   Hi folks, speaking of Iraq and illegal war, I just happened to see a link on http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/ that made me curious so I thought I would watch it. It is a video (there is text provided as well if u can’t get the video) and I thought I would mention it here. You can click on the link on the right hand side of the page titled "Video: A message in english from Iraqi Resistance movement" it is highlighted in red. I was interested to hear what the resistance movement had to say, as I suspect many of you will be as well.

    re #11 … I’ve been getting updates on the mysterious deaths of world-class virologists from a friend who has a phd in biology and who understands some of these things a lot better than I do … he says in addition to their knowledge, another aspect that makes all these deaths so mysterious is that all the victims had access to top-quality labs and therefore could have helped to stop the spread of an epidemic … if they were alive …

    Zowie guys! I can absorb a lot and keep my head up but the continuing revelations of good guys dying is getting close to overload.
    Last night I talked to a dear friend’s son who did a tour in Iraq last year. He was totally in support of Bush and the story line Bush puts out. Now, since he was there, and he still supports the Bush line that Saddam was way worse than anything we have done, how does that fit with my/our belief of Bush lies and atrocities?

    For DaveM: We’re talking apples and oranges, and other fruit for that matter. If the debate is about how bad Saddam Hussein was, that is apples. Does your friend’s son think people will change their minds about Iraq if they learn about more horrible acts committed by Saddam?

    If the debate is about invading a sovereign country that represented no threat to us, that’s oranges. One has nothing to do with the other.

    If the debate is about a link between Saddam Hussein and 9/11, that’s watermelon. There is no such link, and there never was.

    Soldiers are taught to kill "the enemy." They’re not taught to think about how the enemy became the enemy, or even whether the enemy really is the enemy. That’s why we have civilian leadership over the military…nine times out of ten, cooler heads prevail over the military’s standard approach, i.e., kill, conquer territory, then kill some more.

    Unfortunately, this is the tenth time. We don’t have a cooler head in charge, we have a sociopath named George W. Bush.

    Jen — WOW! That’s a great synopsis of the Anthrax/Guiliani/AMI mystery. I had noted the people who got the tainted letters & realized the message.

    Do you remember the Senator (I think … ) who suddenly shut down his office — can’t remember — was it around Christmas of 2004? He sent all his staff home because of some kind of threat, yet I never heard more about it. Anybody remember this?

    Also the Dead Microbiologists — I’ve been following that one for a long time, too. Sickening (no pun intended.)
