Yes. There was one arrest of a "pro-war/pro-bush" protestor for not obeying instructions from a peace officer.
It was a peaceful arrest and was reported on Fox news.

Hey liars and finger pointers -
Saddam gave $25,000 to families of suicide bombers in Israel. Saddam is a part of the War on Terrorism.
Bush already met with Sheehan.
President Bush's approval rating I bet has a lot to do with the price of gas just like it did under Carter.

Thank you so much, Brad, for interrupting your vacation to broadcast this world-changing event at Camp Casey. Apparently from his remarks in today's edition of the Washington Post, Colbert King agrees with Cindy, too! See below:

Rallying the Troops and Avoiding Reality
By Colbert I. King
Saturday, August 27, 2005; A17
There is something almost surreal in the juxtaposition of President Bush's statements on Iraq and news reporting on the war. The two are simply irreconcilable.
Bush's upbeat take collides with recent news reports about events in Iraq as well as with the judgments of senior officials within his administration. If the media have got it wrong, then we deserve to get hammered. If, however, it turns out that Bush is not being straight with courageous U.S. service members and their families, then it will be the Bush presidency and his legacy that will pay dearly.
At the moment he's hitting it off in visits to military posts, where he dons his commander-in-chief hat. One Bush line always draws applause: "We will stay on the offensive. Whatever it takes, we will seek and find and destroy the terrorists, so that we do not have to face them in our own country." It went over well last year with a gathering of applauding Screaming Eagles of the 101st Airborne, Green Berets of the 5th Special Forces Group and the Night Stalkers, at Fort Campbell, Ky.
In June the president went to Fort Bragg, N.C., and in a televised address described Iraq as the latest battlefield in the war on terrorism, saying: "America's mission in Iraq is to defeat an enemy and give strength to a friend . . . . We will stay in the fight until the fight is won."

Cindy was awesome on Bill Maher's show last night and the audience couldn't stop cheering and applauding. Bill's show will be repeated in our area at least two more times.
This should get some of those "fence sitters" either sign up and ship out and let the guys and women come home who were extended.
Its time for the Pro-War to put up or shut up.

Just a quick link before I dash off again:
The Calm Before The Storm
**snip** by David Swanson
http://www.opednews.com
It's very, very early morning on Saturday, August 27, in Crawford, Texas. The roads are as dark as Dick Cheney's heart, and the stars as numerous as W's lies. All hell has not yet broken loose and may or may not do so later today. But the police are telling the media that they're preparing for trouble. And Camp Casey 2 ran a workshop yesterday on how to nonviolently respond to hostility. (Watch video on Truthout.org.)
Huge numbers of supporters of Cindy Sheehan are expected here today, along with a rumored crowd of pro-war activists (whether it will be of any size remains to be seen). And then there's the rumor that local military recruiters will work the crowd if it materializes at the high school stadium. This is one of those rumors that makes a little too much sense to seem true. What, after all, does it mean to be a pro-war activist if not to sign up and engage in the war?
Tonight at Camp Casey 2 there were a couple of hundred people around through the evening. We ate and enjoyed the performances of some extremely talented musicians and singers. Then we all gathered 'round as Cindy did an interview from the middle of the tent with Bill Maher on his HBO show. I hope to upload at some point a video we taped of the event that does not show what Maher said (we couldn't hear him), but does include shots of the crowd, which Maher could not see (we were all behind the camera), but which he clearly heard – there were deafening shouts and cheers after each of Cindy's best remarks. **snip --- more**

We have created a mess in Iraq, and there is no accountability from this administration:
We were told this war would be paid for through Iraqi oil, and after the United States having spent 300 billion plus where is the accountability?
We supposedly were going "spread democracy" in the middle east, and what do we see? Iraq becoming another theocracy.....
Where is the reality for those who continue to blindly support this war?

