Read the package of those little magnetic ribbons. There is no statement that any of the proceeds go to help our veterans. Every cent, presumably, goes into the pocket of cynical corporations like Walmart, Walgrens, Linen&Things, and so on.
I'll be moving those ribbons every chance I get. Thanks for the great idea.

And do you suspect they are made in the U.S. or China?

Quoth Agent BB2: "stunning intellectualism".
And, ya know, I think I have finally punched through to the other side of lethally appalled because for the first time I actually laughed when watching *, instead of my insides going into fight or flight to switch him off....

I tried to link this image with a tag, it worked in the preview, but it didn't show up when I submitted it, so you'll have to click here to see it.

You should take a look at the Wounded Warriors Project. It raises awareness for severely wounded combat U.S. combat veterans in Iraq and Afghanistan. It really puts a face on the cost of the war. Here's a link:

Brad, I think those Support Our Troops ribbons are made in China. They have that "crispy" poorly sealed plastic wrap on them that I have only encountered on Chinese products.
It sounds like they are out of fashion in CA, but in other places they are plastered on cars, pickups, SUVs, H3s, etc. I want to get one that says "Support Our Troops, Restore Their FULL BENEFITS."
BTW, have you ever considered discussing lead and its "wonderful" uses and why it is so prevalent in China? Relevance to your blog is that I suspect that the people who do not see the threat of real voter fraud as well as the fake voter fraud you revealed, have been sucking on too many lead-coated objects. Remember that it was in part lead poisoning that destroyed the Roman Empire.
Thanks for hanging in there. I'll donate some cash using a pseudonym, er, my real name.

The most appealing magnetic sticker I have run across said, "Support Magnetic Stickers."

I was never one for the ribbon thing of any sort, cars, lapels, etc. But if I had one on my suv and caught you messing with it, you'd be pulling it out of your a**.
