Anymore, a flag is raised for me, against anyone who bashes Alex Jones, as "crazy". I don't think he's crazy. They definitely WANT US to think he's crazy, that's for sure!

Three young Saudi Princes and a Pakistani air-force general knew of 9/11 before the event transpired,.. they all at very young ages are now dead of extremely mysterious causes after the USA government was told of their foreknowledge. How ironic and convenient that they could never be adequately questioned or interrogated.

The Young Republicans at the University of Michigan have this wonderful event to spark the student's interests in the political process. An on campus event called "Fun With Guns" takes cardboard cutouts of Democrats such as Hillary Clinton and John Kerry and offers students a chance to shoot the Demo candidate with a gun (paintball). Another game of a highly racist nature is "Catch The Immigrant". Do these Nazis ever quit this divisive and dangerous conduct they find so entertaining ?

I've blogged about this in the past, but it seems to be the forgotten component of the upcoming mid-terms. I am referring to the election day shenanigans that the GOP has perfected into an art form.
How short is our memory? How can we not remember the lessons of Florida in '00 and Ohio in '04?
I recommend, for those who have never checked it out, Mark Crispin Miller's well-sourced book, "Fooled Again: How the Right Stole the 2004 Election And Why They'll Steal the Next One Too."
He's also got a blog at http://www.markcrispinmiller.blogspot.com/
I think if we ignore the dangers of hackable voting machines with no paper trail, along with the tactics of disenfranchising entire communities of voters, as the GOP attempts to do, than we have only ourselves to blame when we learn the morning after that the fix was in.

