Tonight featuring questions from "Soft Supporters" for both candidates (fought for by Bush team — original plan was for "Undecideds"). Who asks which candidates which questions, I don’t know. Anybody know?
Bob Novak call Bush Stupid and Dummy, on cnn with Wolf B.
Fox News Pre-coverage: On the Right, Host Brit Hume, Fred Barnes, Mort Kondracke and Bill Kristol.
On the Left: Nadda. Nobody. Nothing.
There’s your Fair & Balance.
Anderson Cooper just said that tonight, “It’s all about the undecided voter”. So the useful thing about this evening’s forum is that the rest of us get to see just how incredibly howl-at-the-moon frinkin’ stupid you have to be to remain undecided after four years of George Bush.
"Weapons of Mass Deception" – Good headline. (Anybody watching a "split screen" version? If so, where?)
75% of Al Qaeda "brought to justice"? …Nope.
Good call Brad, am at work and all of us in the room said the same thing.
What about Bush smirking/laughing when Kerry turned right to him and talked about the Duelfer report.
Good so far.
Sheesh, pulling out the ‘Wrong War, Wrong Place’ nonsense again.
He’s got nothing.
Kerry’s all over it.
Don’t forget Poland!
Ummm, isn’t this debate on domestic issues?
At least in theory?
So far it looks like CNN & ABC are doing the spit screen. They are cutting the pool feed by having a truck at the location. It’s an added expense and effort for which some credit is due.
(No, debate on both Foreign and Domestic. Questions from audience as they wish. Final debate will be all Domestic)
Quite a brawl tonight so far! Who’s winning?
OUCH. Step on Gibson. That’s not good! He’s pulling an Al Gore (overadjusting to compensate for his sleep-walk last time!)
Who’s winning? Ask the undecided but if Bush keeps getting that worked up…
"Liberty can change habits."
“Spread freedom”, let’s start here in the Heimat you Neo-Fascist!
THAT’s what I want to see more of! Hold him to account for his lies, as he tells them. What the hell has taken Kerry so long to do that? It’s not like it’s hard to do!
Good debate…eh?
Bush: "He voted 98 times to raise taxes. These aren’t make-up figures!" ….uh, yes, Mr. "President" they are "make-up figures".
I want to go visit "the halls of Europe".
Debate just about even as of now…essentially.
But on that, I think Kerry wins. Kerry’s support is soft amongst those that don’t know if he’s up for the task. If he stands up to Bush, and this thing ends "even", Kerry ends up the winner.
He gets the support of those who didn’t *want* to vote for Bush, but were not sure of Kerry.
Kerry’s *at least* as strong as Bush tonight. Shoring up his big ‘mo. Overall win for Kerry if this continues as is.
They both are carrying silver guns tonight.
Kerry can knock that Dred Scott thing outta the park! Big opportunity! Will he take it?
BUSH: "We’re on the move…"
