   Peace is the way forward for him…forward toward people not fighting against everything he stands for. “I’m for people not fighting against me” just doesn’t have the same ring to it that “I’m for peace” has.

   He should have said “Oil, we don’t need no stinking oil.”

   Wolfowitz to iraq: You give us your Oil, we’ll give you some Peace. It’s a great deal. Only a shmuck would pass up this deal! Whaaat, don’t wait, if you don’t take it now, we’ll be offering the same deal to Iran! Whaaaat, don’t give me that look, Iraq, I’m your pal: China is not going to give you a better deal than me … C’mon, it’s a blessing, and a limited time offer: you’d be a real shmuck for refusing it …. Peace is so much better than oil …

   Wolfowitz may have a point there. If a country does not have oil, the US will not feel compelled to assist it “achieve a better democracy” and if the US ignores it, peace and prosperity are possible.

   Did Charley Rose say, “But if you think peace is the most important blessing…much better than oil, why did you architect the Iraq War?” This is exactly what we’ve been saying about the media! Did he ask this question? Or just let him spout lie? Why was he even being interviewed by Charlie Rose? For damage control for the World Bank corruption?