Total myth, Reagan did NOT bring down the Soviet Union. Can you spell C H E R N O B Y L ?
Rock and radiation brought down the Soviet Union. It was "...a cultural revolution and a nuclear malfunction cracked the Kremlin's core. Reagan's beloved Cold War made his GOP buddies even richer. But it was rock and radiation that finally did in the Soviets." Harvey Wasserman

From the Iconoclast:
12:45 p.m.
Gene Ellis reporting for The Iconoclast
There are probably 2,000 people or more in the big tent at Camp Casey II. There is a rally under way on the stage with a man, and now the entire audience, singing God Bless America. Coordinator Ann Wright spoke for a few minutes earlier. A huge luncheon is set out with people lined up. Another busload of people is driving up right now. Parking is pretty much maxed out now.
Ann Wright is currently speaking again. You can smell barbecue cooking. Programs on stage are continuing during the day. Gatorade and water is being passed out among the crowd.
People just keep piling in. It is very hot.
There is going to be a wedding tomorrow at 4 p.m. at Camp Casey II. The bride says she will find and wear the cleanest T-shirt she's got and the money that would be have been spent on the wedding will go to the Peace House and Cindy Sheehan's group.

Brad, please mention this Online Think Tank event on your broadcasts. It's one more way of supporting Cindy and reclaiming our power as voters. There are special discussion threads for folks who've been badly served by the election process--e.g. young people, minority voters.

Public opinion can change things...and now wonderful blogs like these are crucial.
Apathy is yesterday's news...Brad, Winter Patriot, you are reaching across oceans, there must be a stronger word than Incrediable to describe what you are doing. Changing the world, that is what is happening !!!

Just read a snipet of Bush's Sat radio speech...Americans need to brace themselves for MORE sacrifice.. excuse me doesn't he mean the troops must brace themselves.
By sacrifice, that means more families will be burying their loved ones and caring for the wounded.
And could someone explain to me, how closing OUR military bases here, is strengthening our Security.
You know I just got the the answer. SEND BUSH TO IRAQ TO BE THEIR PRESIDENT. ALONG CHENEY, RUMSFELDT, ROVE AND WOLFAWITZ.
CAN'T WE DEPORT THEM?
Bush is sending our people, our money and building bases over there...he really needs to live there FULL TIME. !!!

If for some reason you lose connection, just keep trying and you should be able to reconnect within a minute or two.
The engineer is continuing to work on the problem and hopefully we will have a stable steam for you soon.

Paul will tell you he is a good Christian, so many are that are Pro -War. See, killing is alright if it is only to those who disagree with you or have different beliefs. And it is really alright, if he doesn't have to do it. Lets see would coward fit that description. Yes, I believe it does.
I wonder if you all know that Casey's death didn't have to happen. Aaron Glantz's book will tell you that Mokado Sadr was helping Americans after Saddam was toppled. He was supplying water and food to other Iraqis when we tore up their infrastructure. And M.Sadr wanted us to leave and let the Iraqi people begin governing themselves. Paul Bremer closed Mr.Sadr's newspaper, put out arrest warrants for Mr.Sadr and his second in command. With that all his followers turned against the Americans and the killling began.
Casey and his squad went in to control this group and Casey died.
DIDN'T HAVE TO HAPPEN. THE IRAQIS WANTED TO WORK WITH US. WE SAID NO. IT WAS OUR WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. Sound familiar?

Too bad the connections won't stick and I can't hear, contuously, what's going on.
But I'm with you all in spirit. For ten years I've been archiving and putting up on the Net, the data, the testimony, the documents and the photos to show that we the American people are being lied to, and deceived and tricked.
And now, after all this time, true facts are surfacing and truth is out there for everybody, even the very busy and complacent Coyboy Capital of the world here in Bandera, Texas, just to your southwest.
I am so grateful to hear you and know that Texans care about more than just themselves.
I hope you'll put your technicians to work and figure out why the connections won't stick. But, I'll not stop trying. You folks are a real shot-in-the-arm for an old grandma like me who's on-line 14 hours a day, just to tell and publish the Truth.

