I listened to Mike Rogers on NPR this morning. He is very smart, he is very articulate, he makes very powerful points without bullying (unlike Hannity or O'Reilly), and I, for one, admire what he is doing.

What he does is to expose hypocrisy. His detractors feel that he is unfairly exposing people's private lives and dragging them through the mud. But I strongly disagree with that assessment. If that assessment had any validity, then he would be exposing the skeletons in the closet of people who are NOT hypocrites.

Here's the thing he said about Craig this morning that I applaud him for bringing out. Craig works for the public as a U.S. senator and actively pursues legislation to criminalize homosexual behavior, the same behavior Craig himself engages in. Because of the active efforts of Craig and other legislators who share this zeal for criminalizing homosexual behavior, if a U.S. military officer were discovered to be actively engaging in homosexual acts, that officer would be court-martialed, given a dishonorable discharge, stripped of his rank, and dismissed with the loss of all benefits, including retirement.

All that will become of Craig is to lose his Senate seat. He keeps his $133,000 or so a year pension for life.

I learned this in this morning's interview. Mike Rogers rocks for exposing this kind of mean and damaging hypocrisy!

I'm reminded of a boston legal episode where one of the judges is sueing a christian organization that was supposed to help him cure his SSAD. Same Sex Attraction Disorder.

Craig is sick, he has SSAD he needs JESUS in order to cure himself. Heck that crystal meth head that had man on man relations Ted Haggert of Colorado Springs got cured, why not Craig? We all know that being Gay goes against god and the american way. This is something that Craig can work past. Once he gets his new cure, kinda a born again straight person he should pass some anti gay laws in his state. Maybe make it illegal to entrap straight men who got tempted by the devil in a bathroom.

The neverending saga of Republican sexual scandals just continues giving. The Republican St. Petersburg city councilman who is accused by his adult daughter of having had an ongoing sexual reltionship with her while she was underage - and - of sexually abusing two or three other sisters in the home, was just found dead in his hime. He had just resigned. "Oh the wicked webs we weave, when we practice to deceive.

This follows on the heels of the suicide/murders of three young men in an Orlando home, one an ex-marine and one a Republican operative and disciple of Karl Rove. There is a connection in that case to a gay prostitution ring in another state. Man, these guys are totally out of control. Sickness, they name is Republican. PEACE
