All,
Remember what this is all about: Your Constitutution.
Challenge the nation to see that the issue is not one of ideology, but of law.
The choice is simple. Between your constitution and a tyrant. It is irrelevant whether you are conservative, independent, or liberal.
We are Americans. Under one Constitution.
Be ready to embrace the RNC-defectors as you join forces to preserve your document.
Keep this mind as you discuss the Downing Street Memo, the follies on the Judiciary Committee, voting, and the well-deserved mocking of those who choose tyranny over your Constitution.
You’ve already won in 1776. The only issue is how long it tkaes the tyrant’s allies understand he remains a threat to all they value.
Enjoy the show as they are defeated. And rightfully so. You outnumber them. And they are afraid.
As anyone should be on the eve of their demise. Be brave and relish your continuing victory. It is well deserved and well respected.
Hi Constant, Brad, WP, everyone. This one looks very promising.
This is going to be a great show! I’m very excited about the guest line up. Schultz is a great Congresswoman! Yay! And David Cobb I’m excited to hear.
Hey everybody! Let’s Rock & Roll — Go Brad Go!
Good job Winter! Looking forward to blogging with you & everybody tonight.
Is the sound cutting in and out for anybody else like it is for me?
OK guys, Nice to see you here tonight — let’s get ready to rumble!
Tonight’s first guest will be VINCENT FRY. He’s the Executive Director of the DNC Voting Rights Institute, and he will join Brad to talk about the report released this week, "Democracy at Risk: The 2004 Election in Ohio", which has been discussed on this very blog, right here.
Hey Brad,
While you have Rep Wasserman Schultz on the phone, see if you can play that clip of that dipshit Rep Putnam presiding over a voice vote. He said the "No’s" have it when clearly the majority voted Yes. You might hear one person saying No.
http://movies.crooksandliars.com/putnam.mp3
It’s from the Crooks and Liars site. I understand John Amato from C and L is going to be on tonight. They’ve been doing a great job over there.
By the way, the vote was on whether the tax payers or United Airlines should pay for United’s default on their pension fund.
Guess what? Putnam agrees with the one guy who says the tax payers should eat the cost.
Unfortunately, I’m only going to be off-and-on tonight: family crisis. Great lineup!
Is anybody else having static problems with the feed?
We must shine a light on the darkness created by the Bush administration. Truth is their enemy. so we must continue to speak ,write and shout the truth until the shadow of their deceptions are expunged from America.
The sound is cutting out for me too.
Not sure why it’s cutting out…Working on it…Let us know if it clears up!
I’m having sound problems too…on EVERY format. This has never happened to me before.
It’s cutting out every few seconds for me also.
The IBC feed is OK…it’s just Brad’s feed.
Holy crap Brad you sound like inhaled helium. The sound is cutting in and out too.
Now it is cutting out and Brad sounds like a chipmunk! What is going on?
The feed is in super high fast forward for me….anybody else?
Sam me too!! This feed is on fucking crack!!!
Very fast feed
It sounds like chipmunks talking on my end, the audio is very fast
The neocon chipmunks have taken over!!!
Damn them!
Damn them to hell!!!
Same here. Very strange.
Bradblog brought to you by alvin and the chipmunks.
The chipmunks!
Alvin Simon Theodore!!!
Someone is transmitting on our wavelength.
Thank you from Alvin, Simon, and Theodore.
Haha! I’ve just gotten my computer back online — looks like everybody’s having trouble.
Damn yellow chimpmunks.
Hey Peg C. – all the best wishes for you tonight. We’ll be sending good thoughts your way.
Brad,
Please ask David Cobb about the Voter Confidence Resolution and Houston. Thanks.
Chipmunks seem to be fixed but cut outs are still happening.
Okay Brad, fun’s over!! LOL!!
Seriously, the rest of the show will be PERFECT. Everybody say that and believe that, okay?
It’s back to normal now but still cutting out.
I wonder who or what is responsible for this!
Back on track.
This is the funniest tech problem you’ve had, at least.
Ok, voices are normal but it’s still cutting out
Still cutting in and out.
Sound still cutting out for me.
Question:
What is Vincent Fry’s take on Hocking county and Sherole Eaton incident involving the Triad technician?
Why wasn’t a proper investigation done on that?
This guy has his head in the sand.
What the DNC wanted to do is whitewash the fraudulent 2004 stolen election and they have been successful in that endeavor. Thanks but no thanks, for all your help dems…
{that’s it, asshole! you are done here!}
Do not let this guy have the frame of disenfranchisement and/or fraud. Bottom line: unverifiable votes that can’t be recounted, and votes counted in secret ensure inconclusive outcomes – there is no basis for confidence in the results reported. If we can’t expect unanimous agreement about election results then the system is not worth using for an election.
Working on the tech prob…not sure where it’s from. Thanks for hanging in there!
I missed just about all of the first two segments. The commercial feed is working fine but Brad is still dropping out every 2 or 3 seconds. Is there anybody who isn’t having problems?
Right on, Torqued!
Question — who chose the members for the DNC voting rights institute? Were they bought off????
{troll removed}
I disagree with this guy. There were definitely enough anomalies and incidents in Ohio that rise to the level of fraud in my opinion.
Did this DNC report investigate why Warren County said the FBI issued a terror alert warning while votes were being counted. They ended up kicking the media out, when they counted the votes but the FBI said they issued no such warning.
In my opinion, there was significant fraud in Ohio, Florida and potentially New Mexico and North Carolina. They wanted to recount in New Mexico, but Democratic Governor Bill Richardson killed it. He’s another punk.
http://www.votersunite.org/electionproblems.asp
Read the incidents reported in Ohio and Florida you will blow your freakin top!!
Peg C #9 – sorry to hear that. Prayers and light to you and your family.
Sam #10 – Yes! Darkness can not exist where there is light! We ARE the lightworkers and we are here at this time to win this battle over darkness! How many here were born in the ’50’s? This is our destiny. The old-energy of the dark ones is dying.
The commercials sound perfect. Rest of the show will be too!! Make it so!
Couple of issues that might be interesting to tie into the discussion at some point.