Re: Alexander Cockburn and his piece in The Nation: It's available there by subscription only or here for free. Kurt Nimmo responds here. Extended excerpts from both pieces follow...
Excerpts from Alexander Cockburn: The 9/11 Conspiracy Nuts:
You trip over one fundamental idiocy of the 9/11 conspiracy nuts in the first paragraph of the book by one of their high priests, David Ray Griffin, The New Pearl Harbor. "In many respects," Griffin writes, "the strongest evidence provided by critics of the official account involves the events of 9/11 itself.... In light of standard procedures for dealing with hijacked airplanes...not one of these planes should have reached its target, let alone all three of them."
The operative word here is "should." One central characteristic of the nuts is that they have a devout, albeit preposterous, belief in American efficiency, and hence many of them start with the racist premise that "Arabs in caves" weren't capable of the mission. They believe that military systems work the way Pentagon press flacks and aerospace salesmen say they should work. They believe that at 8:14 am, when AA Flight 11 switched off its radio and transponder, an FAA flight controller should have called the National Military Command center and NORAD. They believe, citing reverently (this from high priest Griffin) "the US Air Force's own website," that an F-15 could have intercepted AA Flight 11 "by 8:24, and certainly no later than 8:30."
...
The demolition scenario is classic who-moved-the-stonery. The towers didn't fall because they were badly built as a consequence of corruption, incompetence, regulatory evasions by the Port Authority and because they were struck by huge planes loaded with jet fuel. No, they collapsed because Dick Cheney's agents methodically planted demolition charges in the preceding days. It was a conspiracy of thousands, all of whom--party to mass murder--have held their tongues ever since.Of course, the buildings didn't suddenly pancake. People inside who survived the collapse didn't hear a series of explosions. As discussed in Wayne Barrett and Dan Collins's marvelous Grand Illusion, about Rudy Giuliani and 9/11, helicopter pilots radioed warnings nine minutes before the final collapse of the South Tower that it might well go down, and similar warnings, repeatedly, as much as twenty-five minutes before the North Tower's fall.
Excerpts from Kurt Nimmo: Gatekeeper Cockburn Attacks 9/11 “Conspiracy Nuts”:
In other words, the flight controller, hired for his or her ineptitude, as the government only interviews and hires incompetents, was busy playing tiddlywinks or sleeping in a bathroom stall when the hijacking occurred.
According to FAA regulations, when planes are hijacked the FAA hijack coordinator is contacted and a request is made to provide a military escort. Of course, since the flight controller was probably asleep at the wheel and government systems are terminally broken due to chronic imbecility, Cockburn would have us believe any number of flight controllers either didn’t notice or didn’t find it unusual when transponder and radio contact was lost with Flight 11. But not only was contact lost with the flight, it also deviated from its flight path. In addition, two airline attendants had separately called American Airlines reporting a hijacking.
No doubt the flight controllers on nine eleven were so inept a Federal Aviation Administration manager, Kevin Delaney, was obliged to destroy a tape containing their accounts. “Evidence in [a] report and from the air traffic controllers union suggests that the decisions to make the recording and later to destroy it were meant to conform to traditional protocols following a plane crash,” the Washington Post reported on May 7, 2004. “The actions also were aimed at protecting controllers who were under excessive stress and emotion, according to union officials representing the controllers.” In other words, destroying evidence is standard government procedure, especially for screw-up flight control employees. I bet this embarrassing oafishness is a direct result of Reagan firing all the flight controllers in order to break their union back in the 80s.
...
Cockburn is indeed a witty and talented scribe. However, when he attempts to explain away the demolition of the towers, he reveals himself as a flat-worlder, ignorant of the very laws of physics.
...
According to Cockburn, people inside the buildings did not hear explosions. In fact, Edmund McNally phoned his wife Liz twice following the impact of the planes and told her “I can hear explosions below me,” according to a report published in the New York Times. Tom Elliott, survivor of WTC 2, told the Christian Science Monitor “those around him thought an explosion had come from below,” an “incredible noise—he calls it an ‘exploding sound’—shook the building, and a tornado of hot air and smoke and ceiling tiles and bits of drywall came flying up the stairwell.” Lou Cacchioli, Christopher Fenyo, William Reynolds, and other firefighters, including Lieutenant Fireman and former Auxiliary Police Officer, Paul Isaac Jr., reported explosions. If Cockburn is still incredulous, he needs to take a listen to radio transmissions of North Brunswick Volunteer Fire/Ladder Company #3, chockfull of firefighters reporting secondary explosions. It’s a tough job being a gatekeeper with so much damning evidence floating around.
Back in the day, I wrote on an irregular basis for Cockburn’s Counterpunch. However, I decided to stop doing this after Cockburn more or less called me a conspiracy nut. On October 3, 2002, Counterpunch posted my Amiri Baraka’s Somebody Blew Up America: Poetry as Treason? “As for Baraka’s assertion that both the US and Israeli government had prior knowledge of the September 11 attacks, there is clear, ample, and documented evidence they most certainly did,” I wrote, and then listed the Odigo warning, the 4,744 put options on United Airlines stock, the warnings of imminent attack issued by German, Jordanian, and Russian intelligence. For posting this article, subsequently published in The Politics of Anti-Semitism anthology, Cockburn apparently received a bit of grief from his gatekeeper pals.
...
Indeed, the careerist gatekeepers deny the physical nature of the universe itself—kerosene cannot melt steel, buildings do not collapse at free fall, as Isaac Newton would tell us, if he was around to witness the destruction of the WTC.Of course, all of this runs smack into the immovable brick wall of the “progressive” ideology with its blue sky insistence nine eleven was in fact a noble blow struck by oppressed Arabs conniving in Afghan caves, never mind their leader was a former CIA asset hailing from a rich Saudi family with ties to the monarchy and the Bush crime family, as amply documented.
Read them both and decide for yourself:

The Iraq Study Group,.. formed in the spring of 2006 to the endless quagmire of Iraq,.. and recommend a graceful exit/redeployment strategy for the US Military.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_Study_Group
----------------------
A report from the Iraq Study Group is expected in the spring of 2007,.. waiting until after the 2006 midterm election so as not to politicize the recommendations of this group.
Recently a detailed article by Richard Dreyfuss,.. in the Washington Monthly,.. titled "A Higher Power" has been released. It highlights the progress of the Iraq Study Group to date. The indication is that Poppy Bu$$h is concerned the GWB will damage the bu$$h family legacy with this endless war strategy. Thus James Baker has been brought in to ultimately put an exit strategy in place by ultimately over ruling the neocon plan to remain in Iraq with the thought of using the country as a launching pad for a wider war engulfing the Middle East region.
This article makes for an interesting and informative read,..

I respect your desire to research the 9/11/01 attacks and attempt to answer all questions. However, I refuse to reread the same stuff. When you have something new, I will read it. If something is presented as evidence, it should have been obtained by employing the scientific method. Be objective and do not select only the data that fits your argument.

