   We can attest to the validity of Dan Rather saying that the US press (MSM) is gutless. They have not helped Sibel (the Edmonds coverup).

   Sibel is one of the hundreds of professionals that believe the 9/11 Commission was an incompetent cover-up … the mother of all coverups.

   A former head of the FBI is in the list alongwith her, and alongwith many CIA officials too.

   Yep, when we add the professors, phd’s, add military leaders, intelligence officials, other government officials, add eyewithness survivor employees, family members, and add the fact that everyone knows this administration is founded on lies and coverup … just what is it that is keeping us from having journalistic guts and the guts of justice?

   Land of the free and home of the brave is something we have to prove by our actions against corrupt government.

   Note that it is the corrupt government that has been quoting Al Queda lately as evidence. In the Senate debates and in the Gitmo Star Chamber where torture is the investigative technique of choice, Bush supporters have been quoting Al Queda as if it was the source of the gospel truth.

   Yes, these corrupt congressmen and Tony Snow jobbers think we should believe what Al Queda says instead of believing what these hundreds of patriotic Americans, listed above, are saying.

   Yesterday, Sean Hannity had a caller, who said he was a black conservative who was a fan of Trent Lott and Newt Gingrich. Anyone who doesn’t know that the Sean Hannity show is an “infomercial” with fake callers, just go and try and find a black person who likes REPUBLICANS IN GENERAL…let alone, specifically is a fan of Trent Lott and Newt Gingrich. Trent Lott resigned from his position after he was at segregationist Strom Thurmonds birthday party, lauding him. Remember? So I’m sure this black conservative Sean Hannity caller is for segregation!!!!!!!!!!

   You have to be a complete braindead idiot to believe or listen to the Sean Hannity show. Can we find this black conservative Trent Lott and Newt Gingrich fan and interview him here??? Of course not!!! He doesn’t exist!!! But Hannity’s idiot listeners think there exists black conservative Republicans who are for segregation!!! I think this time, Hannity “blew it”, because this was beyond obvious, that this caller was a fake!!!!!!!!!!

   While in THEORY you would THINK that African-Americans wouldn’t support Republicans or Lott/Gingrich, you would be wrong. There are plenty of people of all races, classes, and genders who have been so well programmed by the dominant cultural “stories” (GOP=Daddy=Safe=Good while DEM=MOmmy=Stupid&Weak=Bad) that they will vote against their own self-interest. Then, there are those “Oreos” like Blackwell, Powell, Rice, Thomas, et al. who will “support” the Rethuglicans to further their own goals.

   I think the saddest thing about the toon is that ALL these horrors (and more to come) eclipse the issue of THIS BLOG, which is fair and free elections.

   The Rethuglicans can have everything in the world go wrong, and then bomb Iran against the will of everybody and destroy half the world and STILL get elected “by a landslide, despite polls that showed an overwhelming defeat in the offing” if we don’t fix the crooked voting system.

   That is the true sadness of this situation.

    Yes, the 48-50 Senate Vote on Iraq yesterday shows that the public will does not influence the thinking of the senate on the matter of the Iraq war. The vote had two democrats crossing over to vote against ending the war.

    The two democrats voting for the war were:

    Nelson (D-NE)
    Pryor (D-AR)

    All the other dems voted to end the war, except Johnson, who is still in the hospital.

    And of course war neoCon Lieberman (I Con) voted to continue the neoCon war.

    One republican, Smith (R-OR) voted to end the war along with 47 dems.

    We must target the 21 republicans running for re-election to the Senate in ’08. If we pick up 10 on the dem side and 11 on the indy or green side that would be the end of the republican dictatorship’s control of the war.

    Even 40% of republicans do not think they will retain the office of the president.

    I see light at the end of a corruption tunnel … but it is still two years away before it really starts to clear up.