Feedback from GITMO
House yesturday had a tour of GITMO. Wondering how the reuslts of their findings get flowed into Congressional reviews. [ More . . . ]
Congressional role
Also, Senate Judiciary Chairman reminded us that it is Congress that defines the rules about captures on land, not the President. [ More . . . ]
How would the Congress and Judicial Committee respond if the States decided to define some specific rules imposing sanctions on committee members if they fail to ensure oversight occurs, and the Congress [not the President] is the one that defines the rules of war.
If the Congress chooses to say, "We don’t have to listen," is the Minority in the Judiciary Committee willing to support the States in a Constitutional Convention and appropirate modernizations for the Constitution to ensure appropriate sanctions remain in place at the State Level to impose disciplien at the Federal level?
{troll removed}
Brad,
Did you ask him about the Conyers report? About what Fitrakis and others have uncovered? Did they look at these things or was it "from scratch" — which would be stange.
(Couldn’t hear the chipmunk dialogue.)
The IBC feed is fine. It’s just Brad’s feed…awfully hard to listen!
It seems to be going fine for me now! Hopefully it’ll stay this clear.
Thanks for allowing Vincent Fry to show his ass on our fraudulent elections Brad. We now know who the enemies of the American people are. Lets get to work.
{troll removed}
It is obviously impossible for me to post anything without a typo.
Finally working…for now.
He didn’t investigate Hocking county!!!!!
WTF???!!!!
Unbelievable!!!!!!
Jen #50 –
Thanks!
Ah, it’s cutting out again. Blah! I hope to hear Mr. Cobb though. I’m excited about that.
This guy’s a loser. Don’t let him slide Brad!!! Get Conyers. I really wish someone did a report on election ’04 in Florida beside Bev Harris.
LOL!! Good question Brad!! If you had found evidence of fraud would you have reported it?
Uh, I like to think we would! OMG!!!
{troll removed}
Did that last seg clear up, guys? Or still dropping out?
Vincent Fry should stop apologizing and tell the truth.
Thanks for taking my question, BTW Brad!
The Democrats response to this issue is pathetic. Truly pathetic!!!
It started cutting out towards the end. I don’t think the problem is fixed.
This is a total, slimy whitewash! Slug-slime mixed with unmentionables…
In the second hour, Brad will speak with JOHN AMATO of Crooks & Liars, about Operation Yellow Elephant and Video Blogging in the Free World!
Thanks to Vincent Fry for speaking out in public and showing us what his party is all about.
No, the feed problem is definitely not fixed.
It’s been cutting out for me throughout the show. And there was that chipmunk bit at the bottom of the hour. The commercials seem ok tho! 8P
The frequent pauses are like listening to someone with hiccups. Hope it clears up.
And yeah, nobody reported votes flipping to Kerry because Bush won! Ha! Whitewash.
We got the Fry guy whitewash on tape now. Thanks Brad, this was a very critical interview!
{get lost, asshole!}
Re: cutting out
Windows Media is working fine for me now. Just to let you know, in case you want to try.

I can’t wait for this next bit: John and Brad will be great together …
But if anyone gets bored during the next break, you can always wander over to Democratic Undergound and KICK this THREAD
Knowledge is Power … Pass It On! … and The Whispering Campaign continues …
TECH PROBS…Apologies! Stand by…trying to fix!
Brad, thanks for mentioning the Warren County lockdown! I just downloaded the full report in pdf from the DNC website and no mention of Warren County is to be found. These people can’t be serious. It’s like they’re playing to lose.
Dead air.
Uh, oh!
Dead air.
No Brad. No neocon chipmunks. Nothing.
maybe they’re just whispering!
Silence. Why doesn’t Jim get a life? Saturday night and no date, eh?
Hang on…We’ll be back up shortly! Apologies!
Brad, thanks so much for everything. You Rock. Keep up the heat.
#83–
The dems are in on the fix. Period. They have made that clear repeatedly. But no one is paying attention.
Except us…
Where AAAARE you? Gosh, the last two went so well…
re #90 My Oh My! Are we EVER paying attention!
Tastey wires! Yummy!
The silence is deafening.
You need a screwdriver Brad? I can be there in a minute with my tool box…just say the word.
The New Bill of Rights
While we’re waiting, why not visit this website: thenewbillofrights.com. It’s a bit of a misnomer; the author has a new amendment in mind. Rather than restricting individual rights as some want to do (flag burning, marriage), he proposes restricting those of the government. This guy seems to be on the right track.
The government shall not mandate:
"What free adults can or cannot eat, drink or smoke,
Whom we’ll marry,
If and when to give birth,
When or how to die."
I really want to know — who picked the guys for this DNC Voting Rights Institute? Anybody know?
Surely they’ve been bought off or threatened.
We’re having WIENIES for dinner (actually veggie dogs) and it’s so appropriate!!! Vincent Fry does not represent the SPINE we need so desperately from the Dems. Dang jellyfish.
Yaaayyyy!!! Just got home. (Lost origonal post)
Wahhh…no sound.
Echo that Colleen! I just got to sit down after making supper and — Wahhhhh no sound :pouts:
Hang in there Brad et al!!
Resistance is Futile …..
Kira: Tsk. Tsk. How many vegies did you have to kill?
#83–
The dems are in on the fix. Period. They have made that clear repeatedly. But no one is paying attention.
Except us…
I’m beginning to believe this too. There is no way that DNC report was complete.
Also, there had to be some democrats involved in rigging the Florida 2000 vote too. I think the democratic party needs to be scrapped and rebuilt. I really hope Dean can make it happen.
If not, I think we should just build the Greens. I’m tired of these fixed elections and traitorous dems telling we should just accept the results and get along. The discrepancy between exit polls and actual votes here in 2004 were larger than what they were in the Ukraine.
They had a re-vote there while we inaugurated the idiot boy for four more years of war and incompetence.
"This is how the republic dies to thunderous applause"
Never mind about Fry and the whitewash.
CURIOSITY will kill the neocons.
Maybe it is time to massively jump into the Green-boat. Last election we felt obligated to join the larger, more established party, but HELL — the Green’s & Libs were the only ones working on the Election Fraud issues.
Now this country is run by Skull ‘n’ Boners Dread Pirate Robbers (apologies to "Princess Bride".)
At least we can still hear the commercials. 8P
Is the show still being recorded for tomorrow’s replay, or will it also be dead air in hour 2…?
The Democratic party is officially irrelevant.
yes the show is being recorded so you can hear it all tomorrow!
I found vincent fry and his election fraud whitewash to be as reprehensible as the neocon version of events.
