   OT, except speaking of being fooled again, I noticed a quote allegedly from Osama bin Laden:

   "The jihad (holy war) is ongoing, thank God, despite all the oppressive measures adopted by the U.S. Army and its agents (which has reached) a point where there is no difference between this criminality and Saddam’s criminality." (link here, emphasis added).

   What is interesting to me is that bin Laden considers Sadaam a criminal, which shows that The Dick was lying when he said Sadaam and bin Laden were bosom buddies.

   Sadaam and bin Laden were never close. Bin Laden hated Saddam’s secular model for holding together Iraq by limiting the religious nature of the state and subverting the power of the religious leaders to himself and his military and Bathist leaders.

   The Republicans KNEW this, they just chose to lie about it. But, then again, that shouldn’t surprise anybody, since that’s about all they’ve been doing for the last two decades.

   Republicans lie to get what they want.
   Republicans lie to keep what they have.
   Republicans lie to control the masses.
   Republicans lie because it has become habit and they have forgotten how to tell the truth — they are PATHOLOGICAL about it.

   Republicans lie and people die.

   Republicans lie and mother earth cries.

   Republicans lie and the Democrats sigh, refuse to call it a lie, and do nothing, choosing instead to "keep their powder dry."

   I agree except for the republican talking point of blaming the democrats for what the republicans have done.

   Why don’t the democrats in the senate take chairmanship of senate committees, get a majority of democrats on senate committees so they can have a majority there, decide what subjects are investigated (admin NSA spying for example), who and what is subpoenaed, etc?

   The answer is that is how the senate is configured. Read this link, and hopefully you will see, as I have, that the minority party serves at the will of the majority party.

   The republicans via the lie have hypnotized us into blaming the democrats for the wrongs the republicans are doing.

   Reminds me of the Paul Simon song about there being 50 ways to leave a lover.

   There must be 50 ways "to leave the liars" … get a new plan Stan, and set yourself free …================SUPPORT CLINT CURTIS================
