That is to say;those speakers you posted were good, most of the others were awful. Sadly if this is representative of what we have to fight Bush with, we are doomed. I am going to start practicing my goose step now.

Question: does anyone know of a site that I can go to to get a live feed on the march? Also any place I can get some comments from those in the march? I keep looking for something on the blogs and can't find anything.

Just got back from my local Sept 24th peace rally (not DC) and got an outstanding idea from a man who gave handouts on 4" X 5-1/2" papers (type four of 'em on an 8"x11" sheet and cut 'em into 4 handouts per sheet). Of course, keep handing these out AFTER the rally and march too! Content>>>

Just a couple of comments: the cables are too busy covering Rita and NOLA again to devote time to the rally. Good timing for Bush and FOX I guess. As for Mr.Galloway, does THIS surprise anyone other than me?

Thanks for posting these great videos! I've been constantly searching other media for more coverage of this event, MSNBC, CNN, CNN Headlines, I'm appalled by the fact that not one of them have broadcasted this. Not even a mention of it. Not even on CNN Headline news! Whom are suppose to be broadcasting "HEADLINE" News! Can't believe it. Again Thanks!

Hundreds of soldiers back from Iraq are protesting. I didn't see statements from them. There are several huge stories from soldiers breaking in the next week. Soldiers are going to be the thing that tears the administration apart.
Soldiers families don't want their members forced either to watch and/or participate in rampant sadistic abuse, or lay their military careers, freedom or even lives on the line to stop it.
You can hear some leading antiwar soldiers talk about the war now at

Thank you for your coverage of this event... But were there any conservatives, Republicans, or libertarians including in today's activities?
This is my blog entry from January 18, 2003, which was a day of protesting against the Iraq war. I hope that things have changed since then, with respect to the composition of these antiwar events and activities... but I fear that they may have not.

I was there.
It took easily TWO hours to walk 2 blocks. This was an ordeal because of the number of people,...despite the delays and power "outages".
What in the world does it take to get the MSM's attention? The speeches were actually too many and too long. Everyone wanted to march now!
I'm an average guy. 50'ish and walked with some other locals that I met along the way, who are all ages and
VERY ORDINARY people! This was not a crowd of the freakish socialist workers party. In fact, the more radical elements were disdained a bit. It was ordinary people who are fed up with the war.
Please, stay on top of this and help other bloggers to get their shit together.

Get rid of them? Fat chance......not until we force Congress to work for us. And that takes lobbying, protest, pickets and more!
The whole congressional leadership is a FARCE. Not one, not even of the "leader" democrats was at this rally.....of over 600,000.
That tells you everything you need to know....These guys are completely corrupt. We need to force BOTH parties to do their job!!!!
And the war ain't over until we do just that!!!!!!!

Also what the hell is going on with these "patriots" !?!!
http://www.crm114.com/pr...t/altimages/DSC00034.jpg Freepers hold up patriotic flags
Freepers shout "Yay for Iraq war!"
What the HELL is wrong with these young fools!??!??
DO ALL THE FREEPERS, MOST OF WHICH WHO ARE NOT ABOVE 29 GET THEIR NEWS FROM FOX?!?!
And there they are......WHINING in front of the headquarters about the Iraq war!!!!!!! These guys have truly been duped, LOL!!!!!!

I was one of the fortunate 100,000+ to be in Washington, DC yesterday for the march. It was a wonderful experience to be in the midst of an "ocean" of people passionate for a change in this administration's horrific policies. Such diversity! Young, middle-aged, old, black, white, and more. I walked behind a blind man tapping his way with a cane at one point! ! A highlight for me, personally, was the wave of sound of voices raised that would start somewhere in the group and then roar through the crowd like a tidal wave of energy. It happened several times and each time is was so electrifying. Yes, "this is what democracy looks like!"

Americans, have the freaking guts to recognize the "elephant in the living room" called AIPAC! Stop participating in the rape of your country and the use of its fathers, sons, mothers and daughters and billions of tax dollars for Zionist schemes. Both parties are corrupt to the core and owned by foreign (Israel) and corporate interests. Here's why there was only one Congresswoman in attendance at the rally...
September 24, 2005 --- Anti-war protest in Washington, DC today. Very few Democratic members of Congress to appear. Reason: The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), according to Democratic insiders on Capitol Hill, put out the word that any member of Congress who appeared at the protest, where some speakers were to represent pro-Palestinian views, would face the political wrath of AIPAC. According to Democratic sources on the Hill, Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts was the chief conveyor of the AIPAC warning to his colleagues. At the time of this report, three members of Congress were to address the anti-war protestors: Reps. Cynthia McKinney (D-GA), John Conyers (D-MI), and Lynn Woolsey (D-CA). The word is that AIPAC will direct its massive campaign support to Woolsey's neo-con and pro-Iraq war primary challenger, California State Assemblyman Joe Nation, who has strong connections to the Rand Corporation, one of the Pentagon's chief war-making think tanks. Woolsey represents California's Marin and Sonoma counties.

I am old enough to remember the sixties and the grassroots movement to inspire positive change. Along with my son who is an Iraq war veteran/casualty we saw america at its best on Saturday. The fact that the media was uninterested should reinforce for once and for all that the masses stand together, alone. I am inspired that good will succeed and the evil of bushco will lose. I am still fighting the good fight and happy I no longer fight alone. If not for these video clips I would not have seen Cindy and the Rev. Jackson or Galloway, Mckinney...Thank you. Peace!

Look past Galloway's gift for gab, he is bad for the anti-war movement. He is bad for those who will be working to make some REAL changes (not just clever posters) in 06 and 08. The right will pin his face on the whole movement and it will look much worse than making m.moore the posterchild in 04.
Look into this creep and then distance yourselves for the good of the US and the defeat of evil.