To all you party loyalist naysayers, it’s just us now people. It was always just us.
Their house of cards is falling… http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/200...turkeytribunal
re #103 Yes, Kira, and if you recall, the Greens were also running an ANTI-WAR candidate!
The failure of the democrats stand up against the war told me all I needed to know about them. Sorry, guys. Howard Dean won’t even speak out against the madness anymore. So what hope is there for his party?
Rock On, David Cobb!
… the preceding has been a non-partisan announcement on behalf of all humanity …
Hope the entire rest of the show isn’t like this! There’s Avacor, IBC feed. But will Brad come back?
I can hear him John and Brad but it’s cutting out.
Yea, Brad is back!
How about a click or two for our sponsors:
OpTruth.Org
Voters Unite dot Org
Yay John Amato!
It’s great to hear Brad and John!! Finally!!
Torqued #107 –
They are MORE reprehensible, because they are traitors to their own!
Cutting out again…
Hooray for yellow elephants!
Should we all just jump, massively, onto the Green omnibus?
snip from link at #79…
"The point is simply this: do not be misled into believing that elections are reliant upon technology which can be manipulated. The real question of whether there “are sufficient and proper safeguards to make it highly improbable?” And the answer to that is yes. It may be possible to do many things, but like time travel (which is theoretically possible), it is highly unlikely at this time."
"The ability to manipulate an election with DREs, combined with election practices and procedures, means it is highly unlikely to be able to do this and get away with it. You can still manipulate an election easiest with hand-counted paper ballots."
cpl. bill has my vote.
It is our Constitution the dems and neocons are after. Keep your eye on the target folks, this will be a very long fight.
Pledge your allegiance to no one, nor to any party. Pledge your allegiance to the Constitution. It’s all we will ever have.
Jen #118
Gak!
Which link is this snip from?
Torqued, you speak the truth. I’m not much for organizations of any kind.
Cheney rushed to hospital. from Huffington
I would encourage more defections from the RNC and fucus on something positive, as opposed to being anti-RNC/anti-DNC; need more than platitudes and "parotting principles not practiced".
How about a pro-Constitution Party, something orignal like a "Constitutional Party."
Either way, need to focus on something constructive, positive, and being "for" something; and demonstrate constitutional solutions/resuilts.
LOL at that clip! "I’m scared for him"
The pie faced bastard
We need something like instant runoff voting to break the stranglehold of the two wings of the Property Party…. Otherwise third parties, such as the Greens, haven’t got a prayer.
#124 Constant —
Lets do it.
I was always an independent until I registered dem last year, for obvious reasons. The C"Constitution Party" sounds just right.
I had no problem hearing the last 2 segments.
Sound probs fixed finally?
Hey, when are they going to pressure the Bush twins to sign up for Iraq?
re #126
Richard 23
You got that right!
We’ll have more to say about Instant Runoff Voting … some day or another!
The government hired a PRIVATE company!
sounding good now, Brad!
Bring on David Cobb!!!!
There is already a "Constitution Party." Look here, too.
The Constitution Party
The Constitution Party holds that American laws have origin in the Holy Bible. It advocates a stricter adherence to what it views as the original intent of the United States Constitution and the principles of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. It has a strict approach to moral and personal issues, especially homosexuality and abortion, and seeks to encourage the role of religion in American life.
Uh, yeah. Theocratic Party, perhaps.
Kira #118 – it’s mindblowing…
Here’s the trail: There’s an Action Alert from votersunite.org about the "Election Center’s Annual National Conference" in Beverly Hills sponsored by Sequoia, Diebold and ES&S.
That alone is sickening enough, but from there is a link to Election Center which is where the excerpt is from – scroll down to the word document "DRE’s and the Election Process"
No elections counted on machines in which the company has ties to either party.
1) Pres of Diebold pledged to deliver Ohio’s electoral votes to the idiot boy
Most of the electronic machines in Ohio aren’t Diebold, but they count a large amount of votes country wide.
2) Sen Chuck Heagle was head of a voting machine company. Said company sold machines to Nebraska and he gets elected on these same machines.

Thanks Jen!
Sound’s cutting in/out again. Interesting.
Thank you Larisa for the breaking news!
Thanks to our newest sponsor, HeretikInc.com. You can check out their innovative designs here.
# 125, # 128
They key is not simply to remain focused. It is to stay focused on the Constitution and prevail. I had some other thoughts. [ More . . . ]
Hooray David Cobb! Thank you for your hard work on Election Fraud in Ohio & elsewhere. Welcome!
Parties can be fluid, particularly in times of necessary change like these. The Progressive Dems and the Greens have more in common than the Progressive Dems and the MS Dems – right? And there is without question a true community conservative element to the Green outlook. Shouldn’t get stuck in terminology with all kinds of baggage. which is what generally happens. What do we believe? Maybe it’s time for a "Great Awakening" – politically.
Stream cutting in and out again.
That’s right David tell it!!! Kerry punked out. I no longer have confidence in our elections anymore either.
You folks thinking about jumping on the Green wagon PAY ATTENTION here!!
# 135, # 136
Richard,
Good catch. That would tend to support #142: In that "creating a new party" is secondary to the primary goal: Ensuring this tyrant is brought under the Constitution.
See also #1 in this blog.
WooHoo! Speak the Truth, David Cobb
I just found some e-mail from Brad which he sent about an hour ago and in which he asked me to apologize for all the technical difficulties.
Oh well … better late than never!
re #149 YOU GOT IT, KIRA!
The Coalition of Disgusted Americans
Breaking up pretty badly…too bad, because Cobb is so very pertinent.
Welcome to totalitarianism.
Arry #144 – Agree! This is why I support General Clark. Progressive very liberal Dem – most of his life he was Independent. His stance on every issue is totally in line with my beliefs.
I’m going to burn this interview onto CDs and pass them out — WOW, WOW, WOW!
A few questions for Cobb if you have time– why did Kerry Fold, what happened to the Kerry money, and does he see Kerry being challenged for his Senate seat? Has he talked to Kerry? Has he asked Kerry about Blackwell?
Also — is there any truth to the idea that Congresspeople get TARGETS on their backs? Is there truth to the idea that some of them have been THREATENED for stepping out of line according to the regime in power now?
continuation of #154 – we’ve been sending General Clark excerpts from an election fraud book ms in la (a Clarkie) is working on, getting him up to speed on the origins of Diebold, ES&S and Sequoia. He’ll know as much as we know by the time we’re done with him!
