Subj: With poll numbers like that, who needs enemies?
. . . and what's the White House to do?
Flashback to Monday's Press Conference
To improve these poll numbers, you've entered the Fantasy White House[ More . . . ]
Don't be afraid. It's just the truth.

Frist!
These polls are the beginning of great news for America.
On NPR, the Preznit's waffeling, flip-flop on his intentions
to get rid of the leaker has been at the top of every news hour.
I am a public radio junkie, and this is the first time they didn't let a Bushco scandal fade after 1/2 day.

Americans are liberal once personal distinctions are made concerning greed and power. We are all the same humans and we all draw the same lines when it comes to our collective well-being.
Americans believe in justice, in truth, in equality, in responsibility, in our Constitution and in peace. Tyranny for profit and power is not tolerated by the 98% who share these values. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise, for they are liars seeking to use you.

One hopes truth, equality, accountability, and justice will out concerning Rove/Libby. As the numbers go south, however, what will the response be? 51% of Americans in another poll today want military attacks for the London bombing even though what happened there is far from clear yet. And if the following report that we are actively preparing for nuclear war in Iraq is true, will events pressure the powers that be to sting us again?

That's heartening Torqued. I just don't know if it's 98%.
I just don't get the incredible GREED of most neo-cons.
Like the "Greed is Good" speach by M Douglas in Wall Street. It scared the shit out of me because it made sense in a twisted way.
I have no problem very, very rich people. But after attaining like $500,000,000, it is just fucked to screw others to get MORE.
Bushco has to get 100% of whatever they want or they think they lost.

Thanks for your interest. Include a link back here or to RawStory to your blog/site with an agenda and questions you want answered. Let others know what your comments are.
Maybe others have the same comments, questions, or issues, and might actually relate to the DSM and BradBlog topics already posted. I could include links to other material to assist. Good luck!

Thank heaven for this poll. The other poll making the rounds today might earn the Idiot Canvass Award for the all-time dumbest question ever asked by a polltaker.
"What is the appropriate response to the London bombings?" Choices given...1) military action, 2)withdraq from Iraq, 3) negotiate with terrorists.
MILITARY ACTION? Against dead terrorists? Withdrawal from Iraq? Who says the terrorists were from Iraq? Negotiate? With which terrorists?
You guessed it. 51% picked "military action." Now all we have to decide is whom to attack. Maybe the village idiots who make up the 51% can help the neo-cons decide. How about Iran?

RLM #8 But of course.
Force the hand of a few ... and the results will be askew ...
But the poll does show the propensity to use violence as a cure for ...
... violence ...

that poll was looking for the same gut response as what was provoked after 9/11 -
who to attack? supposedly some or most of the bombers were British citizens.... so do we bomb the British town they were from?

"What is the appropriate response to the London bombings?"
the poll is useless due to the question choice,Choices given...
1) military action
2)withdraq from Iraq
3) negotiate with terrorists.
why not
4)find out the truth behind the bombings.
5)truth regarding "terror drill" was being held exactly matching the MO, location and timing of the bombings.
6)truth regarding alleged "Netanyahu's Warning of London Bombing".
Observation/question:what was in the bag (white plastic shopping) carried by the "Alleged suicide bomber" in the picture taken of all four entering the train station (second guy in picture) was it lunch or a good book to read between bombs?

Here's my own poll of the moment:
About the 25% who believe the white house is "fully cooperating" - are they:
1) not really paying attention at all but don't want to look ignorant and so just guessing by picking one of the answers?
2) confused about the definition of "cooperating"?
3) deceived by misleading articles that somehow imply cooperation on the part of the WH?
4) fully aware that the white house is NOT cooperating, and just lying to help the poll numbers?
or
5) ?? 1 out of 4 respondents? WTF is wrong with these people?
Must be some of the same group that wants a military response to the London bombings (we don't care who it is, just start bombing somebody, anybody!!)

Regarding the question, "Whom to attack in response to terrorism?" we now have Congressman Tancredo of Colorado speaking up.
Tancredo says, "If we're the victim of another terrorist attack, we should bomb Mecca." This is an elected representative of the people speaking.
If the I.R.A. decides to set off a bomb in Belfast, does that mean Northern Ireland gets to bomb the Vatican? It would make equal sense.

Wow. Those are some serious damaging poll numbers for Karl Rove. No wonder Bush nominated this SCOTUS guy last night. Of course this won't stop Fitzgerald from doing his job. I'm especially surprised at the republican numbers. Even his own party is turning against him.
