Chaos is now raining down on the voters of Ohio. Anyone surprised?
With yet another court decision today restoring disenfranchising Photo ID requirements in the Buckeye State (after they had previously been disallowed via an earlier court injunction days ago), we’re now barrelling towards yet another clusterfuck in Ohio, wherein the only winners will be those who don’t want people to vote or to have their votes counted accurately or at all (namely Republicans.)

Through a complex series of legal maneuvers, and now a shocking new decision from the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the GOP has thrown Ohio’s entire process of voting and vote counting into serious disarray. The mess is perfectly designed to suppress voter turnout, make election monitoring and a recount impossible, and allow the Republican Party to emerge with a victory despite overwhelming evidence the electorate wants exactly the opposite.
Let me guess…it disenfranchized mostly non-Republican voters. I’m the amazing Kreskin!!!
It’s funny.. if I take a stick and beat you on the head and take your bread because I’m starving, I go to prison for assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault, theft, and possibly other charges.. all because I’m poor and can’t get a decent lawyer to represent me and explain that I was starving (nor does the “legal system” care why you broke the law if you’re poor..).
Yet, if I’m rich, I can call up my golfing buddy Judge and have him take up a case that no one is asking him to take up, so he can piss on the Constitution all for the purposes of allowing me, the rich republican shitbag, to win an election (by making sure the masses can’t get their vote counted). I can break the law, rig the outcome of an election, and end up in public office on a cake employment deal on the backs of those I didn’t let vote.
Democrazy is what we have.. Democracy is dead, and the right-wing is holding the bloody club with their crazed mentality driving the way. These people are truely the worst of what humanity has to offer.

So what the people going to do after the clusterfuck? Will they finally protest? Peacefully, ineffectively? Riot? End up in the camps? What are they gonna do? I would like some ideas. SO, where is Lou Dobbs and CNN on this one and the other breaking vote-flipping and suppression stories? I don’t get cable. Is he covering this? Is anybody in the MSM covering this?
Didn’t know they “almost” didn’t require ID here in Ohio. Do know the Reps here got notified weeks ago to bring ID to vote… We Dems sure didn’t get notified. Worst yet is the Blackwell blitz for us to absentee ballot vote. He sent ballots out late. They require 87 cents postage, so 30% are being sent back to voters. Is anyone checking into the party choice of the 30% ? Not that I know of. Wanna bet Reps were told about the postage amount in advance. And for the record, where the hell are some notices from the DEM party giving us a heads-up on bringing ID and the postage amount ? In May around 100 ab. ballots got left at the P.O., but delivered the day after the election ! I e-mailed our papers to write about the ID and postage issues many weeks ago. Same with Dobbs who what passionately asking people to go absentee. Sure saw this one coming. So again: why didn’t the Dem party do their part to forwarn their voters ?
