Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Mike Papantonio, and David Bender had a great discussion about RFK Jr.’s Live Earth speech on the July 14, 2007 Ring of Fire on Air America Radio. The show opened with a laughing Papantonio asking, “So Bobby, what in the hell did you do this last weekend, my God, hate-mail is flying, Hannity is attacking you, I mean what’s up?” You can hear RFK Jr. reply that he “just told the truth, man, just told the truth” in the ten minute audio clip from the radio program (below). RFK Jr.’s appearance on Glenn Beck, also at BRAD BLOG, is also discussed briefly. Finally, Bender repeats RFK Jr.’s call to fight lying pundits like Hannity and Beck through their advertisers (many of which can be seen in this video mashup).

heh Alan, after running that argument on natural vs artificial persons around in my head all day…I’m spent.
I sure wouldn’t want to be the one to argue that in front of the SCOTUS.
It seems to be such a circular argument IMO
But I know one thing for sure, whatever angle the peoples lawyer uses for his/her arguments when the time comes, it would be the most honest one.
The artificial (corporate) lawyer would have to lie through his teeth.

I think the same tools can be used in local governments fight to operate elections in fashions which they see fit

The Senators will be up all night, like a blogathon … trying to get the GOP to put their votes where their mouths are.
They used to sound out the mantra “just let us have an up or down floor vote” when they did not have committee majority. They threatened to crush and destroy the filibuster.
Now they filibuster trying to set a record. At least 43 already this year.

I listened to Cindy Sheehan on Hardball tonight.
Clueless about how the congress works.
If she won an election against Pelosi, she said she would have congress end the war by cutting off funding.
When asked how she would get such a bill passed, she said it would not be a bill, she would just do it.
Clueless. She does not understand that laws come from votes. Clueless! And this is the anti-war best?

And how many times do I have to tell you to ask Papantonio’s office about the qui tam suits? If you really care about them, as opposed to caring about dissing Bobby for taking issue with your dear Democrats, call and find out.
I have RFK Jr’s speech from Live Earth on my wall and he DID NOT call Beck, Stossel, Limbaugh or Hannity “traitors.” He used the word traitor to describe “corporate toadies for companies like Exxon and Southern Company, …” Can someone let Beck know that so he can say “Oops, my bad” and giggle?

She indicated that all she had to do was want it to happen, and that ending the war is “not about a bill”.
She does not know that votes are what make law. Clueless!
In the interest of not advocating secrecy, when will the exclusive information about the qui tam come out?
Or will some advocate secrecy only for themselves and not the rest of us? Isn’t that a bit bushie?
