Brad, before I get to my own question, let me follow up for the caller who brought up the supposed highjackers. In his book Fog Facts, Larry Beinhart points out this anomaly on starting on page 9, and points out the info has been gathered and further cited by The Center for Cooperative Research, where they list their sources as The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, the BBC, The Guardian, The Independent, and the Telegraph.
Back to my question – for Larisa Alexandrovna. It was Eric Edelman who attacked Senator Clinton last week. Edelman was 1) Ambassador to Turkey from 2003-2005, where he was extraordinarily rude and damaging, 2) Libby’s Libby, involved in the Plame leak, and 3) according to Ms. Alexandrovna, in the group concocting the bad intelligence to support our attacking Iran.
Would Ms. Alexandrovna like to expound on this undiplomatic diplomat’s career?

No; don’t think so. Many continue to abide by the oath: “…to support and protect the Constitution…against all enemies foreign and domestic…” under terrible circumstances.
If the government continues to eviscerate the Constitution these officers will be faced with the conflict between orders and the oath. Many will stand by the oath.
Let’s hope ordinary citizens do as well.

I hope you’re right, abacus! I said years ago I wanted a military coup, but have been watching all the ones who wish to uphold their oaths retire rather than stop * and Fudd. I would hope there are enough who would uphold their oaths, but everyone in Congress also took that oath, and look what they’re [not] doing. I HOPE YOU ARE RIGHT!

Doug says “More votes have been accurately cast and counted on electronic voting devices than at any other point in the history of elections”. Bob Young admits that that could well be true but adds. “We can say with even more certainty that more votes have been inaccurately cast and counted on electronic voting devices than at any other point in history.” Since no one who has ever voted on one of these electronic voting devices has any clue whatsoever that their vote was counted accurately Doug’s claim is nothing more than a guess. His claim has a degree of believability only because more accuracy should but need not coincide with more use of that equipment. My claim has a higher degree of believability because it is highly unlikely that those who seen there votes flipped on the screens of these sometimes accurate electronic voting devices wound up having their votes counted accurately. More inaccuracy also likely coincides with more use of that equipment helping my claim out just as effectively as it does Doug’s completely unsubstantiated propaganda.
Doug says “However, I would suggest that you go to a federally triggered recount as a better solution. Establish a percentage of the difference between the candidates whereby a recount becomes automatic. Whether that is 1% or ½ of a percent or ¼ of a percent is a matter that can be chosen. But certainly it should not be higher that 1 percent difference for a federal election”
Bob sees that idea as complete nonsense! While the difference in an honest election will be similar to difference the in the support for the two candidates, the differences in a fraudulently counted election is similar to the difference between the fraud used and the fraud need to win. Steal elections by more than one percent by fraudulently adjusting the secret “counting” of the votes and you are home free. What kind of a “democracy does that leave us with? None whatsoever! That is why nobody should listen to the likes of Doug Lewis when they say “trust the people who do the job. They are honest and decent Americans who are under appreciated. They truly believe in an honest and fair democracy.” The entire fate of your “democracy” rests on that needless and unwarranted trust in these people all of whom have no more idea if their vote was counted as cast than you do that your vote was counted as cast. Cut out all the propaganda Doug and deliver us some facts for a change!
Doug dreams on “Trust them and their abilities while continuing a transparent and public process.” How does one go about continuing something that does not exist? Where do you see any transparency whatsoever in a voting system where absolutely nobody has any clue whatsoever if their votes were counted as cast?
