Idiot former “family values” Congressman and deadbeat dad Joe Walsh (R-IL) helps world understand why he was run out of Congress…
Let's hope that when the Islamists next strike they first behead the appeasing cowards at CNN, MSNBC, etal who refused to show the cartoons.

Because nothing says “courage” like calling for people to be beheaded! Am I right, Congressman?
Apparently, Freedom of the Press applies to the publication of offensive cartoons, but not to the decision to not publish them, according to the idiot Walsh. If you choose to not publish such things, you should be beheaded.
It’s that sort of question I asked about in my “Why?” piece following the Charlie Hebdo massacre last week, and that Glenn Greenwald speaks to even more specifically in his own must read piece on the issue.
I’ll also be talking a bit more about all of this (and taking calls on it) on The BradCast on KPFK/Pacifica Radio later today. (6-7p ET/3-4p PT, streaming live right here. If you’d like to call in, please do: 818-985-5735.)

Let’s hope that when the Islamists next strike they first behead the appeasing cowards at CNN, MSNBC, etal who refused to show the cartoons.
These words are a testament to the insanity and war mongering fascist hype that is sucking the lifeblood from each of us while depriving us our our only natural lives. We are here for only a short time. These people are fascist scum, nothing more, nothing less.
Joe Walsh IS a cartoon. He’s a disgrace to Joe Walsh’s everywhere.
Larry –
True. Life’s been (too) good to him. So far.
Idiot former “family values” Congressman and deadbeat dad Joe Walsh (R-IL) helps world understand why he was run out of Congress…
What further pisses me off is that he was elected in the first place. Is there any buyer’s remorse in Illinois? How embarrassed and ashamed I would be to have to admit I voted for that monumental douche.
At a town hall meeting on August 8, 2012, Congressman Walsh said this:
“I’m looking for some godly men and women in the Senate, in the Congress, who will stand in the face of the danger of Islam in America without political correctness,” the man said. “Islam is not the peaceful, loving religion we hear about.”
The line was met with applause.

So guess what? Two days later:
On Friday night, there were two pellet-gun shots on a mosque in the Chicago suburb Morton Grove. No one was injured, and 51-year-old David Conrad has been charged for shooting on the outer wall of the building as people prayed inside.
This was just days after Tea Party Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) delivered a town hall speech on the “real threat” of radical Muslims in the U.S.

If former Rep. Walsh is so gung-ho about provoking more hostility, then he should show his courage by creating a you tube channel with the cartoons he wants everyone else to publish, and make it known to the world that he’s unafraid. I’m sure he’d have some excellent feedback. Just another cowardly jerk calling for others to dare what he is unwilling to do.
But the stupid comment award goes to someone besides Walsh.
The other day on the Mike Malloy program, Mike was talking about, (I think it was actually a congressman), someone who was jumping on the bandwagon condemning Obama for not showing up in France for the huge gathering condemning the attack on the cartoonists.
this may be paraphrasing, but he wrote ‘at least Hitler wasn’t afraid to go to France’, and spelled Hitler as Hitlur.
Think about that one for a while – or don’t.
