   “Sen. David Vitter, R-La., apologized Monday night for “a very serious sin in my past” after his telephone number appeared among those associated with an escort service operated by the so-called “D.C. Madam.””

   How about THIS chestnut: invoking “GOD”, as all GOP’ers do:

   “I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling.”

   Well, they ARE the party of “GOD” and “family values”… You see? “God” forgave him, when they spoke together…

   a bit of fun. do google searches on ‘palfrey’ or ‘david vitter’, click ‘news’ and you get top grouping indicating there are 200+ media articles; click on that and instead you get 8 actual pieces. even when there was an option for looking at those results ‘omitted’, i got 9 results, not 200+ and now google isn’t even giving the option of looking at any omitted.
   the sooner the corporate media – and that includes google – are exposed and replaced by real reporters, the better.
   robert kennedy jr at ‘live earth’ said it well.