The fact the Dean isn’t saying anything is really sad. Kerry, not so surprising, but Dean???
Belated thanks to John Amato from Crooks & Liars
Brad: you’ll have to have him on again sometime when the gremlins are a little bit less active!
Sen Hagel was head of ES&S. When he won, he was the first Republican Senator elected in Nebraska in 24 years. I don’t give a crap if he criticizes the idiot boy publicly. He still votes with his agenda and I’m beginning to think he has no problem stealing elections himself.
http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0301/S00166.htm
re #157 YES Kira it’s how they do things.
The ghost of Paul Wellstone haunts every elected official in the land.
re #161: oops! That came out wrong. Let’s put it this way: the memory of Wellstone’s murder casts a heavy burden on a great many people.
WP, re:#157 — would David Cobb want to address that question? (or does it matter?)
Oh god — could someone write what Brad just said about the breaking news @ Raw Story? I missed it ….
Allright, RAW Story!!!
Keep the DSM in the fore!!!
It will eventually be the neocons undoing!
Jim Baker’s a total scumbag
Blogs can be the mediam to save free speech in America!
Yaaayyy!!!
BECOME THE MEDIA.
re #164 I will try … Michael Smith says Larisa may have found a "smoking gun" in the form of an old interview with an air force officer [?] who admitted that the so-called "spikes of activity" [illegal bombing runs from mid-2002 until the spring of 2003] were intended as preparation for the ground war [which began in spring 2003] … or something like that … 😉
some additional facts to Nonbeliever’s #160 on Hagel: (snip from ms in la’s book "Who’s Counting"
…Senator Chuck Hagel, former E S & S Chairman (AIS at the time, just prior to the buyout), was running the company in 1995 that would count his votes in his amazing surprise victory in 1996 – the first Republican Senate winner in Nebraska in 24 years! Local papers called it a “stunning upset.” It was his first race for the Senate; he had been living out of state for 20 years, and was running against Nebraska’s popular former Governor, Ben Nelson. Nelson was leading in the polls by 65% to 18%, yet Hagel came from behind and won at 56%.
Kira #157 –
I gathered right after the "election" that Kerry’s brother informed a questioner that one of Kerry’s daughters had been threatened.
re #170 more on that later I promise
Mick Smith is saying that:
There is a whole other story that no one noticed and makes reference to it, but I am not breaking the story until Monday, so I cannot be on to comment.
In the meantime, in the same article, Mick gives kuddos to bloggers and mentions ADS as leading the fight on DSM.
"Last week one US blogger, Larisa Alexandrovna of RawStory.com, unearthed more unsettling evidence. It was an overlooked interview with Lieutenant-General T Michael Moseley, the allied air commander in Iraq, in which he appears to admit that the “spikes of activity” were part of a covert air war.
From June 2002 until March 20, when the ground war began, the allies flew 21,736 sorties over southern Iraq, attacking 349 carefully selected targets. The attacks, Moseley said, “laid the foundations” for the invasion, allowing allied commanders to begin the ground war.
The bloggers may have found their own smoking gun."
That is my story for Monday, so it might turn out to be smoking water gun at that point since by then someone will snatch it, but nice of Mick to point that out and he is one of the few MSM journalists who has integrity, honesty, and for whom I have a great deal of respect.
Here is the article Brand I and I talked about:

OK, Winter P #171 –
I’ll hold you to it 😉
Wait, why did that paragraph appear twice? Blah… here is link:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-1669292,00.html
Wow! Thank you, Larisa, and KUDOS to you. You really ROCK!!
Thanks WP for giving me the gist. My sound is still in/out occasionally.
Peg C. #170, I had heard that, too. If that’s true, I don’t hold it against anyone for not wanting to endanger their family members.
Back to Larisa — I hope it doesn’t turn into a "smoking water gun." We’ve had too many hosers turning on us over the last 5 years.
Winter #168:
How many smoking guns do Americans already have with the DSM?
I mean, really!!
The Tootsie pop center is exposed.
No more licking should be required.
Tangentially (#163), Scott Ritter believes The US War with Iran has Already Begun.
Considering the covert ops going on in Iraq long before the war officially began with "Shock and Awe," Scott may not be far from the truth.
Nelson was leading in the polls by 65% to 18%, yet Hagel came from behind and won at 56%.
Un-friggin-believable!!!
Ohhh Kermie! We  you!
Thanks, Larisa! Wonderful work…and SO important!
Thanks Larisa! You ROCK!
Thanks guys, let’s hope no one now scoops me after two weeks of work on this with Mick’s help.
So you know what to do on Monday, stand by for delivery and spread.
And Kuddos to all of you because you are members of ADS because VR is a member of the group, that means he is talking about you.
Yes,… Ritter is correct as he has been thus far. If you go back to his statements about June, we have done that small part of process. The only reason things have not been more "speedy" as one would say, is because Bolton, they thought, would slide through.
Thank you David Cobb!
Great, great show, Brad, even with the glitches! Gonna check out votecobb.org right now. My disgust with the R’s & the D’s, which has been slowly growing like The Blob, is just about complete. Thank you for having David Cobb on!
I had never heard about instant runoff voting…need to learn more.
THANK YOU, BRAD! You da man.
re #177 SG I hear you LOUD and CLEAR … In fact, when the original leak of the DSM was released I didn’t even blog about it … because I already knew everything it said anyway!! And that was unfortunate because I was in the hot seat — guesting for Brad at the time — and it would have been a good idea to start a thread about it … at least!!
But as you may recall, it took a couple of prods from other people saying "come on WP this could be important. Couldn’t we at least have a thread about it?" before I started to think that maybe something in this DSM might be news to somebody.
These smoking guns have been out in the open for A LONG LONG TIME and I find it ridiculous and pathetic that we are still looking for more of them … no disrespect intended to those who are still looking, of course; that’s their job … the disrespect belongs elsewhere!
Today I voted in a statewide bond issue. There was only one thing on the ballot, the bond issue. It was a paper ballot. Vote ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, fold your ballot and you’re done.
This was supposedly the last all-paper ballot vote my state will ever have. I mentioned that to one of the poll workers and he thought it was terrific. He likes the electronic voting systems. They’re quick and easy.
