Brad:
Can't wait to hear the show tomorrow! Hopefully, there won't be any technical problems --- knock on wood.
I want to bring this up again, because I think the implications are HUGE. Perhaps you can put the word out to Eric Brewer or Greg Palast so that maybe they can ask the questions and find out this extremely important information!
---------------------------
In light of important new developments in this story from Pakistani Intelligence that shows that the suspects in the London bombings were directly involved with the Khan cell in Pakistan, we should be pressing the press to ask some specific questions about the "ORANGE ALERT SCANDAL" that took place in July 2004.
To refresh everyones memory, the Bush government, at the time of the DNC, decided to raise the terror alert to "orange". They did this due to intelligence received in Pakistan that terrorists were planning to plant bombs in the New York and London subway systems. Tom Ridge also leaked the name of the prime suspect, Khan. Of course, after this leak, everyone associated with this terrorist cell decided to "get outta Dodge". As a result the British and Pakistan governments were unable to arrest everyone they needed to arrest in this group. At least 5 members were able to escape.
FLASHBACK --- 2004:
A Pakistani security official, who also spoke on the condition of anonymity, said Tuesday that despite failing to capture some al Qaeda suspects after Khan's arrest, the country's security agencies were chasing them and would eventually get them.
The official would not reveal the names or nationalities of the fugitives who evaded arrest.
That's right, folks! The U.S. and Britain KNOW THE NAMES of the fugitives that escaped due to the GOP leak.
THE QUESTION THE BRITISH AND AMERICAN JOURNALISTS SHOULD BE ASKING RIGHT NOW:
Did any of the fugitives that escaped the 2004 round-up of an Al Qaeda cell in Pakistan take part in the London Bombing?
If this turns out to be the case --- the Rove scandal will look like a walk in the park. Afterall, 50+ British citizens may have died as a result.
BTW, Tom Ridge told reporters in 2004 after regretting that the leak took place:
"As it turned out, all's well that ends well."
That may not be the case.
----------------------
PLEASE --- Greg Palast or Eric Brewer or someone who has the oportunity --- ASK THIS QUESTION.
Thanks!!!

RE: #1
UPDATE....UPDATE....UPDATE....UPDATE....
Mohammad Sidique Khan, 30, was a guest of the Labour MP Jon Trickett in July 2004, four months after he had been identified by intelligence officials as a "criminal associate" of one of the subjects of a major counter-terrorism operation that had resulted in several arrests.

Not surprisingly, this story is growing legs in the British press.

I recommend you tune into the IBC network show sometime during the hour immediately preceding your show. If they are having a problem you may then be able to begin contacting the network to straighten out the problem before the show starts.
Looking forward to the show. Hope everything goes straight down the middle of the fairway.

I suppose Brad will be asking about Novak's outing of Brewster Jennings & Associates in a column he wrote after outing Wilson's wife. Brewster Jennings was a CIA front company which had to be rolled up with untold potential damage to national security. As I understand it, it was used to infiltrate Saudi oil businesses (ie, ARAMCO) ... following the money perhaps to terrorist organizations. Perhaps it was getting too close to Bush friends. This about much more than publicizing a "desk jockey" who had the power to send her "partisan" husband to Niger in order to scuttle Bush Administration plans.
Rove as whistleblower indeed!
