Thanks, Zelph! Looking forward to being met!
Should be a good show tomorrow, btw...But then again, I *would* say that, wouldn't I?

Wow! Broadcasting from a radio station that represents the grass roots movement to take back our airwaves. It's like hosting a show on sacred ground. Carry the flame high, I'll be listening or downloading for sure!

Good segment with Rep. Hinchey, Brad. I guess if it gets to the point of Bush vetoing the media reform or Fairness Doctrine legislation, we all have to make it a rough and educational veto so we can start again. We have to have a Fairness Doctrine in place.
The old discussion came up about "true conservatives" as opposed to the neocon talk radio greedheads and so on, something we talk about here frequently...Here's a quotation from Russell Kirk's "The Conservative Mind". Russell Kirk was one of the most highly respected conservatives and theoreticians of the conservative movement. He says, "'The Conservative Mind' describes a cast of intellect or a type of character, an inclination to cherish the permanent things in human existence....the folk called 'conservative' join in resistance to the destruction of old patterns of life, damage to the footings of the social order, and reduction of human striving to material production and consumption."
OK, that ought to put the "conservative"/neocon question to rest.

Breaking news! There might be a news story that CNN might look at that could be important when the next White House fax gives clues about a story that Cheney hasn't finished making up --- as we speak.
ha ha

Oh Gawd, Brad. That breathless CNN lackey...with nothing but fearmongering. What a joke. It's really unconscionable. Why even call this stuff "news" anymore? Cable Fear Network?, Cable Gasp Network? Cable Oh My God Network, Cable Boo! Network?

I still think Barbara Starr is either cross dresser or a hermaphrodite. . . . .
there must be something going on down there.
Werewolf (Blitzer) reach down and see if anything is there ! ! !

Thanks for the link, Kira. I didn't know about Blitzer's background. I can't say I'm surprised. A few ignorant nuts with a lot of money can be a very dangerous thing, it appears. And everybody seems to be incestuously related.

Did they walk upright? Probably not then. There used to be only a few hootens around (especially on the net). Now there are bunches hanging by their tails everywhere!
