      All,

Remember what this is all about: Your Constitutution.

Challenge the nation to see that the issue is not one of ideology, but of law.

The choice is simple. Between your constitution and a tyrant. It is irrelevant whether you are conservative, independent, or liberal.

We are Americans. Under one Constitution.

Be ready to embrace the RNC-defectors as you join forces to preserve your document.

Keep this mind as you discuss the Downing Street Memo, the follies on the Judiciary Committee, voting, and the well-deserved mocking of those who choose tyranny over your Constitution.

You’ve already won in 1776. The only issue is how long it tkaes the tyrant’s allies understand he remains a threat to all they value.

Enjoy the show as they are defeated. And rightfully so. You outnumber them. And they are afraid.

As anyone should be on the eve of their demise. Be brave and relish your continuing victory. It is well deserved and well respected.

      Hey Brad,

While you have Rep Wasserman Schultz on the phone, see if you can play that clip of that dipshit Rep Putnam presiding over a voice vote. He said the "No’s" have it when clearly the majority voted Yes. You might hear one person saying No.

      http://movies.crooksandliars.com/putnam.mp3

It’s from the Crooks and Liars site. I understand John Amato from C and L is going to be on tonight. They’ve been doing a great job over there.

By the way, the vote was on whether the tax payers or United Airlines should pay for United’s default on their pension fund.

Guess what? Putnam agrees with the one guy who says the tax payers should eat the cost.

What the DNC wanted to do is whitewash the fraudulent 2004 stolen election and they have been successful in that endeavor. Thanks but no thanks, for all your help dems…

GuvWurld said on 6/25/2005 @ 1:50pm PT: [Permalink]

Do not let this guy have the frame of disenfranchisement and/or fraud. Bottom line: unverifiable votes that can’t be recounted, and votes counted in secret ensure inconclusive outcomes – there is no basis for confidence in the results reported. If we can’t expect unanimous agreement about election results then the system is not worth using for an election.

nonbeliever said on 6/25/2005 @ 1:53pm PT: [Permalink]

I disagree with this guy. There were definitely enough anomalies and incidents in Ohio that rise to the level of fraud in my opinion.

Did this DNC report investigate why Warren County said the FBI issued a terror alert warning while votes were being counted. They ended up kicking the media out, when they counted the votes but the FBI said they issued no such warning.

In my opinion, there was significant fraud in Ohio, Florida and potentially New Mexico and North Carolina. They wanted to recount in New Mexico, but Democratic Governor Bill Richardson killed it. He’s another punk.

      http://www.votersunite.org/electionproblems.asp

Read the incidents reported in Ohio and Florida you will blow your freakin top!!

Couple of issues that might be interesting to tie into the discussion at some point.

      Feedback from GITMO

House yesturday had a tour of GITMO. Wondering how the reuslts of their findings get flowed into Congressional reviews. [ More . . . ]

      Congressional role

Also, Senate Judiciary Chairman reminded us that it is Congress that defines the rules about captures on land, not the President. [ More . . . ]

How would the Congress and Judicial Committee respond if the States decided to define some specific rules imposing sanctions on committee members if they fail to ensure oversight occurs, and the Congress [not the President] is the one that defines the rules of war.

If the Congress chooses to say, "We don’t have to listen," is the Minority in the Judiciary Committee willing to support the States in a Constitutional Convention and appropirate modernizations for the Constitution to ensure appropriate sanctions remain in place at the State Level to impose disciplien at the Federal level?

      The New Bill of Rights

While we’re waiting, why not visit this website: thenewbillofrights.com. It’s a bit of a misnomer; the author has a new amendment in mind. Rather than restricting individual rights as some want to do (flag burning, marriage), he proposes restricting those of the government. This guy seems to be on the right track.

      The government shall not mandate:
"What free adults can or cannot eat, drink or smoke,
      Whom we’ll marry,
If and when to give birth,
      When or how to die."

I’m beginning to believe this too. There is no way that DNC report was complete.

Also, there had to be some democrats involved in rigging the Florida 2000 vote too. I think the democratic party needs to be scrapped and rebuilt. I really hope Dean can make it happen.

If not, I think we should just build the Greens. I’m tired of these fixed elections and traitorous dems telling we should just accept the results and get along. The discrepancy between exit polls and actual votes here in 2004 were larger than what they were in the Ukraine.

