Voter registrations and voter registration data bases have been a huge problem during the primary elections. There is no reason to believe that they will not be a huge problem in November. One of the only ways to ensure a voter is registered is for that voter to check his or her registration. We recommend every voter check now and then check again just before the voter’s state registration closes before November. We urge voters who find themselves purged from the registration roles to write letters of complaint to their local Boards of Supervisors, especially their own representatives, with copies to their SoSs, their local newspaper Editors, and their congressional members. If those responsible for representing the citizenry start receiving such letters they might act to eliminate the cause. You can find out the date that your state is closing registration and whom to check with to ensure your registration is still HERE. You should also give 1-866-OUR-VOTE a call and report the incident to them They may be able to assist you on the legal side [See our Featured article]…

The easiest way to reverse the inappropriate purging of voter registration rolls–and the easiest way to register new voters who will vote–is for the campaigns to compare current voter rolls to ones from 2006, 2004, 2002, 2000 and 1998. Then track down the voters who have been purged and get them signed up to vote again before the election. The potential numbers are huge. In Ohio, Bob Fitrakis and Harvey Wasserman estimate that as many as 500,000 Ohioans were purged by Kenneth Blackwell between the 2000 and 2004 elections. If they hadn’t been, well, the 2004 Ohio Presidential Election results might well have been different. So, Obamacans and McCainiacs here’s your chance to pile up big numbers for your candidate: Get all your purged voters back on the voter rolls and do yourselves, and most importantly, democracy, a huge favor.

The Brown Shirts are Threatening the guy who runs Information Clearing House Website
by Mike Whitney
Aug 6, 2008 Tom Feeley who runs the web site informationclearinghouse.info has been getting serious death threats in order to force him to stop publishing.
His internet website updates “news you won’t find in the corporate media” every day. The site is strongly anti-war.
Tom has gotten his share of death threats over the years, but what happened this week is a lot more serious.
Two days ago, Tom’s wife found three well dressed men in their kitchen.
