Looks like its time to go war in North Carolina. How dare the judge reject the plaintiffs appeal!!!
The Diebold machines are clearly entirely insecure, and he didn't even check over Keith Long's history!!!!
KEITH LONG WORKS FOR DIEBOLD!!!!
Looks like the litigation will continue, these fools have no right to break the law NC just enforced and pay off people to hush about it.

Blackwell needs to be subpoenaed immediately
News report shows all electronic records, cards were seized and covered up by Greene County & several counties in Ohio.
All those memory cards have been suspect of having the seals broken, yet the independent observors were not allowed to see ANY of the records for what Blackwell stated as "security concerns"
You have here massive evidence now with the memory-card hack being proven, that should require testimony from multiple SoS officials, not just Kenneth Blackwell.
Obviously these "cards" and components do not dissapear.....I reccomend law enforcement & experts seize the records and like in New Mexico they initiate subpoenas. Blackwell will never give up his prizes willingly, you'll have to fight in court over it.
However it is greatly suspected these cards were frauded and that this can be proven in court against Diebold's own Ohio case.
Thomas Noe, now under conviction defended Blackwell in court for his actions but he is no longer Blackwell's attorney.....and I suspect those financial documents or whatever the CompuWare dispute is, plays a large part in this.

Having one's actions defended in court by Thomas Noe is like being called a loving parent by the Menendez brothers.

Saddam and terrorists are on the same side and use the same false arguments as liberals. Using the same false assertions as a murderous dictator who killed 100's of thousands of people would bother most people, but not liberals.
Its scary how aligned with evil liberals are.
Terrorists want us out of iraq just like liberals.
Terrorists want more rights in our court system and liberals are fighting to give it to them.
Terrorists want to be able to call who ever they want in the us to plan attacks, liberals are making sure they have that opportunity.
Terrorists hate Bush, liberals hate Bush.
Terroristswant to be released from captivity to continue their killing, liberals are working hard towards that goal.
Terrorists want the recent election not to matter, liberals completely IGNORED IT and say it didnt matter.
I can go on and on.
Motivation aside, your goals are aligned in lock step with terrorists. That would be enough to give any rational person pause, but then you're not rational.

Staying on subject is a sign of awareness and being conscious. And being extremely off topic is a sign of a lack of consciousness.
Then reading your diatribe confirms it ... you have lost touch with reality. Too much talking point mantra chants and not enough goodness.

Dredd,
Media control viewpoints not only by the opinion on issues, but the issues they choose to report on. This sites ignoring the Historic Iraqi election is a perfect example of it.
Staying on topic would serve that purpose. Forcing me to do so woudl be a form of censorship for the reason stated.

Ricky,
I'm more concerned with the damage being done to civilized society by people like you and Bush than all the terrorists in the world and so were the writers of our Constitution.
You're so afraid you are willing to give up the things that are really important - the things that hold our fragile civilization together.
"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance" and war against the fear tactics and forces of oppression you and Bush represent.
Actually, you have one thing right we're fighting against the forces of oppression and so are some of the people you call terrorists. If you want to call that an alignment go ahead.
Happy Holidays Ricky and to all the liberals here Merry Christmas.

The decision was by a trial judge. I was looking thru the court website. They do not seem to publish trial court opinions. I can't find the opinion, and I guess we will have to wait for EFF to post it on their website. They have posted the PDF verion of the complaint (link here).
The next level is the Appellate Division. This is similar to Southern California where the Superior Court has an Appellate Division.
Typically three judges will hear the appeal. Then it can go to the State Supreme Court. That is where a case of this type should go anyway, because it is a new statute that has not been tested.

There is an open thread ("Dredd's Thread") where any topic whatsoever can be brought up.
Why not post off topic issues there where it is appropriate to do so?
Do you have to be anti-social at every moment of your day? Try to learn to get along with others and stop throwing sand in everyone's eyes.

WOW!
Apparently the 3000 dead Americans stood in the way of your fight.

For Ricky: I'm a historian and the author of five published books, so I'm qualified to comment on your use of the word "historic" to describe the recent Iraq election.
An event doesn't become historic until history has a chance to render its judgment about it. The election might possibly turn out to be historic, but by the evidence we have to go on, it probably won't. Why? Because the first Iraq election made no difference whatsoever; the killing and chaos have actually increased since then. Is there any rational basis for assuming it will be different this time? No.
During the Vietnam conflict several elections were held. People voted, sure...but the war raged on with no change in our policy of occupation and no change in the daily lives of Vietnamese citizens.
What you're doing, Ricky, is believing what George W. Bush wants you to believe. If I may speak for others on Bradblog, we know better. We think for ourselves. Our personal feelings about Bush don't matter, but our ability to separate his bullshit from reality does.

:( How am I supposed to believe that my vote will count in NC? I can't, not if Diebold is involved.
Disenfranchised again. What a bummer.

Hey Ricky,
Nice try fool, but now the neocon zionists got what they wanted.
You got it ass-backwards. The Shiite majority now controls Iraq & is allied with the Kurds and Israel. Sunni Arabs have no say at all, there was massive fraud at the polls, and the entire thing was a massive failure.
Stick to what you're good at, lying like the scumbucket everyone knows you are.
You aren't any damn conservative. You're a complete FAKE neoliberal deceived by other neoliberals who lied to everyone about if they were conservative....