They had a re-vote there while we inaugurated the idiot boy for four more years of war and incompetence.

"The point is simply this: do not be misled into believing that elections are reliant upon technology which can be manipulated. The real question of whether there “are sufficient and proper safeguards to make it highly improbable?” And the answer to that is yes. It may be possible to do many things, but like time travel (which is theoretically possible), it is highly unlikely at this time."

"The ability to manipulate an election with DREs, combined with election practices and procedures, means it is highly unlikely to be able to do this and get away with it. You can still manipulate an election easiest with hand-counted paper ballots."

How about a pro-Constitution Party, something orignal like a "Constitutional Party."

      The Constitution Party

The Constitution Party holds that American laws have origin in the Holy Bible. It advocates a stricter adherence to what it views as the original intent of the United States Constitution and the principles of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. It has a strict approach to moral and personal issues, especially homosexuality and abortion, and seeks to encourage the role of religion in American life.

      1) Pres of Diebold pledged to deliver Ohio’s electoral votes to the idiot boy

Most of the electronic machines in Ohio aren’t Diebold, but they count a large amount of votes country wide.

      2) Sen Chuck Heagle was head of a voting machine company. Said company sold machines to Nebraska and he gets elected on these same machines.

And there is without question a true community conservative element to the Green outlook. Shouldn’t get stuck in terminology with all kinds of baggage. which is what generally happens. What do we believe? Maybe it’s time for a "Great Awakening" – politically.

…Senator Chuck Hagel, former E S & S Chairman (AIS at the time, just prior to the buyout), was running the company in 1995 that would count his votes in his amazing surprise victory in 1996 – the first Republican Senate winner in Nebraska in 24 years! Local papers called it a “stunning upset.” It was his first race for the Senate; he had been living out of state for 20 years, and was running against Nebraska’s popular former Governor, Ben Nelson. Nelson was leading in the polls by 65% to 18%, yet Hagel came from behind and won at 56%.

From June 2002 until March 20, when the ground war began, the allies flew 21,736 sorties over southern Iraq, attacking 349 carefully selected targets. The attacks, Moseley said, “laid the foundations” for the invasion, allowing allied commanders to begin the ground war.

That is my story for Monday, so it might turn out to be smoking water gun at that point since by then someone will snatch it, but nice of Mick to point that out and he is one of the few MSM journalists who has integrity, honesty, and for whom I have a great deal of respect.

Here is the article Brand I and I talked about:

Back to Larisa — I hope it doesn’t turn into a "smoking water gun." We’ve had too many hosers turning on us over the last 5 years.

Yes,… Ritter is correct as he has been thus far. If you go back to his statements about June, we have done that small part of process. The only reason things have not been more "speedy" as one would say, is because Bolton, they thought, would slide through.

re #177 SG I hear you LOUD and CLEAR … In fact, when the original leak of the DSM was released I didn’t even blog about it … because I already knew everything it said anyway!! And that was unfortunate because I was in the hot seat — guesting for Brad at the time — and it would have been a good idea to start a thread about it … at least!!

But as you may recall, it took a couple of prods from other people saying "come on WP this could be important. Couldn’t we at least have a thread about it?" before I started to think that maybe something in this DSM might be news to somebody.

These smoking guns have been out in the open for A LONG LONG TIME and I find it ridiculous and pathetic that we are still looking for more of them … no disrespect intended to those who are still looking, of course; that’s their job … the disrespect belongs elsewhere!

Today I voted in a statewide bond issue. There was only one thing on the ballot, the bond issue. It was a paper ballot. Vote ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, fold your ballot and you’re done.

This was supposedly the last all-paper ballot vote my state will ever have. I mentioned that to one of the poll workers and he thought it was terrific. He likes the electronic voting systems. They’re quick and easy.

I mentioned they could be hacked or just rigged and he simply didn’t believe it. He said he had had some computer-ish training and he simply didn’t believe it.

We have a long way to go to teach the public if even a poll worker is so ill-informed.

Hand-counting ballots may be bad, but having one guy who runs a company counting 40% of the nation’s ballots has to be worse. All the machines offer is speed and ease of voting. They’re more expensive.

What we need is transparency. There needs to be paper ballots for auditing purposes and if we have opti-scanners then the tallying software has to be publicly available for consideration. Even having paper ballots, but allowing privately held software in the machines which scan & tally their votes isn’t good enough.

