re: Texas “Voter impersonation is a phantom worry in Texas”
Am so glad these TX Senators are on the right track…but…
“If our colleagues who are intent on pushing photo ID requirements are serious about improving Texas elections, they’ll drop this nonsensical idea. Instead, they’ll come forward with proposals that truly protect the integrity of the democratic process like improving poll worker training (mistakes by poll workers account for the vast majority of election fraud, which really is no more than technical errors) and backing up electronic voting machines with a paper trail. We would happily co-sponsor such legislation.”
Backing up machines with a paper trail?
Good grief, these folks need an education, and fast! But, at least they seem to be trying anyway.
The comments posted by readers on the Chron website, shows just how idiotic many folks are.
