their hopes) that America was "seeing the light of Conservatism".
So, simply using their own standards to prove the opposite would seem to be true since the nefariousness of the Bush Leaguers is finally coming to light (the light the rest of us saw long ago, but apparently light doesn't travel too fast around the Conservative Echo Chamber).
As the road rash burns off, I'll be back on the blog job shortly. Our friend Paul, sadly, will still be living in his own world. He'll just have fewer and fewer folks there to keep him company.

People buy what they hear about, or what is sensationalized. And as one of your books is already off the list, longevity isn't much of a goal here. Mostly people buy what is current.
Your argument hasn't persuaded me that our population has woken up. But we can dream. It is sad to think of another 8 months of he said/she said by both sides. I'm already bored asleep.

BTW, Paul, thanks for that link to BlogsforBush.com! Was hard to tell if that was a Blog or a Campaign Commercial/Website for Bush/Cheney.
I'm quite certain you'll get some good, nuanced, balanced info over there. Maybe even more balanced than Rush! Anyone else you enjoy reading/hearing/watching that tells you precisely what you want to believe?
It's a Fools Paradise out there for ya, boy...

Liberal and conservative book sales - Let's see, a million bought that book and a million bought that other book - Hmmmm, almost 300 million people in the US. The vast majority are non-political. There will be more voters than the ones who bought liberal or conservative books. Who cares? You guys are going to get beat in November. Liberalsim never wins at the ballot box. In Texas, I am surrounded by conservatives who go to work and pay their taxes and make the country work. I am not alone.

:D I absolutely enjoy liberals who have their over inflated sense of self importance bleed over into what reality actually is proven reality. As you continue to theorize about the rebirth of the liberal movement....let remind you of the hard facts...
1. The president is a pro-life conservative...2 terms
2. The Senate has more GOP than Dems 10 years running
3. The House Ditto 13 years
4. One more vacancy and Roe V Wade is history.
While liberals are busy trying to convince America that Bush lied in spite of the facts, G. W. Bush's REAL legacy will be the final defeat of Roe V Wade and a stop to The Slaughter of The Innocents.