We also have to ensure that all poll workers are dedicated to the party they’re supposed to be part of. We can’t have Dem poll workers who let Repubs run the show and fix the count.

Larisa, Bolton may get through on a recess appointment. I personally think it doesn’t matter if he tries to make a case to the UN or not.

The US’ credibility is officially shot when it comes to intelligence. I doubt even Britain will sign on to a coalition of the willing if we look for help against Iran. Blair couldn’t even get significant help from the shrub on help with aid to Africa, less than 3% of what Blair was asking for.

I was listening to Fox News the other day, they were trying to make a case that Bin Laden was in Iran now. I couldn’t believe my ears. They better not try it. I’m not letting myself get drafted in any bs war!!

No disrespect to anyone looking for more evidence supporting the fact that the President of the U.S. deceived congress to go to war. It also has the added effect of bringing everything else back into the fore.

But we should understand that it doesn’t get much better than WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE.

Spreading the word is the priority now.

      MarkH,

Good points. Couple of questions that come to mind for all to consider:

      * Would swifter, public penalties for voting fraud do the trick in reducing voter fraud?

      * Would independent monitors from the EU or OAS or UN do the trick?

There’s a big disconnect in people’s minds when they read the constitution, hear the "big story" about America’s Democracy . . . but when you look closely it’s shambles.

I’d like to the see the US get its own act together; then it would be in a position to simply demonstrate the self-evident "benefits" of Democracy.

Actions and example do far more than lectures, especially when those lectures are based on lies as evidenced by the Downing Street Memo.

What I find hard is reconciling my respect for certain dems, like Conyers & Wasserman Schultz, with my disgust with the rest.

Dominionist Bill Limits the Supreme Court’s Jurisdiction
The Constitution Restoration Act of 2004 and Now 2005

      By Katherine Yurica

      February 19, 2004

[Editor’s Note: April 6, 2005: The Constitution Restoration Act of 2005 is virtually identical to the 2004 version; however the Bill numbers have been changed. The 2005 House bill is HR 1070 and the 2005 Senate bill is S. 520 you can view the new laws by clicking.

[Editor’s Note: August 7, 2004. We have incorporated a portion of Katherine Yurica’s article, "For Whom the Bell Tolls" to give reader’s of this article a more complete view of the potential damage this bill can wreak in American life.]

Editor’s Note: February 28, 2004 Update: This article omits one fact that should have been included: the bill was drafted by former Judge Roy Moore’s lawyer, Herb Titus. Those who have read The Despoiling of America will know that Titus was the first Dean of Pat Robertson’s School of Public Policy and is a known Dominionist who has advocated the abolition of the government’s licensing powers. He has argued that government oversteps when it licenses lawyers, doctors, teachers, etc. Also, an earlier bill titled "Religious Liberties Restoration Act," S. 1558 dated July 21, 2003, specifically authorizes the display of the ten commandments and other religious references and exempts such items from judicial review by the U.S. Federal Courts. Our question is: What is actually intended by the Constitution Restoration Act of 2004?]

We wrote about it before it happened, we called them by their own name, Dominionists, and we told you that Dominionists in Congress were about to fire their first guns for reformation of the American government.

Only it should include Britain right up there as well, since our prime minister was instrumental in going round europe drumming up support and unity for the policies of your president prior to the attacks on Iraq. In fact perhaps in the greater scheme of things our prime minister must carry greater blame since it was primarily he (whatever his real motives might have been) who helped make Americas behaviour seem more legitimate and reasoned and gave it a more eloquent voice.

      Thanks for the links!

I’ve been wanting to hear this particular show!

Once we get the neocons asses for their war crimes in Iraq, maybe we can find the truth about 9-11

Hi Donna … I agree with you up to a point … but it seems fairly clear to me that bush was going to wage war on Iraq with or without blair … legitimacy is nothing to the chickenhawks! And as a matter of fact, oh! what have we here? A smoking gun? Sure looks like one to me.

Hey how do you like this for a tag line: Knowledge is Power. Pass it on!

A smoking gun from November, 2003? Could anything better illustrate the cowardice of our mainstream media than for an admission by a leading neo-con that the invasion of Iraq was illegal to never get published in the United States?

Perle: "International law stood in the way of our doing the right thing."

Translation: "Obeying the law is wrong, unless the law happens to conform to what we want to do."

      That’s tyranny, folks…almost a textbook example.

Why is there a gray box on post #217 ????????????

