Today the release of two much awaited reports has been in the media. One report on the Arkansas and ES&S and the other report is on the failures in the primary election in Cuyahoga Co., OH. / An Arkansas election official wrote about ES&S and the recent state primary, “This was the most disorganized bunch ever to run an election in Arkansas. They were untruthful in their responses. Their performance left the burden of this election on us and greatly increased the cost.” / A report prepared by InfoSentry for the state of Arkansas said this about vvpat printer failures, “Such an occurrence could cause a very serious problem in the event of an audit or a recount in which the verified voting paper audit trail becomes an official ballot,” the report said. “There would be some unknown number of ballot transactions that would print on a single, unreadable, and unverifiable line.”…

Nobody should ever trust these machines, or their “secret software”, I already forgot what the name they called it was… it might as well be named SWIPE or RIP-OFF 🙂

I guess I was a little harsh in an earlier post saying everybody’s opening statement, except David Wagner’s, at the July 19th hearings were “garbage”. As I said, I couldn’t see the whole hearing (Archived Webcast) because of my slow connection and Rep. Boehlert does a good job as portrayed in the article above called:

“NAtional: Rep. Boehlert Makes The Case For Voter Verified Paper Ballots And Audits”

I didn’t care for the part of his opening statement which said he didn’t think anything would happen before 2010. Not his fault, but still a demoralizing statement.

I’m justifiably angry that after the stolen election of 2000, we are going to bungle on for many more years trying to make HAVA work!

Thiry seven years after LANDING ON THE MOON, Americans are completely and utterly incapable of counting their votes on election day.

It’s obvious 2006 is lost unless we scrap ALL of the legal language and complex machinations.

Hand mark, Hand count, nationwide in 2006 and screw the handicapped people who show up with their seeing-eye dogs as reported in the “Salon” article. Robert Kennedy already said some of these shills got paid a million dollars to prevent paper trails. When Republicans steal elections, blind people lose. It’s that simple!