I mentioned they could be hacked or just rigged and he simply didn’t believe it. He said he had had some computer-ish training and he simply didn’t believe it.
We have a long way to go to teach the public if even a poll worker is so ill-informed.
Hand-counting ballots may be bad, but having one guy who runs a company counting 40% of the nation’s ballots has to be worse. All the machines offer is speed and ease of voting. They’re more expensive.
What we need is transparency. There needs to be paper ballots for auditing purposes and if we have opti-scanners then the tallying software has to be publicly available for consideration. Even having paper ballots, but allowing privately held software in the machines which scan & tally their votes isn’t good enough.
We also have to ensure that all poll workers are dedicated to the party they’re supposed to be part of. We can’t have Dem poll workers who let Repubs run the show and fix the count.
As for #170… when Durbin tearfully apologized that was the first thing that came to mind. I didn’t hear that about Kerry’s daughter either – please tell!

Larisa, Bolton may get through on a recess appointment. I personally think it doesn’t matter if he tries to make a case to the UN or not.
The US’ credibility is officially shot when it comes to intelligence. I doubt even Britain will sign on to a coalition of the willing if we look for help against Iran. Blair couldn’t even get significant help from the shrub on help with aid to Africa, less than 3% of what Blair was asking for.
I was listening to Fox News the other day, they were trying to make a case that Bin Laden was in Iran now. I couldn’t believe my ears. They better not try it. I’m not letting myself get drafted in any bs war!!
Did you catch the news there? They’re talking about a "Fallujah Ambush" …
Pardon me?
Let’s talk about the Fallujah Massacre:
Fallujah Is The Model
and why we don’t hear anything about it

U.S. Rep DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ (D-FL) on Judiciary Committee Follies! Including Sensenbrenner’s abuse of power, the Patriot Act, Downing Street and more!
Jen #188 –
Winter P has said he’ll have more info later. My recall is hazy tonight.
Yeah, I agree.
No disrespect to anyone looking for more evidence supporting the fact that the President of the U.S. deceived congress to go to war. It also has the added effect of bringing everything else back into the fore.
But we should understand that it doesn’t get much better than WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE.
Spreading the word is the priority now.
Keep the DSM in the fore — I hope every blogger and non-blogger here follows this "protocol" now.
Belated thanks to DAVID COBB on behalf of ALL OF US!
The Fallujah MURDER, doncha mean?
Hey Brad,
great show, and gotta say, having David Cobb as a guest blogger is just awesome. Especially for me since I’m a Green. Thanks.
P.S. to Winterpatriot, you’re still far and away my favorite Bradblog guest blogger. Rock on!
Just so you know — our Green national organization is at http://www.gp.org, as David Cobb stated. If you do a Google search or similar and run across Green Party USA at http://www.greenparty.org – this is not the national organization. It is a dues-paying group not affiliated with Green Party of the United States.

MarkH,
Good points. Couple of questions that come to mind for all to consider:
* Would swifter, public penalties for voting fraud do the trick in reducing voter fraud?
* Would independent monitors from the EU or OAS or UN do the trick?
There’s a big disconnect in people’s minds when they read the constitution, hear the "big story" about America’s Democracy . . . but when you look closely it’s shambles.
I’d like to the see the US get its own act together; then it would be in a position to simply demonstrate the self-evident "benefits" of Democracy.
Actions and example do far more than lectures, especially when those lectures are based on lies as evidenced by the Downing Street Memo.

Joan, check out this primer on Instant Runoff Voting I mentioned in #126.
Larisa, I promised my Bush supporting father a war in Iran (for his birthday) based on Ritter’s story months ago. Looks like I’ll have to get him a card instead (unless we find about about covert ops after the fact). I’d heard about odd UFO sightings in Iran recently. Drones? Or just the paranormal? 8P
Those hiccups are back again, badly.
All,
If you’re looking for something to read about the Sensenbrenner situation I have written some thoughts on that. [More . . . ]
Brad, don’t forget about the clip from Putnam…
While you have Rep Wasserman Schultz on the phone, see if you can play this clip of Rep Putnam presiding over a voice vote. He said the "No’s" have it when clearly the majority voted Yes. You might hear one person saying No.
The vote was on whether or not tax payers should pay for United defaulting on their pension funds.

Those librarians would be subject to prosecution under the Patriot Act if they came forward. Thanks a lot, James "National ID" Sensenbrenner!
Sorry to cut into the next guest but I wanted to add my praise for David Cobb for everything he has done to promote progressive causes and to try to bring light to what really happened in Ohio in 2004. Great segment! Can’t help plugging the Brad Blog Blogathon by pointing out that David Cobb will be a "live" guest blogger for that event and will be available to answer our questions on line during the blogathon. Please help get the word out!
We will be trying to raise funds for Brad and all his worthy causes with this event.
Richard don’t you dare buy him a card! He’s got his war already!! If you don’t want to know anything about it, don’t read Scott Ritter: The War On Iran Has Started at please don’t read my blog
re #197 thanks to Supersoling for your very kind words.
Good job Lisa and Brad!!!
I heard this guy Putnam is related to Katherine Harris?
Great insight to the party of tyranny in the House. Thanks Debbie.
Hi Steve #206! There will surely be a line-up of folks who want to blog with David Cobb during the Brad Blogathon! Man — I can’t wait!
Thanks for reminding us!
Actually, while I’m at it, I should say that we are just as lucky to have Larisa Alexandrovna as a "live" guest blogger for the Bradblog Blogathon/Fundraiser. Check here for more details and here (Windows Version) and here (JPEG VERSION)for downloadable flyers, courtesy of Bradblogger Shadowtwinchaos (with assist from Torqued!). We will be announcing a few more great guest bloggers in the next few days as well.
Winter Patriot, about that war in Iran… it’s not on the teevee! Is something happening in Iraq? Dunno.
Yes, I’ve read Ritter’s recent piece. I’ll hold off on that birthday card (June 8). Heh.
Ooo The House is’a ROCKIN’!!! It’s the truth – great job, BRAD!
Thank you for taking your time to be here talking to us tonight, Representative Schultz, we truly appreciate it.
I mean the Neo-cons–not Repubs– are so BAD. The neo-cons have bullyed and insulted the Dems more than most citizens like us even know. The rules of conduct are are being totally abused. Hello? Wake the fuck up!
