How much latitude? zero.
How much longtitude? zero.

Unless one is in the minority ... and the latitude added to the longtitude is still zero.

This is like Dick Nixon, only worse. Was there any doubt it would be a Republican doing this? How do they get in office? I'll tell you how: by stealing elections. The average poor and middle class American citizen is out of their mind, if they vote for a Republican president. Sorry Republicans, but YOU let the fascists take over YOUR party.

Wasn't better. It's not working for some reason. Anyway, it's an excellent article from the Free Republic website.

What bothers me about this is why it has taken so long for the media to come on board.
I was asking this same question just after Christmas 2001... when no one else did!
At the same time I feel enraged, I also feel relieved... like the past is in the process of being redeemed.

It looks like the MSM is finally starting to wake up a little lately. I'm wondering how long it will take them to wake up to the subject of This Post which I made the other day at the Bush 33% thread.
Also this today from Congressman John Murtha

My fear is I won't live to see him and his in prison. Tell me if the GOP fools listen to Roberts and change the laws about domestic wire tapping can bush still be prosecuted for his violations prior? and what is the time limit on charging him with all his high crimes?

So who is the final winner from all His Nibs has brought down on us? The political cartoonists! You would think that after the international uproar that 12 cartoons caused last month that some editors would realize the impact that cartoons carry on the reading public and, instead of cutting the position of staff cartoonist for "economic reasons," be inclined to hire more.
If an editor happens to read this I hope he'll consider the importance and service of the cartoonist on staff.
OK this post is a bit off topic, I'll get off m' soapbox now.

ADA, not sure about the legallity of prosecuting him for "breaking the current law".. I"d think you can, but you never know. You can't be charged with doing something that wasn't a crime at the time (but is now.. look at the DeLay thing, some charges tossed because the law wasn't a law when he did the activities.. post de facto laws, and all that). I would THINK that since it's currently illegal and he's currently doing it, even when it's "no longer illegal", he'd be prosecutable.
Though, watch for Congress to "excuse past occurances" when they draft up their bill. They will find a way to let their poor retarded drug addict off the hook, rich kids always manage to avoid consequences for their actions. It's why they are near clinically psychotic, I think.
At this point, I don't know how we pull back without a civil war. Dems are complicit by inaction.. Pugs are supporting illegal activities because it's in their funders best interests (not ours).. We have an entirely broken down system with 10s of millions of American adults "asleep at the wheel" and not caring. Too many people are raised to believe "you're ok no matter what" (thanks far-lefties!) and don't feel the need to EVER think or expand their minds or their understanding of the world. As a result, we have a buch of self-confident uneducated trash out there thinking "their way is right, no matter what, no need to think about it or get more facts".
Until the masses wake the fuck up and stop being so damn arrogant, we're screwed. Personally, I have no faith in the American Public at large. They are content to piss away their lives without a care in the world as to the consequences. I watched a Credit Card special thing (was linked from here, I think) where they were asking "normal people" questions about their cards.. they had NO CLUE what the rules were regarding their cards, had NO CLUE that it would take them over 20 years to pay them off at "the minimum payment".. At one point some were asked if they had money in the bank.. they said "yes".. They were asked "why don't you pay off your cards with that money then?".. the answer? "what if something happens.. we don't want to have to live off our cards".. *blink blink*.. so, better to make 2% on the savings and spend 15 - 20% on cards instead of paying off all that debt, save all that interest, and if "something happens", have a LOT more credit room on the cards?
The government isn't interested in helping us, they get rich (as individuals) by letting us get fucked by corporations. Unfortunately, most Americans are ok with that.

It's not the heat it's the hypocrisy.
Problem is that Clinton had a congress made of the loyal opposition. The failure currently in office is never held accountable.
