Ron here,
I'm with bike4peace.org We are bicyling across the country protesting the the war in iraq (and war in general), promoting peaceful alternatives to oil dependency. We believe
"Real Freedom is cheaper than Dependency!"
So far we have connected with hundreds who are against the war and for peaceful alternatives along our route from Everett, WA to DeSmet, SD. We will be in Tyler, MN on Tuesday. Our final destination is Washington DC, September 22, 2005. Anyone can check our iternerary online @ bike4peace.org
(note: we are one day off schedule, so we will be arriving a day later than the iteneray shows.) For more info please contact me; rontoppi.sharingwheels@verizon.net
We are gaining momentum as we get closer to DC. There are critical mass rides planned in different locations. Our rest days in both Lisle, IL (just ouside of Chicago) and Cleveland would be great places for some media coverage. We have also been doing a weekly radio update with our local Everett station,90.7 FM KSER. It would be great if Brad could pick up the feed from them and air it. Contact Ed Bremmer, station manager; kser.org
or 425/303-9070
The peace movement seems to really be picking up momentum. We need unity in our message and actions for it to be effective.
Let's join together and maybe we can change things! They will have to listen sooner or later if we get louder and more powerful in numbers.
Peace,
Ron Toppi

American MainstreamMedia ignoring WTC maintenance worker William Rodriguez' story, that he and about 15 eyewitnesses heard bombs go off in basement of WTC North Tower seconds before plane hit. William Rodriguez' 9/11 speaking symposiums across Europe, and now across the United States, are selling out to packed houses. Chicago Tribune refused to cover his symposium Aug. 21, right near Chicago, for various contradictory excuses, including they didn't know about it (even though they were told well in advance by letter/fax/email) and they "didn't have the resources", yet ran front-page stories on a dodgeball tournament and a series on cookies made by a multinational firm with ties to the Tribune corporation's board of directors.

On the heals of death threats coming from Washington, William Rodriguez has his apartment burglarized.

I just wanted to thank Brad for the great coverage, and Sistwo over at dkos for clueing me in to the bradcasts.
I hate to do this to you, but as I am ever the critic, what is with the music during the breaks? Can you solicit funds to pay royalties for some new music? Hearing the same clips over and over untill folks are annoyed is a big mistake marketing wise.
And as long as I'm giving notes, your website is a mess, graphically speaking. Too jammed together, hard to read, hard to find what you're looking for.
I am NOT saying I could do better. The content is top notch, and I am a huge fan, but the look is a headache waiting to happen.
Thanks for all that you do, and I'll be listening ... at least as long as you're in Crawford.

Thanks Kira and Winter for all the great work. Way to go Brad crew.
Steve: If there are problems on the website it's because Brad has been on remote for the past week providing you with very fine coverage of Cindy Sheehan in Crawford, and prior to that on a much needed vacation.
Relax and enjoy the archives of many high-quality shows with mighty fine interviews of high-profile guests accomplished in The BRAD SHOW studio hidden away in the Hollywood Hills.
For now, content is ALL that matters as profound as it has been --- even though the quality of this field production has also been quite remarkable in my opinion.

BTW . . .people are teeming for you to come to DC. ;-b..... come on . . . i know you want to see first hand where all the dirt is happening.

Welcome. Sorry you didn't discover BB and Brad Show sooner! You've missed a lot of good radio (but you can listen via mp3 files).
Here's some history and info that may help you be more tolerant of the imperfections of Hamster House (a.k.a. Brad Show from Crawford).
From your comments about the music, it sounds like you listened to the show via one of the White Rose Society's links. Back home in LA, Brad's show is broadcast via Raw Radio at IBC radio network. Ben Burch at White Rose Society stepped in pronto for the Crawford broadcasts, and offered two additional sites for listening. Ben and WRS provide free daily audio of progressive and liberal talk radio shows. The WRS has provided a faultless listening link to Brad Show Operation Noble Cause. So, if you want Ben to change his music, get on over to the WRS site and ply him with $$.
Ben's contribution was just one of the many miracles that made it possible for Brad to broadcast from Crawford. If you have time to read back through the archives, you'll understand what I'm talking about.
I've been reading Brad' Blog since Nov. 2004, and the layout never has bothered me, because I lapped up the information, but to each his own. Perhaps at a subconscious level it was comforting, because it didn't have corporation-slick layout. I knew that a real person was behind it! Brad's into telling the truth, not into marketing. My view.