Richard: re it’s cool that you’ve read Scott Ritter, but have you seen the other stuff I mentioned in that post? Man!
The post in question is here.
There is just no comparison between the Green Party’s "10 Key Values" (from votecobb.org) and the slide of the democratic party into spineless non-response & irrelevance, just two of the low-points of which, for me, were kerry’s conceding & the Jan. 6th capitulation re Ohio’s electoral votes.
What I find hard is reconciling my respect for certain dems, like Conyers & Wasserman Schultz, with my disgust with the rest.
Thank you, Brad, for that response to Wasserman Schultz re "booting them out"…we’re supposed to do that by voting? Right….
"No interest in bi-partisanship. Only interest in total domination at every level."
She is on point.
One of Kerry’s daughters was threatned? Oh wow. 🙁 No wonder Kerry’s more silent on this and Dean probably knows he’ll be threatned too. I think the DNC purposley left out all the info we know because of the threats, "consperiacy theorists" etc. They’re still making a case that can be shown to get rid of the voting machine’s. The republicans have control of everything in the government and the media. Love the Schutlz interview.
"…not completely restored people’s confidence." THAT’S the understatement of the century! Hurray for her praise of Conyers!!
Great show, Thanks to all!
Thanks to U.S. Rep DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ!
Great interview!! We Want More!!
Congressman Conyers is a national treasure!!!
Please support our loyal sponsor, OPERATION TRUTH, at OpTruth.Org
Enlightening show!
Thanks again Brad, Winter & all!
Winter Patriot: I’ve read it now. Good stuff. Hadn’t heard about any bombings before.
Didn’t Bush suggest an Iraq exit strategy awhile back: through Iran? Or was that another funny joke, like when Bush searched the Oval Office for WMDs?
It’s hard to distinguish between satire, irony and reality anymore.
Thank you Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz! Wonderful interview…she is a gem.
re #218: Joan, does this inteview help you a bit? or a lot??
IMO there are plenty of good Democrats … but unfortunately they are not in control of their party!
Total Domination is what the reTHUGliCONS want — read this and see …
Dominionist Bill Limits the Supreme Court’s Jurisdiction
The Constitution Restoration Act of 2004 and Now 2005
By Katherine Yurica
February 19, 2004
[Editor’s Note: April 6, 2005: The Constitution Restoration Act of 2005 is virtually identical to the 2004 version; however the Bill numbers have been changed. The 2005 House bill is HR 1070 and the 2005 Senate bill is S. 520 you can view the new laws by clicking.
[Editor’s Note: August 7, 2004. We have incorporated a portion of Katherine Yurica’s article, "For Whom the Bell Tolls" to give reader’s of this article a more complete view of the potential damage this bill can wreak in American life.]
Editor’s Note: February 28, 2004 Update: This article omits one fact that should have been included: the bill was drafted by former Judge Roy Moore’s lawyer, Herb Titus. Those who have read The Despoiling of America will know that Titus was the first Dean of Pat Robertson’s School of Public Policy and is a known Dominionist who has advocated the abolition of the government’s licensing powers. He has argued that government oversteps when it licenses lawyers, doctors, teachers, etc. Also, an earlier bill titled "Religious Liberties Restoration Act," S. 1558 dated July 21, 2003, specifically authorizes the display of the ten commandments and other religious references and exempts such items from judicial review by the U.S. Federal Courts. Our question is: What is actually intended by the Constitution Restoration Act of 2004?]
We wrote about it before it happened, we called them by their own name, Dominionists, and we told you that Dominionists in Congress were about to fire their first guns for reformation of the American government.

Re: Kerry’s daughter. Perot said one of his daughters was threatened, too. Maybe he wasn’t a crackpot after all.
Thank you sooooooooo much Congresswoman Schultz!!
re @230 that’s a VERY IMPORTANT ARTICLE from a VERY IMPORTANT RESEARCHER … need I say more?
re #231 Richard … think back … WHO called perot a crackpot? … and what does that tell you?
OperationTruth reminds me: the doctor at the hospital this evening was just back from Afghanistan – he’s in the National Guard – and said how ROSY everything is there! I couldn’t believe my ears, but it wasn’t the time to discuss it seriously – unfortunately.
You guys really ROCK! Another wonderful night at the BradShow Rock-a-Thon!
Thanks Kat, Ed, Brad, Winter, and all you wonderful Bradvillers! And a special thank you to all the excellent guests tonight!
A warm and illuminating evening.
I just got a shout out!! 😛
Chipmunk and other technical difficulties aside….
Great show Brad!!!
Peg C #235 — did that doctor wander into the Poppy Fields perhaps?
Echo #237!!
Bradshow "Rock-a-Thon" 🙂 — I love it Kira!
Didn’t get to read enough here tonight as I was running around as chicken. With head. Cut off. Tech probs. Love them.
As ever…thanks for everything you guys do to support. It means the world.
Richard 23: (#227)
Here’s is the Bush pissing on 1700+ dead Americans comedy night for all that missed it.
Just can’t get it anywhere else. Thanks everyone!
Hey Brad – you always handle these mini-disasters with such aplomb.
Actually, Kira, that idea DID occur to me – he seemed a little flaky. 😉
Peg: Seeing how much the DoD liars lie to us, do you not think they lie to their own guys too? Afghanistan is a BIG country. A NG doctor would see his own unit and his own ER, but everything else he thinks he knows about the rest of the county would come from his usual propaganda sources.
Not meaning to be disrespectful … I read a lot of stuff at OpTruth and I love those guys but I think a lot of them are still mired in the spin.
Oh well … so are we all … such is the tremendous power of propaganda. We’d better start whispering really loud!
Right you are, Winter P #245!!!
This next program on ICBRadio is an interview with David Ray Griffin — I’m still listening!
You all are a blessing! Thank you Brad for creating this amazing place and thank you everyone who’s part of it! You ALL ROCK!!
Now, WP, about the Kerry daughters…
BIG THANK-YOUs tonight to Brad and all the crew in the studio, to all who listened intently [especially during the first half of the second hour], to those readers and listeners who dropped a few coins in the till, to all our fine guests, to our excellent sponsors … who did I miss?
Oh yeah! Thanks to STEVE for doing the bulk of the organizing for the Blogathon, and don’t forget: the blogathon starts in less than two weeks!
Got pajamas? Got beer? We should be ok!