This is one the left kook fringe loves to bring up so I will answer it.
The military has guidelines and I believe I am a bit too old.
I choose to support them in other ways like pray for them, send care packages, etc. etc. etc.
I work in a company full of conservative marines. I personally sit next to several ex-military guys and they are not on the left kook fringe's side.

It has been almost four years since 9/11 and it is long overdue that we do precisely what 9/11's planners so desperately do NOT want us to do. By that I mean it is time for everyone in this country to take a look at 9/11 with dispassionate, analytical, objective, realistic eyes instead of taking the "official" 9/11 story at face value.

So everyone who says American troops over in Iraq are dying for nothing is wrong. The truth is, everything America is doing there furthers the interests of Iran and Islamic fundamentalism!!

I was at St. Josephs women’s hospital in Tampa, FL with my mother yesterday, while I was waiting for my mother to have tests done, one of the workers at the hospital sat down next to me after seeing Cindy’s commercial on TV. Well she said she can’t stand that women on the commercial. I asked her why do you hate her? Because her son went to fight a war to protect us and died? And then to find out the reason he went was a LIE. Well she shut her flap real fast. I’m so sick and tired of these people, and I’m not going to take it anymore. Oh, I know a lot of people have been looking into the real story of 9/11, and I meant no offense to anyone who's already figured out the mystery, just saying a lot of people still don't get it, or sort of see the truth but can't cope with it so they retreat into the fantasy explanation of "nineteen hijackers with plastic knives" because it's not as frightening and of course the mainstream media gives lip service to the "official" 9/11 story and many media mouthpieces probably believe it anyway. Remember that quote by Mark Twain that goes "A lie can make it halfway around the world before the truth can get its pants on" ? It's very true. And like I said I think a lot of people who "believe" the "official" 9/11 story do so because even though it is impossible, to them it seems easier to wrap their mind around and less scary than finding out the truth.

But I never believed Bushco about WMD after it was said over and over and over. WMD was a red flag to me. But even public radio supported it. Although their were a few interviews.
Yes. Many questions about 911 are unanswered.

Latest report from the Iconoclast
4:20 p.m.
Gene Ellis reporting for the Iconoclast
Joan Baez sang about four times this afternoon, a couple of the songs being Joe Hill, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.
Cindy Sheehan spoke at the rally and at a press conference just after that.
Sheehan said that before she came down here, someone told her, "You should go down in a pasture near Bush's ranch and thousands of people would come and you ought to call it Turdstock, so let's call it Turdstock."
She said that one question in her mind when she first arrived in Crawford was, "When will America care?" Now, she says, she knows that America cares.
Sheehan talked about her plans to take her message to the communities, that it is a grassroots movement that's growing and growing. She said, "I couldn't stop it now if I wanted to. It's got a life of its own. We'll take it to the cities, then the House and the Senate." She reiterated that the insurgency is fueled by our presence. She says she thinks it will stop if we leave.
The serving of barbecue has not yet started. The arrival of persons to have crosses removed has not happened.
There are still thousands here. Few, if any, are leaving. People keep arriving.

Greetings from Birmingham, Alabama the center of RED COUNTRY.
We were lucky enough to be at Camp Casey last Monday. We could not stay and could not get back for the weekend, but our thoughts are with everyone.
Dirving home, we had an immediate fifteen minute interview on the only liberal talk radio show in our part of the world.
The afternoon Birmingham paper did a great article on Thursday, August 25, about our visit and included an interview with Jean Prewitt, one of the Gold Star Mothers who had been to Crawford and who lives in Birmingham. You can find the article at http://www.postherald.com.
We also guest hosted a one and one-half hour talk radio show on Thursday night. We had Jean Prewitt and Lynn Bradach from Oregon (a Gold Star Mother from Oregon we met at Camp Casey) as our live guests. Interestingly, about half of our callers were positive to our cause and half were extremely rude. None of the negative callers discussed the facts, they only wanted to shoot the messengers. They truly do fear an honest open dialogue.
We must make the dialogue happen and bring the troops home!!!
We hope and pray everyone at Camp Casey will continue the work, as we shall, after this weekend.
See you all in Washington.

