Since October of last year, The Coalition for Voting Integrity has been producing a radio show, “Voice of the Voters” – available on WNJC1360 AM and the Internet – devoted to the exploration not only of the impact of electronic voting but also the nature of Democracy and our role in it as American citizens.

The list of guests has been nothing short of astounding. From a Pulitzer-Prize winning historian to national experts on the issues and science behind electronic voting, every week has brought a wealth of information to the public. Mary Ann Gould has interviewed internationally known computer scientists and electronic voting experts, Dr. Avi Rubin, Dr. Dan Lopresti and Dr. Rebecca Mercuri. She’s talked to polling expert Dr. Steven Freeman of UPENN. She got the latest news about pending electronic voting litigation, including some in Pennsylvania, from attorneys and voting experts John Bonifaz, Marian K. Schneider and Lowell Finley. She’s talked to Congressmen Rush Holt (NJ-12) and Ron Paul (TX-14).

I highly recommend this weekly one-hour radio program. It airs on WNJC and on the Internet every Wednesday from 8PM to 9PM EST. Go to Coalition for Voting Integrity for more information on each week’s program and to find the archives of previous programs.

In years past we have tracked the editor of the Oviedo Voice to “christian networks” of authors who pushed the neoCon line. It was paid for with tax dollars, it was undercover propaganda, and it was extensive.

Another blog is on the trail of a similar situation where the white house uses none white house sites for government email. Hide, coverup, deny, and get caught seems to be the pattern.

What is next … a direct line from Diebold to the White House?

I find it particularly disgusting that our incompetent government can lose TEN BILLION DOLLARS in Iraq, but can’t find the money to fund fair elections! Personally, I would attach the money needed to get rid of DRE’s and fund REAL paper ballotts with optical scans to reclaim our government and include money to set up a legal fund to get our money back from evoting companies to the emergency spending bill. I mean really, if they are going to attach money for peanut storage one would think fair elections might be a more important EMERGENCY!

No less than Senator Kennedy agrees with Bradblog that the neoCons passed secretive laws to allow Rove to architech the plan for the firing of US Attorneys and replacing them with political hacks well versed in the “voter fraud” canard:

Senator Edward M. Kennedy yesterday accused President Bush of using the Department of Justice to further his administration’s “right-wing ideology,” saying that veteran prosecutors were replaced by political operatives in key states to ensure that “reliable partisans” are in place in time for the 2008 presidential election.

      (Boston Com article).

Insatiable has to be the word for the neoCons who are not satisfied with a Supreme Court who voted to make Bush president in Bush v Gore, and which continues to validate anti-accountability gerrymandering to protect republican congress members, noeCon operatives in Secretary of State positions, and faith-based voting machines.

A lawyer’s view of election matters:

The moment for election reform inspired by the Supreme Court’s decision in Bush v. Gore has come and gone. While some thought that election reformers could make “lemons from lemonade” from Bush v. Gore’s equal protection holding, that possibility has not come to pass. Political actors have failed to respond well to the crisis in our election administration made obvious by the 2000 Florida voting fiasco.

Part I of this Essay, looking at “punch card” litigation in the Sixth and Ninth Circuits, explains that though some lower court judges still may look to the Bush v. Gore precedent as a means to force states to undertake election reform, that effort has been stymied thus far through the en banc process in the federal appellate courts.

      (Full Article, emphasis added).

A prosecutor’s view of attempting to influence a grand jury reminds us of the seriousness of the attempt to use political hack US Attorneys in critical states in order to influence the outcome of elections.

Please visit Friends of the American Revolution, a website devoted to the American Revolution, and covering such themes as tyranny, events, people, places, war, oil, JFK, 9/11, historic documents and writings.

Its purpose is to support the efforts of true patriots, as many non-Americans did during the Revolutionary War (hence its name), in their struggle against what I call the counter-revolution, a struggle in which the principal weapons are not muskets, cannon, sabers and flintlock pistols, but information.

      See you there!