Good night, everyone.
‘Night, WP – thanks for everything!
re #249 sorry, Peg … I really did mean "later" … I have to run but we will definitely get back to that one … maybe over at please don’t read my blog.
Thanks Brad F., Con Wasserman-Schultz, Mr Cobb, Mr Frey, Mr Amato
Peg C — are we gonna find out about the Kerry girls? WP? Did he just turn out the lights?
My post #254 went in before WP filled us in on what "later" meant!
Ok, we’ll just wait. What a tease.
David Ray Griffin just said 9/11 was planned and operated by our own government!
Thanks Kira, for the heads up on the David Ray Griffin interview on IBC. It’s probably more interesting than than Harry Browne’s Libertarian Conversation over on GCN (Genesis). I thought IBC was mostly paranormal stuff….
I like Genesis for the Alex Jones show and The Power Hour. They’re Christian Conservatives who slam Bush.
And then there’s Air America and KGO late night programming. No more TV for me.
Goodnight, all. Thanks, Brad.
Richard #257 – thanks for tip on Genesis – I’ll have to check that out. Yup – here’s where I get all my newsfeed from for about a year & a half now.

Torqued, you still listening? Man — I can’t see anything through all the smoke from all these smoking guns!!! Sheesh.
A cumulative argument, Griffin says.
Good links, thanks Richard.
Brad – What was the story from the St. Louis debate that
David Cobb was going to tell? Either I missed it or you guys ran out of time, can you write about it on your post show blog?
Also, what is the story about one of the Kerry daughters
being threatened?
Thanks to you, your guests, WP and everyone else.
David Ray Griffin was on Coast To Coast AM (with George Norry) recently. Alex Jones was also a guest. I’ve heard it was a really interesting discussion of 911.
Haven’t listened to it yet though.

Personally, I’m not much into crop circles!
Here’s an article about the dirty politics of bu$h operatives.
I’m not into crop circles either!
I recently got the book by Griffin – 9/11 Commission Omissions and Distortions. I need to read it.
I guess you’re aware of the speech Griffin gave on that book, Richard?
Here’s the link, just in case:
David Ray Griffin Speech on 9/11 Commission Report – Omissions and Distortions — Video
Kira: Reading the bu$h story. Listening to first hour of the Noory show now. Good so far.
I’ve listened to the audio of the speech Griffin gave that was shown on C-SPAN recently. Thanks for the video link.
Guns and Butter is an interesting show as well.
Thanks again.
RE: my #144 – I’ll follow Cobb’s suggestion… Perhaps, I was wrong to call certain Dems the MS Dems – maybe corporate elitist Dems would be more accurate. I get the feeling the "progressive" Dems may not be far from the mainstream. Greens actually often aren’t – contrary to conventional wisdom – as many of their positions have been shown to be quite popular. Who is in control is the problem. If people discover where their interests, traditions, and aspirations lie there very well may be an awakening. We have to get through the "noise machine."
Gee — I’ll copy all the links you provided, Richard. Thanks.
Well — I’m off now. See ya later!
Lemme see if perhaps he’ll write about the St. Louis Debate story when he guest blogs next week. Didn’t mean to leave that one hanging…Too many things to remember, not enough time, and damn tech probs tossed me off my game 🙂
Otherwise, look up St. Louis Debate and Cobb and see if it’s out there…or if it was ignored completely.
"Slap" — I meant to add – It was another fine show. Nothing like it. (Even the tech problems are unique!) Saturday night clarity in the midst of the media noise. Terrific work.
Arry #270 –
Ditto that.
Crop circles crowd: I’d be a bit wary of discounting ALL. It might not be "normal," but it may not be extraterrestrial either. Please see Rigorous Intuition.
There are plenty of tie-ins with Satanic ritual sacrifice, abduction and pederasty, cultish practices, the Franklin coverup and the lordly, holier-than-thou Bush family.
Anybody heard about this?
23rd June, 2005, Istanbul "The World Tribunal on Iraq (WTI) has been convened to bring international law to bear on America" aggressive behaviour around the world, with particular emphasis on the Iraq war. This represents an historic attempt by the people of the world to hold states and their leaders responsible for severe violations of international law. The Tribunal has both symbolic and substantive significance as a step toward the establishment of global democracy,’ said Richard Falk, UNESCO peace prize holder and Professor of International Law, at a press conference held today at Darphane-i Amire in Topkapi Palace Grounds. The World Tribunal on Iraq (WTI) will start tomorrow, June 24, at 09.00 am.

Re #272
Yes, I had heard of it. And about time too! Only it should include Britain right up there as well, since our prime minister was instrumental in going round europe drumming up support and unity for the policies of your president prior to the attacks on Iraq. In fact perhaps in the greater scheme of things our prime minister must carry greater blame since it was primarily he (whatever his real motives might have been) who helped make Americas behaviour seem more legitimate and reasoned and gave it a more eloquent voice.
Richard 23: (#263)
Thanks for the links!
I’ve been wanting to hear this particular show!
Once we get the neocons asses for their war crimes in Iraq, maybe we can find the truth about 9-11
Hi Donna … I agree with you up to a point … but it seems fairly clear to me that bush was going to wage war on Iraq with or without blair … legitimacy is nothing to the chickenhawks! And as a matter of fact, oh! what have we here? A smoking gun? Sure looks like one to me.
Hey how do you like this for a tag line: Knowledge is Power. Pass it on!
Who said crime doesn’t pay?
Tony Blair’s son Euan accepts US internship.
A smoking gun from November, 2003? Could anything better illustrate the cowardice of our mainstream media than for an admission by a leading neo-con that the invasion of Iraq was illegal to never get published in the United States?
Perle: "International law stood in the way of our doing the right thing."
Translation: "Obeying the law is wrong, unless the law happens to conform to what we want to do."
That’s tyranny, folks…almost a textbook example.
Winter & RLM:
Yeah. I was pushing that story when it broke a couple of years ago at The Guardian.
Most people yawned about it at the time.
Hopefully, it gets a second life now. Thanks for reminding us all, Winter.
O.K. I’ve just written a diary at Daily Kos about it. Maybe it will have more legs this time.
Why is there a gray box on post #217 ????????????
The gray box has appeared at other times as well.
What’s going on?
