Great,.. Wonderful,.. Perfect,.. Jolly,.. Excellent,..
Let the Rethugs be the first start the EVM inquisition.
The first spade of dirt,.. break ground,.. set a president,.. impound them EVM's and bust them apart with a sledgehammer,.. look inside - find what makes them black-boxes tick. Bad code,.. malicious programming,.. hunt down the fraudulent activities - former Senator Santorum. Something about the internal workings of those black-box voting machines smells like a decomposing carcass or rotting flesh. These electronic vote counting computers reek to high heavens. It is good that a Republican Party candidate subject the internal workings to critical analysis. If a Democratic Party candidate set the president to do this they would be immediately branded a sore looser. Better that a Republican risk being first and risk being tagged with the label. In the future if a Demo requests impoundment of the EVM's - the sore looser snide remark will be rendered moot.
Go get them Ricky - show us how the tabulation results of black-box voting machines has a propensity to be inaccurate at best or fraudulent at worst. Please reconfirm what our contention has been all a long. Break the ice,.. clear the channels of communication for the future,.. down the road we will likely be asking for the identical EVM inquest and internal workings review.
Ricky Santorum,.. the political has been sacrificial lamb for EVM impoundment after a close election - God Bless ya Rick. Have you slapped a for sale sign on your vacant Pennsylvania house yet ? How is the mansion in Virginia. Still using Pennsylvania State funds to home school your children - who reside in Virginia ? Bless you,.. you God fearing,.. honest,.. straight shooter.
A paragon of human perfection.
You corruptable common crook.
You K Street prostitute.

Yes, nothing like a close look at evoting machine technology to bring out the uncertain side of reality.
OT: speaking of uncertainty, the warrantless wiretapping legislation is going to follow in the footsteps of Bolton it seems. Yes H.R. 5825 (House) and S. 3931 (Senate) are in trouble. The dems don't want warrantless wiretaps of Americans and they don't want Bolton.
And none of us want warrantless evoting machines that steal votes without a warrant.
The people have spoken, the polls on the national scale, and the exit polls in general terms were more in sync than 04 and 00 ... but why not do better?
Why not fix the evoting system so we no longer have a faith-based system? What is wrong with a machine system based on science which can develop good security?

It should be noted that the Santorum request was later withdrawn. We understand that the National GOP told them to pull the letter.

mAnn Coulter weights in,..
singing the praises of Diebold (E S & S and Sequoia),..
The Democrats won,.. they did not complain about the Diebold machines,.. all the bugs have been worked out of the new electronic voting equipment. Now we can run error free,.. complaint free,.. fraud free e-voting elections. YEAH !

Human Events ^ | 11/8/06 | Ann Coulter
History was made this week! For the first time in four election cycles, Democrats are not attacking the Diebold Corp. the day after the election, accusing it of rigging its voting machines. I guess Diebold has finally been vindicated. So the left won the House and also Nicaragua. They've had a good week. At least they don't have their finger on the atom bomb yet. Democrats support surrender in Iraq, higher taxes and the impeachment of President Bush. They just won an election by pretending to be against all three. Jon Tester, Bob Casey Jr., Heath Shuler, possibly Jim Webb...

Santorum,.. Pennsylvania GOP apparently recinded the request that voting machines be impounded.
=======Pennsylvania GOP officials claimed there were reports that some machines were changing Republican votes to Democratic votes. They asked the state to investigate and said they were not ruling out a legal challenge.========

Brad, Santorum impounded the machines because of flipping Democrat to Republican, not Republican to Democrat... which doesn't change the conclusions you draw from the episode, but... he is trying to prove dem fraud, more than machine fraud.

In Massachusetts Dull markers in one polling place.
Not enough ballots in Framingham and Dourchester which are majority of black people. Thankfully Dmocrat Deval Patrick won the governor anyway

Robin - Fine by me. Let him try to prove it. If he can show it, I'll be happy to bust any Dems who've committed fraud. That said, I don't think that's what he'll end up finding. He may, however, find that these machines are absolute garbage. Which works just fine for me.
