I wonder what would happen if President Bush just stayed the course and sat in the meeting like soldiers in Iraq are staying the course?
Those service members are concentrating on a mission.
Concentrate on interacting with the UN and not dictating to the UN.
Stay the course Mr. President. Stay the course.
Even if it means a little discomfort, stay the course. Think of the discomfort of men and women in Iraq.
Stay the course.
This photo is an embrassment to the American people.

Does anyone realize he probably wasn't paying attention at an important meeting, because he had to piss so bad???
I heard that he originally had "POTTY" instead of "BATHROOM", but switched it, so it would look more presidential...you can see the eraser marks...

His friends from S A would have brought some of the good stuff in a diplomatic bag.

The President is asking permission to pee? This is more ridiculous than Carter signing off on use of the White House tennis court!
Wake up America. The madness has to end.
This is like the picture of Bush birding the media as he walks away. If it's for real, it's way, way beyond embarrassing.
But my first thought on seeing the picture was that it reminds me of the American worker today. You know how in some of the third world countries there are factories run by or for US companies where purportedly one is not allowed to pee? Same happens here in the US. A friend of mine has a union job, for corn's sake, and he simply is not allowed bathroom breaks. It is verboten.
Humanity doesn't count for much anymore.

The picture is authentic, or it wouldn't be seen on the sites it is.
The problem with this picture is what it says about how well prepared POTUS is for these events.
There are PROTOCOLS in such situations, and if Bush had sufficient cognitive abilities and retention, he would be BRIEFED in these. Simple things like, "And, Mr. President, if you should need a break for any reason, simply raise your pencil and say... 'I need to confer with my staff.' and stand up and go out door #2."
He's a stooge and an idiot and not capable of performing the duties of POTUS, and every single person who supports him and keeps him in that position is as guilty of treason against the constitution as those who kept Reagan in office after he was clearly incompetent, in violation of the 25th Amendment.
What democracy? We have a boy-king puppet standing in for the military/industrial complex.
September 24-26 is an opportunity to put the players on notice that we aren't going to go quietly into the dark night.

Well, hcocdr, I guess -part- of the point is.. when I get ready for a 3 hour drive, I try to not drink very much before that.. and thats just for a friggin DRIVE..
Then, you have this thought.. if he was a decent human being who showed at least a single iota of a shit for anyone other than himself, maybe he'd be cut some slack.. Decent folks try to give you the benifit of the doubt.. but when a shit-bag like this guy does -anything- that can be attacked, even decent folks who are exhausted from dealing with his psychosis are apt to pick on him..
Bathroom break.. reasonable? sure.. why not just say "I'm sorry Mr. Speaker... Might we have a 5 minute recess?" instead of ask permission from Rice? gimme a break.. he's the leader of the most powerfull nation in the world, and he asks Rice if it's ok to pee?
Stop sucking on the twiggy dick of Shrubman.. accept the -fact- that this psycho has brought all this on himself.. stop trying to make it look like he needs someone to come to his rescue.. sheesh.. he's the MOST vacationist president -ever-, and in the 'biggest crisis ever', if you belive his tripe..

Does anybody know the number of times Poppy & Mommie have made appearances on National TV specifically to take up for their son? I saw them on Larry King on Sept. 5th doing just that.
How many Presidents have we had whose parents had to take up for them? Seriously, folks!!
I kept thinking about how bu$h is just a child - in all ways except age. SERIOUSLY, FOLKS!!
We have an inept leader whose mental & emotional development has been arrested in the teen years.
What an UTTER EMBARRASSMENT this is for our country. The entire world is LAUGHING!!! The bu$h family is so PATHETIC!!! Good grief.

Bluebear2 - don't know if this is what you're looking for (from E&P) --
Reuters Says Bush Photo Not 'Malicious,' Reports Wide Interest
[snip] NEW YORK With confirmation today that an accidental photo of President Bush at the United Nations on Wednesday, writing a note to Secretary of State Condeezza Rice about a “bathroom break,” was indeed real, newspapers around the U.S. and abroad are now planning to run it widely. But many, it seems, will treat it as something more than a joke.
A source at the Washington Post tells E&P that the paper is considering it for prominent play tomorrow morning, in the context that, at least in some minds, it raises questions about overall perception of the U.S. at the United Nations, right or wrong. Reuters reports extremely strong interest in the photo today.
The fact is, according to Reuters --- and this has not been widely reported --- President Bush did indeed take a bathroom break after passing the note to Rice.
This apparently raised some eyebrows around the room, because American representatives (among others) have a reputation for suddenly bolting, though normally for a far different reason than this latest one. Fair or not, the European press has already had a field day with the photo, often centering on the notion that Bush had to ask Rice for permission. [snip]
The article is humorous!

I've been an amateur handwriting analyst for 25 years and received rave reviews, so I trust my 'guru's' take on Bush's writing -
The mixture of printing and CAPITALS in the writing shows someone who is antisocial. This is more than being unconventional; they don't care about following rules. The writing also shows absolutely no imagination or drive, and very little individuality.
Personally I already agreed with the people who say Bush is a sociopath, and this writing is certainly in line with that diagnosis. (Remember, most sociopaths are not violent.) A very scary and shameful situation for our country!
