When directly confronted with %100 irrefutable facts like:
-George W. Bush has called the Iraq operation an "occupation"
-Dick Cheney voted against some of the same weapons systems as John Kerry.
-The ways of the U.S. Senate.
Zell Miller was beligerrant and unable to debate the issues. He went nuts on CNN, He went nuts on MSNBC.
The Republicans dual message is not quite as subtle as Hitlers, but compassion mixed with "You hate Jesus and America and want us all to die if you don't vote for Bush." can really confuse the shit out of people.

jaime,
i think "went nuts" puts it mildly. He actually threatened Matthews several times. It was so bad it freaked out JC Watts*. Matthews tried to play it off by saying that Miller had not understood him. He was making the point that people who had voted against appropriations bills because they had too much money in them for education or something were falsely accused of trying to destroy education and then applied the same logic to the appropriations bill. From my view Miller knew exactly what he was doing. He also tried to shame Matthews for his confrontation with Ms. "Next Tuesday"** Coulter.
*JC Watts is the former African American Republican congressman whose father said that "a black man voting for a republican is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders".
**Don't ask. It is possibly one ofthe most rude references i know of.

Zell has already explained those two comments above. He was good last night and maybe a little over the top, but boy, was it great to hear it from a Democrat. I like Coulters but she can be rough. She is not as good of a writer as Sean Hannity. I have not had cable since college and I recently got Direct TV. I really like Hannity and Colmes and the Fox News network.
We know who JC Watts is. 7% of African-Americans vote Republican. It is a shame that the number is not higher.
I saw the Oprah show when a black woman said to another black woman "How can you be black and Republican?" The other lady said "Who are you to tell me what I can or cannot be?" Rough show!
There you leftists go again comparing us to Hitler.

Paul,
Wasn't Cheney's speech great?? Especailly when the crowds started chanting flip flop. I enjoyed his reference to Kerrys "sensitive war on terror and how impressed al-queda would be with our sensitive side. Kerry has absolutely nothing, Bush will be reelected and the Blog will live on. Lay back and enjoy it folks!!

Ron Silver said this morning on WBAP that the Demo Party of today is the Michael Moore Party, the Howard Dean Party, and that really scares him.
Only 10% Demos came out during the primaries so I think you are correct - Bush will win.
The libs complained about Gore getting the popular vote, so therefore, somehow he should have won. Well, there is a chance that Bush could get the popular vote but lose the Electoral votes. If that happens, you won't hear the lib hypocrites talk about the popular vote. And, if the Supreme Court gets involved again and decides the law this time is on Kerry's side, you won't hear the lib hypocrites complaining that Kerry stole the election.
Like Silver said again this morning, the Dems are blinded by hate.

"The libs are blinded by hate"??
Interesting idea, as your party has built their campaign on dividing the country, mischaracterizing their opponents, and shamefully --- even to the level of the "President" and "Vice-President" --- lying about the words, deeds and votes of their opponents.
Hateful acts, all. And the crowds at the convention and the Rightwingers here, all applaud such hate-filled rhetoric, lies and distortions.
Not hateful enough for ya?
Ed just suggested, using the disgusting old phrase (was it Rush who said it first?) about rape, that women should just "Lay back and enjoy it".
Ed has not applied that to America and/or the Democrats in regards to what he sees his party doing to America and/or the country.
If you have any questions about where these guys stand, Ed has just made it quite clear.
Bush/Cheney '04: "Lay back and enjoy it folks!!"

Brad I never once used the word rape. I can't help if you wish to imply it but it came from you, not me.
Dems blinded by hate were not Pauls words. Is that the Ron Silver the hollywood liberal?? If so agreeing with him is almost as scary as Brad embracing Pat Buchanan.

> about rape, that women should just "Lay back and enjoy it"
That was said several years ago by Clayton Williams.