"Does the Consolidation of the Ownership of Media effect the quality of the local news broadcast with a negative result."
The study was coming out in the affirmative,.. consolidation of the media does negatively impact the quality of the local news broad-casted. This was not the answer that they (FCC) and their masters (the media industry) wanted to hear. They were looking for a pro-media consolidation,.. pro-fascist,.. pro-corporatist result to this study.
The FCC was told to discontinue the study,.. destroy all drafts,.. not to discuss the subject matter any further,.. drop the issue pronto.

Here is an eye opening article about women's rights that have been lost in Iraq and Afghanistan after the US occupation,.. because we fostered the rise of religious fundamentalism.
Excerpts from the article,...
Since March 2003, Iraqi women have been brutally attacked, kidnapped and intimidated from participating in Iraqi society. The generation-old equality and liberty laws have been, replaced by Middle Ages laws that strip women of their rights and put them in the same oppressive life as women in Afghanistan, the nation which the U.S. invaded to “liberate” its oppressed women. The 1970 Iraqi constitution is not only the most progressive constitution in the Muslim World, but also the most equal. Iraqis were mentioned only as “citizens”, and Iraqi women’s rights were specifically protected......
.....The U.S. is not the “guardian” of human rights, as many Americans still living with this fallacy; the U.S. has become the opposite, a creator of misery and injustice. The American people should be made a ware of the path their nation is taking, and the crimes it is committing in their name against innocent people around the world.

What does everyone think of $1.99 gas prices 30 days before the election? Then $4/$5 after the election? Lock in your heating oil rate at your local oil company when it hits $1.99, and fuck them all winter.
The low gas prices 30 days before an election (the sheeple only care about NOW...not the last 5 year's prices)...it can be to YOUR advantage if you lock in the price now, for the whole winter. I think Limboob tipped the GOP's plans, he was saying "these low oil prices are driving libs crazy...it's going to go to $1.99..."
Well, I believe it is, it's their only card they can play, and "big oil" Bush/Cheney can manipulate this GOP strategy. The BP debacle was supposed to skyrocket prices, as well as the yearly rise in September in time for the heating season.

I could never put it in words exactly how I know someone's a troll. I got this from a commenter at Raw Story who got it from whatreallyhappened:
"Let us say that there are two restaurants on your town, one serving pizza and the other serving tacos. The people who like tacos go to the taco place, the people who do NOT like tacos go to the pizza place.
But do you ever see a pizza lover hang out in the taco place insulting the taco eaters? If you saw such a person, would you not wonder if they were deranged and needed some time in a room with rubber wallpaper?
Because that's what people like Frank M are doing. Clearly, he does not agree with the people who like tacos. So he spends his time hanging out where tacos are sold, and note that he doesn't actually talk about the tacos and what is in them and why it might be bad for you, but merely hurls personal attacks on anyone who could even look at a taco?
Does this sound like the behavior of a reasonable human being?
Or does it make more sense to suggest that Frank M's ad hominem attack on taco eaters is more understandable if in fact he works for the pizza place?
"""""""""
THAT is how I know when someone's a troll, it had to be put into a "parable" (lol)
Sometimes, you just can't put something into words, and this is the best way of doing it. It is totally illogical for someone who disagrees with Brad Blog to "hand out" at Brad Blog (or Raw Story, or 9/11 inside job disputers, etc....).
BUT IT DOES MAKE SENSE IF THEY'RE A TROLL OR SHILL OR PAID SHILL! that is the ONLY way it makes sense

Great stuff #58; I'm well-aware of the top censored stories by the corporate MSM. We all do not realize how huge the role of the CMSM is in ALL of what's going on.
People repeat what's on the CMSM, they just don't see what's NOT on it. I went golfing with 3 guys over the weekend, they had no idea about e-vote machine fraud or the 9/11 truth movement. It's not their fault, they know everything that's on the CMSM. The CMSM knows this.
Has everyone been watching LINK-TV and FSTV? Did you chuck cable and get DISH TV? It's worth it, just for channels 9410 & 9415. And get others to get it.
Here's another thing: Lots of people already HAVE DISH TV, and they aren't aware of 9410 & 9415, just tell them about those 2 channels. And if they already HAVE DirecTV, they aren't aware that channel 375 is LINK-TV.
