Seriously, maybe he does follow Bradblog anyway, twitter or the regular site. I see they are collecting oil-filled seawater in big ships and centrifuging the oil out of the water.

(Well….to be generous….I SUPPOSE other people MAY have independently come to the same idea.)
OK, now DON”T TRY THIS AT HOME, not without SERIOUS environmental testing….but…a couple decades ago they were trying to develop oil-eating bacteria, to try to break down plastic bags quicker etc. Well? What ever happened there? Where are those mighty bugs when we need ’em? IF they’re safe. You could make ’em safer, build in a bunch of lethal genes that kick in after a certain number of generations.
