The above link should clarify the role of Water Vaper and Climate and briefly esplains how climate change deniers misrepresent the signifance of water vaper over CO2.
Congrats on cornering the County Clerk with your questions about considering implementation of hand counted paper ballots at the precincts; I felt like you were shining a light on a major cockroach infestation. The hemming and hawing about the county being too large was borderline comical, and classic Rovian talking points– county size has no bearing on the HCPB process as long as precinct size is limited to 1000 – out of which usually only 10-40% show up to vote in any given election. HCPB at the precinct level is the most efficient and certainly the least costly and greenest way to handle our elections and…what are we waiting for??!!
i love you brad. i wish you were on a regular radio show or better yet… a tv show. i always look forward listening when mike goes on vacation, and yet i love mike. keep it up
” I felt like you were shining a light on a major cockroach infestation”
I just downloaded last night’s show. Can’t wait to hear Dean Logan — he of the major cockroach infestation.
If we can bank on line and be secured, traced & verified, why can’t we vote on line? We could still have voting places for people without computers.
Taylor Pierson –
Because, unlike with banking, in elections we have a secret ballot. So, unlike with banking, there is no way to verify later that the “transaction” was accurately recorded. The only way to counteract that problem is to assure 100% overseeable transparency every step of the way.
Hope that makes sense. For that reason, Internet voting in democratic, secret ballot elections is impossible and/or insane, unless you want to trust in some guy and/or hacker from some private company to tabulate the results. That amounts to 100% faith-based elections.
No thanks.
