I can't resist... The look on that FOX interviewer's face was so funny, when dear Judy laid it out on the table for the world to hear. It was so GREAT!!

BTW, I read some of the comments on the site you linked to and It's incredible how many people are supporting the anchor!!
"It wasn't very appropriate"
"Judy was behaving like a child"
NONSENSE!!
It's about time people start ambushing the U.S. media! The American media should be embarrassed about how sanitized to the truth they have become. In fact, I think Judy should have had pictures there with American and Iraqi casualities to drive the point home even more.
Oh, "boo-hoo"! The fox anchor didn't get to do her nice little fluff story, so that we could feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Unbelievable!!!

STOP_ GEORGE, that is funny. Everything Bush was saying the "evil" countries/leaders are doing, i.e. suppressing their peoples' freedom, is exactly what HE is doing. That big, funny hypocrite...

Oh, Judy was so (excuse my 70's expression) BITCHIN..!!! How COULD she talk about the "gala affair" when our countrymen and women are dying. Judy has heart. She cares for her fellow man. I hope she doesn't get fired, but I think she probably felt pretty good about what she did. She's one smart, classy, woman, and any organization should be proud to have her. I hope every news anchor and reporter caught this one. Maybe they'll get their heart back.

Toni:
Thanks! I hope you all get a kick out of it! Use it as a daily "tonic" to start your day!
BTW, the music in the background is a march used by Hitler.
Truly spooky how well it fits, isn't it?!

Brad. you are as welcome as the flowers in May. And I think we should tell Vanity Fair how much we enjoyed the interview. Http://www.vanityfair.com/ Also want to thank you for the beautiful coverage on the protest. Once again, you've made my day!

The conservative George Wills said that the "parade" made the US "look like a banana republic".
That statement was repeated on national media this morning.

The following was sent to day to Vanity Fair:
"Dear Vanity Fair:
In honor of the truth-speaking Judy Bachrach who revealed on Fox News her opinion of the immoral excesses of the Bush "gala" during a time of war when our troops are not even adequately equipped --- I will be sending you my subscription to Vanity Fair forthwith. Thank you so much for her voice!"
By the way, Vanity Fair's editorials have been consistent and masterful in opposing Bush and his criminal policies. It has become more than a fashion and gossip magazine. It has published many important political exposees. This trend needs to be encouraged!

People should also ask their cable/satellite/whatever suppliers to block CBS/CNN/ABC/etc. propaganda channels and stop charging (if they are) for them.
Why would anyone want 24/7 propaganda, lies and lack of journalistic integrity when we are now producing much higher quality news with much more integrity... by ourselves!! (you know what I mean by 'ourselves'.. independantly of their bullshit.)
We should threaten to abandon the mainstream that doesn't report the truth. Subscribe to those that do tell the truth, much like CD's comment above. - Support the truth-tellers and do everything you can to ensure the liars are not making money from you through package subscriptions.
It's the only way to turn the game around, unsubscribe, get their channels blocked.. turn your back on them and do everything you can to make a noticeable drop in their "viewership". Who needs the media spewing lies at them? (besides Republicans of course??)

re #17:
Good one, Dredd.
They had it all planned a long time ago. Of course. It makes perfect sense. You can't pull off a crime of this magnitude with only a few days' planning!

There is actually a Fox Trap that you can buy for about 8 bucks and that gets a letter sent to them saying that you have blocked their signal.
http://www.foxblocker.com/
I think it's a good idea to ask your cable company to do it for you, if they will. You will still get charged, but start with Fox. I think if enough of us did this, it would make a big impression on the other channels. That's the key. Screw Fox News. They will never change their format. They got the idea for the news format from Geraldo's live TV opening of Al Capone's safe. Incredible ratings with absolutely no content whatsoever.

For anyone who missed this site, they have rerouted the link and it now works just fine. I had the same problem as Becky and III.
Just curious - was Judy not raised to be a proper lady with the admonishment, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"? I found a sweet little piece of folkart which said, "If you can't say anything nice, come sit by me." in this case, Judy can sit by me anytime. It's difficult to find "nice" with this Bush lot.
Thanks again Nana and Toni for the reference.

Winter Patriot, God love you! "...a crime of this magnitude" indeed! We're at the very beginning of a century, nay, a millennium, and this is already certain to go down as the crime of the century and even millennium! It's hard to imagine a greater crime than stealing American democracy! This must be dealt with appropriately.
