Kudos, btw, to Candorville cartoonist Darrin Bell, who has had his sharp eye on this issue for a while. His strip is widely syndicated (it’s in our copy of LA Times for one), so his coverage of “Liebold” should be receiving quite a few eyeballs today.
He contacted us this morning to alert us to today’s toon, along with the promise that “there will be more to this storyline as the election approaches.”
He asks that we also point folks to the main Candorville website. We’re happy to oblige!

Bravo to artists who are willing to take the risk of using their art to push forward important memes.
It is through simple things like cartoons, comedy news shows, occasional feature films, and music that we have a shot at reaching into people’s minds and changing the way they look at things.
I’m looking for something to buy from his store to keep him going.
The Diebold secret is truly out! It’s a watercooler topic, finally!
But, the truth is a bit different, eh?
Actually, what probably happened long ago was that reporters submitted reports and they were trashed by editors afraid of lawsuits. So, after some time the reporters just give up and write about celebrities or just quote things said at a press conference to avoid controversy. Of course, Dems probably don’t sue, or threaten to sue to shut up free speech papers, so they get slammed by the press.
Ah, Truth, thy name hath two tease.
Clinton never censored anybody or Rush Limbaugh would have been toast long ago. But just think of all the people Bush has censored. He even fired his own people when they spoke out.
Why can’t some Americans see this. Don’t they realize how dangerous this is?
