We are no longer earning weel, so our population is consuming less which weakens our economy which causes more workers to lose pay/jobs which weakens the economy...
Raise the minimum wage, tax the wealthy, tax the international corporations, eliminate loop-holes and tax dodging tactics so everyone pays their fair share. If not eventually our economy will be so weak we will have no clout in the international markets because we have lost our buying power.
