When they selected only one tool as their own, a hammer, pretty soon even their own began to look like nails.
So, they "nail" each other.
A hate canon engenders firing a loose cannon habitually.
Everyone loses.
Whatever happened to Saint Reagan's law "Thou Shalt Not Nail Republicans?"

I have to agree with the radical Republican wannabee fascists : Mitch McConnell is too flaccid - old and turtle-like - to win an election. They need somebody even more foolish, and they'll probably get him.
America in the 21st century! ugh!

Yeah Dredd.
Looks like the eleventh commandment is eroding. New life will spring out of decay.

The video is simply amazing!
I've been watching the Olympics all week to get away from all this crap and it hasn't been a waste of time at all.
For some reason, you can't get a good glance at any of the Olympic events unless you watch live, but a Japanese 19 year old who lived though the tsunami in Japan gave a perfect performance in the short session of the figure skating - got the best score ever in that event -, but managed to get the gold medal, even though he had problems in the long session. I wish I could provide you with his perfect performance.
I CAN provide you with this wonderful performance from American Jason Brown, because it wasn't performed in an Olympic venue. Unfortunately, he had to give a perfect performance at the Olympics and stumbled once. He has been perfectly accepting of his fate there, but just watch this viral video.
Hope to make it MORE viral if I can!

Personalty, I think the guy from Spain got screwed. He gave a bad performance the day before, but delivered last night, BIG TIME!

The reason Reagan's commandment was emitted was because he knew how vicious and nasty Republicans like Lee Atwater were becoming and how religious and "purist" parts of the republican party were longing to be. In order for the Republicans to have any chance in future races he saw that they needed to use their venom only on Democrats. It worked for one generation. Now it will be the Republican's undoing.

Alex:
I have to disagree. Reagan was told to give the eleventh commandment as a script, and he complied.
We can only hope it will be their undoing someday.

Just wow. We can only hope this internal power struggle turns into an orgy of self-destruction for the GOP/Tea Party, and that a new, ideologically pure and extreme neo-fascist GOP doesn't emerge out of the ruins - and that the Dems don't trip up and make it somehow appealing to look to such an alternative.

Regarding the venom in the video, and St. Reagan's quote about Repubs not nailing Repubs... my farm-raised dad had an earthy expression that seems to fit; "even pigs are smart enough to not $#!+ where they live"...
