John,
I'm glad to hear that VotersUnite! is supporting Humboldt County, California's plan to scan all the ballots cast and then making copies of the digital images of those ballots available to any citizen who wants them.
Black Box Voting is presently working with John, Brad and other voting rights activists to find other ways to put pressure on Diebold to recall all of the TSx touch screens and replace them with their high speed optical scan machines and do exactly what they are doing in Humboldt County. These TSx touch screens must be handled in the same way they handled the exploding gas tank on the Ford Pinto and be recalled immediately.
This will set a precedent that citizens should have the right and ability to audit 100% of their elections, rather than just 2 or 3 percent.
We should do everything possible to prevent any county from being at the mercy of these extremely flawed TSx touch screen machines come November.

There is a huge danger here, both to election integrity
and those that seek to promote it through this approach.
The proposal facilitates online vote selling, such as by
voters "fingerprinting" their ballots by the exact way
that they fill the ovals.

Brad cares about Voting laws. Lets see if he cares about this democrat.
But as we all know. Voting laws only matter when it doesnt help democrats. This story will NEVER appear here.

We hear the poll numbers appearing to show the democrats staged for a comeback, with the voting machines in place as they are now, polls are a moot point. Ohio is preparing at this very moment to make sure that the crooks get elected this November. This is happening all over the country. Recounts are being outlawed, districts gerrymandered, and laws are being passed to keep the voting machines from being examined.

I don't usually do this anymore, but against my better judgement here goes - feeding the troll:
Ricky, she was asked how someone could help with the campaign. Here reply was: “Everybody can help, yeah, absolutely, you can all help. You don't need papers for voting, you don't need to be a registered voter to help.”
"You don't need papers for voting" is clarified by "you don't need to be a registered voter to help.”
Her sentence construction admittedly sucks, it would have been clearer if she had said "You don't need 'voting registration papers', you don't need to be a registered voter to help"
The bottom line is that she is being taken out of context by the right wing spin monkeys.
There - now this issue has been addressed here.
It is a non-issue - so give it up!
Back to my den!
DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!

Every precinct and county that escapes from its electronic voting machines is a great victory. When the Rep's steal the '06 election electronically, these islands of accurate totals will stand out like sore thumbs.

SDUT 6/7/06 - SLIP SWINGS UNDECIDEDS - An offhand remark by Democrat Francine Busby --- who headed into yesterday's 50th District primary with a slim but promising three to seven point lead --- may have triggered the amazing last minute swing by undecided voters toward her opponent, Republican Brian Bilbray. . . .
(Time for the old "gee, it wasn't the machines, it was the 'papers' remark" explanation.)

The comment you addressed is neutral, not favoring either party.
The people addressed in the statement can work for either party.
And like the homosexual problem with republican Jeffie Gannon and others (condeming in the name of conservatism, their own gayness), the republicans will be using undocumented folk to do their campaigning too.
The republican dictators have ordered the misinterpretation in yet another hypocrital position in yet another campaign.
They don't get the concept of "too late" ... it is too late for the republican dictatorship to deceive the people into believing them.
They are known liars.