That's cool, I didn't want to offend; in answer to the question "how are the plane crashes connected to the Twin Towers controlled demolition?", well, I think Winter Soldier got it pretty much right on the mark when he said it was largely to scare us more, for the psychological effect, that was a large part of it, and also consider:
If the Twin Towers would've been left standing instead of "pulled" as they say, then a lot of key evidence contradicting the "official" story would've remained intact, like remains of the smaller remotely-piloted drone that hit the North Tower (hence the thing in the Naudet brothers' footage that is definately NOT a Boeing 757, and also the early reports of a "small plane" hitting the N. Tower). Well if they left it up then the REAL remains of it would've been found (instead of a couple obviously planted airplane parts taken from a junkyard) etc. The one that hit the South Tower was a remotely-piloted Air Force tanker (based on Boeing 757 airframe) and hit it more towards a corner instead of head on. Most of the jet fuel blew out in a huge Hollywood action movie fireball and the S. Tower fire was somewhat smaller than the N. Tower's (and was hit seventeen minutes later!). This is also why the earliest accounts of it stated the "airliner" that hit theSouth Tower had no windows. When the South Tower fire started dying, and the "reason" for the building's "collapse" with it, the S. Tower's charges were set off and it came down in ten seconds like it was made of butter. Exactly thirty minutes later the North Tower's charges went and it too came down in similar fashion. These had been wired to be set off from the mayor's emergency command center in the concrete bunker on the 23rd floor of WTC # 7 building, which itself was rigged with explosives. So later in the day after setting off both Twin Towers' charges, they set the timer on the explosives in the WTC # 7 (or remote-detonated it, one or the other) and "collapsed" it as well, destroying the evidence in the command center.

Winter Patriot I meant, sorry, I said 'Winter Soldier', probably thinking of the anti-war group called Winter Soldiers from way back when. They were sort of like Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW).

Something else to consider is that Bush's behavior on the morning of 9/11 is very damning in itself. When Andy Card told him of a second plane hitting the WTC then everyone concerned of course knew it was no accident, so if the "official" story were true then Bush's Secret Service chief would have had to assume that Bush might be a possible target and they would've immediately spirited him away to a much safer, less-publicized location. But they didn't. Instead, Bush was allowed to sit there and be read to by schoolkids for several minutes, then Bush gladhanded with teachers and posed for photos with them, and THEN Bush carried out his pre-scheduled press conference plugging the 'No Child Left Behind' act, not leaving that school for almost an hour. This can only mean: Bush and his Secret Service chief had to have known Bush was not a possible target on 9/11; the ONLY WAY they could have known that is if Bush knew the 9/11 plans beforehand, ergo 9/11 was an inside job. Though Bush's actions of that morning are well-documented (including a press conference!), nobody in the corporate-owned American mainstream media mentions what Bush's tarrying at that elementary school MEANS in terms of evidence.

Hi Kraig,
Lots of us have done a good bit of research on this topic and have come to the conclusion that the administration's story doesn't make any sense. Their story is tin-foil hat stuff. They are the conspiracy theorists ... they and all who believe their tall tale are living in a fantasy land.

Thanks to Kraig for keeping this in the light, and to Kira for posting those links : but I hasten to add that my [former] blog is by no means an authority on 9/11. I can save you the time you might spend hunting there, though. Here are the very few interesting 9/11-related items that I ever posted there :

on 9/11 the more I look at all the videos and read everything...the more I doubt the story line.
For one thing, I had seen a controlled demolition just before 9/11. It look exactly the same..then an engineer with 25 years experience put his name on the line that it was controlled...he later recanted..his lab gets federal funding.
Also, Marvin Bush and cousin...were on the board that provided security for the Trade Centers...with the federal payout to the victims...they and their company didn't lose a dime.
Just coincidence after coincidence.....
