"100% of the voters chose to vote on paper. Not one single vote was cast on the machines."
Music to my ears!

Everybody probably does prefer paper. It can't be hacked, unless of course they end up in the trash!
Sorry for off topic - but IF our private info was SOLD to the govt, shouldn't we receive a cut?? And let's talk numbers. Did they sell a few or hundreds of thousands or millions. Are we to believe that our govt believes there are millions of terrorists here?? That doesn't pass the giggle test!!

DemocracyNow! interviewed Greg Palast about his bbok on this very subject today.
Plus, if you go to GregPalast.com you'll find results of his investigation into this subject.
Basically, Coicepoint, the company that Katherine Harris used to steal the 2000 presidential election, is gathering all our records, such as phone records, medical records, purchases, voting records, etc. including our DNA, for godsakes, & selling it to the government, like the CIA I guess & making billions. Our government can't make files on anyone unless they are suspectedf of a crime. So they buy the info from Choicepoint. Greg claims they are forming a sort of American KGB, like a privatization of spying. The phone record revelation is just the tip of the iceberg.
Yee gods.
Also, in the DemocracyNow interview, Greg interviewed Chavez, & says the Venezuela President (the one the dumb tv religion guy said we should kill) has offered us oil at $50 barrel, instead of the $70 a barrel OPEC wants. Venezuela evidently has more oil that Saudi Arabia but Bush& family don't want us to know that because they are buds with OPEC & have worked hard to get the price of oil up & keep it up since Bush & hisf criminal buddies got into office.
That was the original plan for Iraq's oil--not to use it but to keep it laying there so it won't go on the market & drive OPEC's price down. Bush & his cronies make a ton of $ from high prices with OPEC.
First Bush tried to keep Chavez out of office by ruining the electoral process in Venezuela I believe, & now he's probably going to try & kill him because it will ruin his plan.