Has anyone else noticed how drugged-up Bush looks lately? His face is all red like a tomato, he has the far-away look in his eyes, he can barely make a complete sentence anymore, and after every successfully-completed sentence he does that creepy jaw-grind thing that anyone who has ever been around cokeheads will be familiar with. Perhaps he's on sedatives to mellow him out but simultaneously tooting a little coke to make him a little more alert?

Five words that if they catch on might be a good slogan or at least a useful summation of teh current "presidential" situation:
Bush is America's Boris Yeltsin!!
And I'm not talking about the early Yeltsin climbing on the armored personnel carrier but the mid to late Yeltsin all likkered up and crazy taking the conductor's baton and directing the band. Congratulations!! At least the real Boris Yeltsin was funnier and not reviled anywhere near the way President Lush, I mean Bush is.

Brad and Everyone:
It was good to meet you and your producer at the Crawford Peace House on Saturday...
I'm posting about my new song, "Prairie Chapel Road," which has been an inspiration to the families and vets at Camp Casey, and has been called "the unofficial song of Camp Casey" by several bloggers.
I got the high honor to play it for the military families and vets at Camp Casey 1 on Friday, August 19th, during an interfaith prayer vigil. I also got to play it at "Camp Casey 2" on the last Saturday Rally. Many of them came running up to me afterwards, and said that it was "their song." It's now been donwloaded almost 2,000 times in the past few days, and a clip was featured on BBC Radio.
Listen to it here
It's also been used as the soundtrack of a new movie from the "Not in Our Name" folks.
Low Quality Version here
High Quality Version here
My blog about my days in Crawford and the writing of this song, can be found here
Thanks for getting it out there.

Ricky - Sorry. Not a one drum circle. We did, however, have a very moving candle light vigil tonight at Camp Casey I with the folks from the Bush side of the street who were invited to join us in memory of the thousands killed in George W. Bush's war. Thanks for asking.

Yikes is right. And it isn't solely Rodriguez the janitor who saw, heard and felt explosions regarding the Twin Towers on 9/11, but a lot of others too like the N.Y. firemen who survived. I've seen a video clip of some of them talking in their firehouse a few days after 9/11 and they said they heard and felt explosions. Not too long after the surviving firemen started mentioning the explosions a court placed a gag order on all of them to not speak of anything they saw, heard or felt on 9/11. Furthermore, the F.A.A. air traffic controllers on duty on 9/11 are under a similar gag order to not talk about anything they heard or saw on their radar screens on 9/11. Add to that the very hasty removal of the steel debris from the WTC so it could be shipped off to China and India to be melted down instead of analyzed, and you have a blatant cover-up. That's why they would arrest passersby who tried to take photos of it. That's also why when they moved each semi truckload of steel debris out to the scrap dealer to be thenceforth taken to China and India, on each semi was a GPS locator so that if the driver went anywhere off of his route or stopped they'd know immediately and the driver would be fired. At least one driver stopped for lunch and got fired. Now why would they put GPS tracking devices on the semis full of debris that's so "unimportant" that they're going to have it quickly melted down?? This ONLY makes sense if it's a cover-up as they wanted to make sure no drivers stopped to toss any "souvenirs" off to save for later.
Or you could just watch the video footage of the "collapses" of the Twin Towers and WTC # 7 and you can easily SEE the explosions and the "squibs" of dust jetting out of windows near the blasts and watch as they each come down in nine seconds [more than ten floors "collapsing" per second!!], impossible unless it was a controlled demolition.
