That is easily one of the most offensive things I have ever seen in my life. Trust a Fundamentalist Christian to do something so UN-Christian.

Yeah - that is ridiculous. Ed Gillespie said he was not aware of the letter but that it could be from the RNC.
It could be from anybody. I'd like to see who is behind the letter for accountability.
Nothing wrong with this statement in this article:
http://www.beliefnet.com...y/152/story_15297_1.html
The RNC also is running radio ads in several states urging people to register to vote. "There is a line drawn in America today," one ad says. "On one side are the radicals trying to uproot our traditional values and our culture. They're fighting to hijack the institution of marriage, plotting to legalize partial birth abortion, and working to take God out of the pledge of allegiance and force the worst of Hollywood on the rest of America." "Are you on their side of the line?" the ad asks before making the plea to "support conservative Republican candidates."
Those are legitimate issues. I think this statement is bogus though:
Jim Jordan, a spokesman for America Coming Together, described the mailing as "standard-issue Republican hatemongering."
The left like ACT loves to use the word "hatemongers."
Being against gay marriage (no such thing by its definition by the way - "union between a man and woman") is not hatemongering.

Uh, Paul, you've learned the old bait and switch well for your immoral teachers on the radio and in the White House.
The discussion was about a flyer which told voters that the Bible will be "BANNED" if they vote the wrong way.
You have said the HEAD OF THE RNC is unable to say that they put this mailing out. He is THE HEAD OF THE RNC! Don't you think he'd be able to find out if it WASN'T his group?
You then mentioned some radio ad or another, that nobody mentioned, or criticized. (If you'd like me to, we can do so another day, once you can keep a single idea in your brain at a time). And then ended by suggesting that was the same as an RNC mailing telling voters the bible would be "BANNED"!
Why bother.

The article that nobody mentioned was about the "Banned Bible" brochure.

Yes, I read it. And so did you.
Hence, where the article says "Gillespie said same-sex marriage is a legitimate issue in the election."...you then dutifully typed in "your" comment above:
"Those are legitimate issues."
Monkey see, Monkey re-type.
