Blogged by Brad from the road…
New Hampshire Election Integrity advocates bird-dogged the prospective Presidential Candidate and co-author of the disastrous Help America Vote Act (HAVA) of 2002, Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-CT), a couple of weeks ago concerning the failures of that bill. The short video follows.
We hope other folks will do same with Presidential Candidates from any and all parties and share their video tapes of responses. One of the things we learned in Arizona from Ted Downing, the chair of the Election Integrity Committee of the state’s Democratic Party (the only state party in the union to have such a committee!), is that he plans to ask each and every Presidential Candidate to appoint an Election Integrity “Cabinet Member” to their campaign staff. We’ll try to report back if and when any of those candidates take him up on that.
(Links to my radio interview with Downing and others in Arizona while Guest Hosting Mike Malloy and Peter B. Collin’s shows are right here.)
We’ll just add one comment in reply to the below video for the moment: Mr. Dodd, the system has not been “improved since 2000.” It is far far worse.

Thank you New Hampshire Election Integrity advocates for bird-dogging prospective Presidential Candidate. We’ll be dong the same in Arizona.
Sen. Christopher Dodd needs a lot of dogging! He just doesn’t seem to get it. I hope Brad dose a category called “dogging the candidates.
I know what I would have asked Dodd:
Is it true that you got angry at John Kerry for suggesting there were problems in Ohio, saying, “We’ve looked into it, and there’s nothing there”? Now that there have been convictions, do you regret not having looked harder?
Or perhaps:
Shouldn’t experts be involved in the process this time, since people like Jack Abramoff and Bob Ney were using handicapped people as pawns in a scheme to deceive the American people, as you are still doing?
Or maybe:
Were you aware that Senator Chuck Hagel illegally withheld records of his involvement with a voting machine company many years ago before he was elected in an almost comical landslide with those machines?
I’m glad Dennis Kucinich will be running for president too. He understands how bad HAVA was.
One part of the defective 2000 “election” has been removed … Chief Justice Rehnquist … he led the political voting machine in Bush v Gore that elected the current fascist regime.
Feeney technology may have helped, but the system is composed of many parts.
Some of it has improved because the democratic revolution took place thru the voting system last November, and it continues to grow stronger even as we speak.
The machine danger which has been exposed two decades ago and counting in articles and a 1988 NIST report has not improved.
But Ken Blackwell, Bob Ney, Bush v Gore Rehnquist have been removed.
Those are improvements to the system.
So as to avoid the one trick pony paradigm (a person is judged by one issue only), note that Dodd is busy with bringing democracy back in other areas where it has been removed:
(Restore the Constitution). He is smarter on some issues than he is on others, like all of us.
