Sorry I couldn't get back out there again Brad. It would have been an honor to meet you. I heard Joan Baez was performing there today. Did you see her there? Anyway, I'm proud of you and glad you're there to kick some Bush ass. Rock on.

Hey Brad,
Isn't there anyway to rent a bigger parcel so everyone could park and protest in one space?
Can you find out why the Peace House turned down the 212 acres that Fred Mattlage offered?
cool
thanks

I heard from a friend that Fred Mattladge offered his 212 acres so that the scorpions could attack the protesters.
Brad, you sure do throw around the word "miracles" a lot.
Because of Global Warming and in Texas in August, it's hot as a firecracker outside. Good luck Brad! Without you, this "necessary national discussion" would not be possible.

Have you made your donation tonight Paul? That information just may cost you some $$!
I will be making the journey to Crawford on Thursday where I will stay for a week or so. Most important issue is getting the broadcast up --- and pulling all the elements together --- and making sure our terrific host and field producer arrived safely! We are so very close! And we've got backup options, which gives us much hope that we will be able to pull this off!
Donate if you can!! All going for a great cause --- keeping the dialogue going this last 10 days and beyond is incredibly important!
Thanks to Kira and David and Winter for the blog support, and all the rest of you for continued good vibes!! (I'm getting the feeling that even Paul is cheering for us!)

Here's a good article I found just now on MSNBC Hardblogger:
Bush's war without end? An antiwar Democrat can emerge with the majority
(Bob Shrum)
[snip] ... The mother of an earlier casualty, Cindy Sheehan, has become a symbol of protest against a war we were led and lied into by neo-cons who have sent other people’s sons and daughters off to war. Pat [Buchanan] is right about her iconic role; he’s wrong about what it portends for the Democratic Party.
First, the voters --- and not just Democrats, but 61 percent of Americans --- are ahead of the politicians in their opposition to Bush’s war policy. That was true as well in the 1960s --- except that the anti-war opposition is greater now than it was then; in fact, it’s almost a super-majority. If the realities don’t change in Iraq, the politicians will catch up with the people. In the end, they always do. Why even Pat’s boss, Richard Nixon, felt compelled to mislead the electorate in 1968 by leaving the impression that he had “a secret plan for peace” in Vietnam.
... Pat concludes by arguing that Vietnam did more damage to Democrats than Republicans. Well, the first casualty of war is not a political party; human beings, including too many young Americans, died in Vietnam and are dying today in Iraq. Beyond that, maybe Pat’s forgotten that little Republican catastrophe known as Watergate, which was a direct outgrowth of Nixon’s law, breaking obsession with the anti-war movement. The party of Bush may end up as shattered as the party of Nixon was in 1974.
A national Democratic leader will break with the conventional caution and speak out unequivocally. And he or she may just find themselves speaking for a majority of Americans as the next President of the United States.

OK, thanks for that link. Sorry!
I have a comment about the DailyKOS. They keep posting stats about how a Dem is leading in a pre-election poll. This is doing nothing to help vote fraud! They did it with the Hackett race, too. Then, when the Dem loses, they say, "We really showed them, with that close race." That's doing nothing to prevent vote fraud. In fact, they may be helping them out by notifying them that a Dem will win an election, so then they can concentrate harder on hacking that election!
I'd admire them even if they ran stories questioning why the polls were one way before an election, and then they questioned the outcome. But they just say "moral victory". wtf???
We saw how exit polls and stats are totally disregarded when they show fraud. There's tons and tons of data proving fraud. We have to do something about it. That's why this blog and Velvet Revolution is better than DailyKOS. What's their bag? Just posting pre-election stats? And then saying it was a "moral victory" when the Dem loses 51%-49%?
Can this blog be fixed, and take out the manual flight instructions on posting links? I posted those links to several sites, and this is the only one that needs manual flight instructions! Pump the pedal 3 times, wait 5 seconds, then turn the key....(I'm joking)...

