It was a good show Monday, but while I did watch the President and then Boehner, I was mostly irked on this: Since when does the opposite party get their own presidential-appearing address to trash the real president? It was disgusting and I felt it was no different than having Bin Ladin or some foreign enemy having airtime to trash the U.S. President. They USED to have a panel after presidential addresses which might include the House Speaker, but not this alternate reality president performance.
I think what the Obama/Biden Administration is doing is genius. The way I see it, President Obama is giving the Republican monkeys enough rope to hang themselves. Eventually Conservatives are going to snap out of their cult stupor and realize Republicans aren’t representing the best interests of the American people.