Thanks:)
Alison: maybe they don’t want you reading my blog 😉
Hi WP, I went to your blog and tried to post twice and nothing happened. Anyway your "Stress Position" commentary is excellent. I believe we are living under a fascist regime and that we should not be afreaid to use the f word.
Ok, now the gray box at #217 is an advertisement, but I still do not get why it’s on your post and I still want to know what happened with Kerry’s daughter.
Thanks WP you are great!
re #283 nice job, SG!
Is there any chance you could blog about the whispering campaign, either at please don’t read your blog, or at Daily Kos, or both?
I don’t mean to denigrate anyone’s efforts, but blogging to other bloggers is not gonna get us where we need to go. We need to push this information beyond the blogosphere. Knowledge is Power. Pass It On!
Winter (#287):
I already have mentioned the whispering campaign at:
Bellaciao
But, sure — I’ll put up a post / link / ad for it at NA and at DK — no prob.
I agree — we have all the evidence we need. We just need effective marketing campaignS.
THAT was interesting.
Half of my post was deleted!
{you forgot the quote at the end of the bellaciao URL: but I gotcher back! — WP}
O.K.
Winter (#287):
I already have mentioned the whispering campaign at:
Bellaciao
But sure, I’ll put a link / post / ad up at NA and I’ll make a diary at DK as well — no prob!
Alison #284:
I was all upset over the "gray box"/floating advertisement for awhile but learned that if it’s covering a post I want to read I can refresh the page and the floating box will move to a different part of the page.
I don’t know where it came from, it just appeared a few weeks ago for me.
Hope this helps! Have you tried posting at Winter’s site again? I don’t know how to help on that one!
Alison: sorry I don’t know what causes that problem but I will look into it. Thanks for your kind words.
Kira:
I’m getting it, too. Yes — when you refresh, the "censor block" moves.
Too bad we couldn’t use this solution with documents coming out of Washington!
Bizarre!
The other wonkey thing is what happened with my post on #288
WHAT THE!!!!!
IT’S BACK — IN FULL!!!!
Thanks Kira & WP, refresh worked. And I went back to
WP Blog and my post was there twice. I guess it just takes a while to show up.
Hope you all have a great Sunday. 🙂
CPB is spending some $4 million to $5 million of taxpayer moneys to put a broadcast on with the RIGHT WING editorial board of the Wall Street Journal !??!
BILL MOYERS: I would like for your audience of listeners, viewers, readers to besiege the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, PBS, and our stations, to get Democracy Now! as a regular broadcast in the programming of public television.
Brad I had a horrible time. You promised me sushi and I got White Castle. The make-up person didn’t have my black nail polish or Paul Mitchell and….lol…I had a great time. Thanks for having me on. I owe a lot to you and your generosity when I jumped in the blogosphere.
Haha! SG — you’re so entertaining with your quick wit! Yes, too bad we can’t "refresh" all those censored docs.
Thank you for all the great work you’re doing (and have already done) and for your persistence. Great job.
Alison – I’m glad the tip worked for you! I wonder where that "floating ad" command is ?? Brad – do you know?
Let’s blame some of it on those yellow-bellied chimpermunks.
Speaking of "Mock" elections!
Re: Bushw@cker — your link provided in #295
Rumsfeld says:
"I think leaving the American people with the impression that it was an election that was valid — there were over 1,000 candidates that were disqualified, that weren’t even allowed to run," Rumsfeld said.
"So the fact that they had a mock election and elected a hard-liner ought not come to any surprise to anybody because all the other people were told they couldn’t run."
Um — should someone tell Dumbsfeld that Cobb & Badnarik were prohibited from debating with Kerry & bu$h — not only that, but they were prohibited from attending the debates
Participating in Democracy is Illegal (Thanks, WP #273 for the link!)
COBB ARRESTED WHILE ENTERING ST. LOUIS DEBATE
"The real crime is the corporate hijacking of our democracy"
David Cobb, the Green Party’s presidential candidate, was arrested Friday night, October 8, 2004, in St. Louis for committing civil disobedience to protest the anti-democratic presidential debates which are restricted to participants from two political parties and sponsored by their corporate contributors.
The debates’ sponsor, the Commission on Presidential Debates, denied the Cobb campaign’s repeated requests to participate in the debates with Bush and Kerry and even denied Mr. Cobb’s request to attend the St. Louis debate as an audience member.
=========================
Ahem, Dumbsfeld … what was that again?
How many states wouldn’t put Nader on the ballot?
thanks to STOP_George re #289.
Today’s New York Times carried an article about the "Denver Three," who were denied admission to a Bush speech/photo-op because their car had a bumper sticker reading, "No More Lies." Some thug who was either a Secret Service officer or was impersonating one told them to take a hike.
Instead of raising a fuss, they left. But then they contacted the Denver office of the Secret Service, which told them it shouldn’t have happened, and that an investigation was underway to find out who the "phony" agent was. Meanwhile, their (Republican) congresswoman stood up for them and said, "This should not have happened." The three have been making appearances in D.C.
But the White House isn’t on the same page as the Secret Service. Hmmmm. Scottie McClellan says the Denver Three are just playing politics (as if being banished wasn’t political) and there is no need to comment further.
If the Secret Service has been compromised, that doesn’t deserve comment? Could it be Scottie-boy is a bit worried that the conversation will shift back to the Jeff Gannon Follies? Stay tuned.
Just finally getting around to posting on the show!
Thanks Winter Patriot for doing a remarkable job on the blog during the show — and for giving me a call when I needed you most! Let’s check in each week, huh? You know the number!! I’d like to thank a gentleman by the name of Ray who also called to give feedback, which was very helpful!!
Engineer Gregory did a masterful job under the circumstances with technical issues we’d experienced before, although nothing communication with the network could not fix. Thank goodness. It was a problem we’ll be sure not to overlook next time! Brad and Gregory are both smooth operators, I tell ya!! What a pleasure to work with these guys!
Larisa and Desi — thanks for your input and assistance!! Greatly appreciated.
Did we have great guests or what!?! Pleasure to meet you John in-studio — thanks for being our first studio guest. Always something new on The BRAD SHOW.
Kira — you are awesome!!!
Thanks to all of you for your patience and feedback, and incredible support.
Missed you this week, Jaime and Eddie!
Until next time!! Or maybe sometime in between.
SOGLASNO!
D’ACCORD!
I MOSTLY AG?REE.
