While it is obvious that Trump is a hypocrite and the timing is terrible, it is a good thing that Mr. Comey has been fired.
A bigger problem is the FBI is better at being a thought police agency than stopping crime. Remember what J. Edgar Hoover did to MLK (and the King family lawsuit in 1999 that documented the worst of this). And the COINTELPRO program to disrupt social change efforts.
Extensive research indicates Hillary did not actually lose the 2016 election.