The gray box has appeared at other times as well.
      What’s going on?

      Thanks:)

Hi WP, I went to your blog and tried to post twice and nothing happened. Anyway your "Stress Position" commentary is excellent. I believe we are living under a fascist regime and that we should not be afreaid to use the f word.

Ok, now the gray box at #217 is an advertisement, but I still do not get why it’s on your post and I still want to know what happened with Kerry’s daughter.

      Thanks WP you are great!

I agree — we have all the evidence we need. We just need effective marketing campaignS.

I was all upset over the "gray box"/floating advertisement for awhile but learned that if it’s covering a post I want to read I can refresh the page and the floating box will move to a different part of the page.

I don’t know where it came from, it just appeared a few weeks ago for me.

Hope this helps! Have you tried posting at Winter’s site again? I don’t know how to help on that one!

I’m getting it, too. Yes — when you refresh, the "censor block" moves.

Too bad we couldn’t use this solution with documents coming out of Washington!

      Bizarre!

The other wonkey thing is what happened with my post on #288

      WHAT THE!!!!!

Thank you for all the great work you’re doing (and have already done) and for your persistence. Great job.

Alison – I’m glad the tip worked for you! I wonder where that "floating ad" command is ?? Brad – do you know?

Re: Bushw@cker — your link provided in #295

      Rumsfeld says:

"I think leaving the American people with the impression that it was an election that was valid — there were over 1,000 candidates that were disqualified, that weren’t even allowed to run," Rumsfeld said.

"So the fact that they had a mock election and elected a hard-liner ought not come to any surprise to anybody because all the other people were told they couldn’t run."

Um — should someone tell Dumbsfeld that Cobb & Badnarik were prohibited from debating with Kerry & bu$h — not only that, but they were prohibited from attending the debates

Participating in Democracy is Illegal (Thanks, WP #273 for the link!)

COBB ARRESTED WHILE ENTERING ST. LOUIS DEBATE

"The real crime is the corporate hijacking of our democracy"

David Cobb, the Green Party’s presidential candidate, was arrested Friday night, October 8, 2004, in St. Louis for committing civil disobedience to protest the anti-democratic presidential debates which are restricted to participants from two political parties and sponsored by their corporate contributors.

The debates’ sponsor, the Commission on Presidential Debates, denied the Cobb campaign’s repeated requests to participate in the debates with Bush and Kerry and even denied Mr. Cobb’s request to attend the St. Louis debate as an audience member.
      =========================

Ahem, Dumbsfeld … what was that again?

Today’s New York Times carried an article about the "Denver Three," who were denied admission to a Bush speech/photo-op because their car had a bumper sticker reading, "No More Lies." Some thug who was either a Secret Service officer or was impersonating one told them to take a hike.

Instead of raising a fuss, they left. But then they contacted the Denver office of the Secret Service, which told them it shouldn’t have happened, and that an investigation was underway to find out who the "phony" agent was. Meanwhile, their (Republican) congresswoman stood up for them and said, "This should not have happened." The three have been making appearances in D.C.

But the White House isn’t on the same page as the Secret Service. Hmmmm. Scottie McClellan says the Denver Three are just playing politics (as if being banished wasn’t political) and there is no need to comment further.

If the Secret Service has been compromised, that doesn’t deserve comment? Could it be Scottie-boy is a bit worried that the conversation will shift back to the Jeff Gannon Follies? Stay tuned.

Just finally getting around to posting on the show!

Thanks Winter Patriot for doing a remarkable job on the blog during the show — and for giving me a call when I needed you most! Let’s check in each week, huh? You know the number!! I’d like to thank a gentleman by the name of Ray who also called to give feedback, which was very helpful!!

Engineer Gregory did a masterful job under the circumstances with technical issues we’d experienced before, although nothing communication with the network could not fix. Thank goodness. It was a problem we’ll be sure not to overlook next time! Brad and Gregory are both smooth operators, I tell ya!! What a pleasure to work with these guys!

Larisa and Desi — thanks for your input and assistance!! Greatly appreciated.

Did we have great guests or what!?! Pleasure to meet you John in-studio — thanks for being our first studio guest. Always something new on The BRAD SHOW.

      Kira — you are awesome!!!

Thanks to all of you for your patience and feedback, and incredible support.

Missed you this week, Jaime and Eddie!

Until next time!! Or maybe sometime in between.