Funny Big Dan! LOL! I agree - Lots of folks aren't tek-geeks and are probably rushed for time. Too bad there isn't an easy way ... yet. Maybe it will come if there's ever any free time for the Bradblog R&D team!
51% to 49% ... hmmm ... sounds familiar, doesn't it.
I don't know what's up, Big Dan, but it just became apparent to me, that those of us who won't just "move on" and accept it and look forward to 2006 and 2008 are what lots of Dems & Progressives call "Far Lefties."
Wow! Have you been noticing anything like that in your perusal of the web lately?

Here's a job for the might 6 or 7:
Take Action! Demand FOX News Retract Cindy Sheehan Lie
2:05 PM ET, FOX News Live reported a vicious lie about Cindy Sheehan without bothering to provide the source.
Laurie Dhue introduced the segment by saying snidely that Cindy Sheehan is the "so-called Peace Mom," as if that in itself is something distasteful.
Molly Henneberg reported from Crawford, TX that Sheehan "says America is not worth dying for." Rather than provide a specific source or a clip, Henneberg merely told the audience Sheehan said that "back in April at a rally in San Francisco for a lawyer convicted of providing support to terrorists." Perhaps the reason no clip or source was provided was because Henneberg completely distorted what Sheehan said.
In fact, Iraq was the country Sheehan said was not worth dying for, as this complete quote from a transcript at wikipedia shows:
I'm going all over the country telling moms: "This country is not worth dying for. If we're attacked, we would all go out. We'd all take whatever we had. I'd take my rolling pin and I'd beat the attackers over the head with it. But we were not attacked by Iraq." (applause)

You have to read this article. The latest poll shows that only 26% fully support bu$h's war in Iraq. Considering there are some pro-war Democrats & other non-Republicans, that means that fewer than half the Republicans are standing with bu$h. Sing it out, folks!
Pro-War Folks' Attacks Show Desperation
John Nichols, Associate Editor of The Capital Times
[SNIP] ... The rapidly dwindling minority of Americans who continue to search for some rationale for keeping U.S. troops in Iraq have been driven to the brink of breakdown by the success of Sheehan's protest. Go to the Web site of William F. Buckley's National Review magazine, and you will find Sheehan described in headlines as "nutty," dismissed by columnists as "the mouthpiece ... of howling-at-the-moon, bile-spewing Bush haters" and accused of "sucking up intellectual air" that, presumably, would be better utilized by Condoleezza Rice explaining once more that it would be wrong to read too much into that Aug. 6, 2001, briefing document that declared: "Bin Laden determined to attack inside the U.S."
... What the pro-war crowd does not understand is that Cindy Sheehan is not inspiring opposition to the occupation. She is merely putting a face on the mainstream sentiments of a country that has stopped believing the president's promises with regard to Iraq. According to the latest Newsweek poll, 61 percent of Americans disapprove of Bush's handling of the war, while just 26 percent support the president's argument that large numbers of U.S. military personnel should remain in Iraq for as long as it takes to achieve the administration's goals there. Woo-Hoo! The latest on bu$h's new neighbors!
Howdy, neighbor!
We had an incredible evening yesterday up at the new Camp Casey site. Now, as you read the rest of this post, keep in mind that the new site is literally within spitting distance of Bush's ranch-- though we wouldn't actually spit, as we're trying to behave ourselves. And besides, why stoop to vulgar behavior when we have a sound system so loud the words "No more war!" can surely be heard in the man's bedroom?!?
Other statements that boomed over the loudspeaker tonight, besieging Mr. Bush and his pro-war agenda --- More at Link above (After Downing Street .org)

Baez Performs for Crawford War Protesters
By ANGELA K. BROWN --- Associated Press Writer
CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) --- Iraq war protesters camping out near President Bush's ranch got some support Sunday night from a prominent figure in the anti-Vietnam war movement: folk singer Joan Baez.
"In the first march I went to (opposing Vietnam) there were 10 of us. This is huge," Baez told relatives of fallen U.S. soldiers Sunday before performing a free concert just up the road from the ranch.

Yes kos is fixed. I read on this blog that they took diebold money. If you try to comment on this, they will censor you. Try it. I can't even read a diary anymore and have been a kos reader for a year. Americablog will also censor comments of kos's fix. They stopped election fraud discussion even though a lot of bloggers wanted to comment. When I saw them do the same thing for the hackett race. I raised the suspicion as a comment. Two earlier posts I had made were also taken off. touchy touchy.
