In the words of Dale Carrico in his blog “Amore Mundi” on the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies website:
Pushing a rhetoric of enfranchisement for the differently enabled, corporate hucksters and partisan hacks have facilitated disenfranchisement for all, pimpling over the electoral landscape with easily hackable machines that provide no paper trails, systems that can be stealthily manipulated and are incapable of recount should problems arise (even in jurisdictions where such recounts are mandated by law).

Speaking of voting … for those in Congress voting on Iraq issues this week (if you even have time to vote with all the scandals going on) … consider …
On another anniversary of the infantile “me like oil … me take oil” foreign policy of the fascist regime now in the white house, and specifically the anniversary of its second war pursuant to that policy, Iraqi’s now wish that Sadaam Hussein was still in power there.
At least then they would not have to “eat where they shit” (since water and sewage are now everywhere the other is). The old environmentalist simplification (forged for redneck neoCons who are cognitively challenged), “don’t eat where you shit” has yet to be applied in Baghdad.
I offer an additional simplification for the neoCon rednecks that invaded 4 yrs ago and are now oppressively occupying that small nation: “Don’t kill, maim, plunder, and destroy where you bring security, safety, happiness, and peace”.
Maybe they will get it this year?
