RED ALERT!!!!
Neocons playing HARDBALL now!!!!! Get out your ready armed and aiming insurrection!!!
"The letter from the Pentagon, dated January 3, 2006, basically asks that in the event of early deployment of military and National Guard troops that early ballots, including the ability to vote electronically, be provided. Bad enough that the Department of Defense appears to be trying to sneak in internet voting, but HB 2148 seeks provisions that go beyond the Pentagons request.
HB 2148 seems to exploit the Pentagon's request by placing provisions in it that exceed what was asked for by the Department of Defense. In it's current form, HB 2148 seeks provisions that might deliberately complicate early voting–which includes vote-by-mail (VBM)–by requiring the official in charge of elections to provide a specific marking device or a supply of stickers suitable for use with tabulating devices. Since when have we ever used peel off stickers that could be removed and reattached in an election? It also provides for the rejection of ballots that don’t meet the standard “of not being marked according to instructions” by giving over determination of intent of the voter to “The Board.” HB 2148 also seeks to make several various alterations in Arizona voting procedures that might negatively impact the interpretation and counting of provisional ballots, the decision to count ballots that are “stuck together”, and what constitutes acceptable forms of identification. The bill adds language that narrowly defines an expatriate voter, directs elections officials reconcile the number of provisional ballots with the number of ballots cast on only the poll list, and appears to repeal sections of the Arizona Statutes that are designed to catch attempts at ballot stuffing. None of which is asked for by the letter from the Pentagon!
And, who directed the Pentagon to ask for this power in the first place?
Our founding fathers realized that those in power would hold to it with white knuckled ferocity. That’s why they put in the checks and balances that have served this experiment in democracy for over 200 years so well—checks and balances that are now under seeming constant attack. If some Banana Republic postponed an election using such vague rationalizations as I have previously listed, our State Department would condemn the action as an assault on democracy. The people of Arizona, of all the states, should do no less now. Our Constitution does not provide such extreme powers to any government official; not the Secretary of State, the Governor, the legislature, or any other person. Let’s not start now.
HB 2148 has already passed out of the House Judiciary Committee by a vote of 6 to 2. It now goes to the House Rules Committee then to the House floor for a vote. You need to look at the ramifications of precedents that might be set if the military is given authority to vote over the internet and the unilateral consolidation of power to conduct elections given to one partisan person. This could be the camel getting its nose under the tent."
Pentagon wants to OVER-RIDE Arizona voting laws: To the BATTLE POSTS!!!
Now if you thought that was interesting, you ain't seen nothing yet!!!! Get everyone prepared and stationed!

The 58% don't matter, because Bush is not accountable to voters. He's accountable to the neo-cons, where he's got 100% approval. That is all that matters.
What Republican will the neo-cons install as president via electronic voting machines, and all the new methods like Doug is pointing out, while America sleeps?
I seriously think WE on the Brad Blog, should start discussing which Republican will be the next president in the stolen 2008 election. It would be fun, to see the opinions.
Anyone think Santorum's going to lose?
Santorum 51%-Casey 49%.
We shall see. It's getting very predictable, and nothings being done to stop it.
You know how Bush is on TV, saying, "I'm above the law, and whaddya think about that?" Pretty soon they won't even be hiding stealing elections. They practically aren't now. They'll be on TV saying, "So and So will be the president in 2008." Why not?

I was listening to Kent Conrad of North Dakota today on the Ed Schultz show. I generally don't listen to Ed because I find him to be too...whatever...for my taste. I don't find him willing enough to play hardball. It seems like he's an appeaser and an apologist. Anyway...
This peckerhead Conrad (Dem) says he is leaning toward voting FOR Alito because he seems to thikn that the majority of Americans (especially his constituents) approve of Alito. WHere the fuck does he get this? He says "Well, I haven't done any polling or really talked to people, but it's the sense that I get." Plus, he said he had a lengthy one-on-one conversation with Sammy and was convinced that Alito's notion of Unitary Executive did not mean that the president was above the law or superceded any authority of Congress.
I don't know guys. It doesn't look like these fuckos can muster a filibuster. Well, I'm for ousting anyone who doesn't come out in favor of the filibuster. Fucking anemic, these pricks are. They want it that way, too. Relieves them of any responsibility. Notice that most of the Senators who are moving to filibuster are those who have been around for a long time (Kennedy, Kerry, Leahy, etc) while those who are leaning against it (other than Byrd, but I'm convinced he passed the senile mark sometime in the last year or two) are younger. Seems like those who are older nad know the responsibility the Senate holds are concerned about the future of the Senate, but the others...not so much.

Its really great that 58% of Americans now think Bush is a failure. Too bad it took us so long to dispense with all that "liberal" vs "conservative" foolishness to come to this very intelligent conclusion! Yes this 58% includes alot of conservatives to be sure! The only problem is, its way too late, and Bush has been a failure his entire adult life! This was no military secret back in the late 1990's, when the media began it's propaganda campaign to repackage Bush as "presidential material". We certainly can't say we weren't all warned about Bush though. Concerned citizens came out of the woodwork trying to alert us of Bush's really unsavory record. The many damning revelations about Bush didn't faze our "conservative" mainstream countrymen however. The party and the media pronounced all negative revelations mere "conspiracy theories" even if they were true! Mainstream Americans are consistent if they're anything. However the media goes, so goes mainstream America! These folks are the soul of our nation, never allowing the truth, to get in the way of their support of party or media favored political candidates.
Everything that is happening to America today has been brought about in large part, by the perrenial stupidity of mainstream Americans of both political persuasions. No matter what the stakes, or the issues, they can always be counted on to help elect all those mainstream politicians, who once they get into office, immediately sell the country to the highest bidder! Alternative politicians, have little or no chance with these folks!
Now that so many of us agree that Bush is a failure in the whitehouse. We can give mainstream America its due for their contributions in putting him there, and keeping him there, by not doing a damn thing back when they had the chance to actually influence events! For decades Americans who sought to move our nation in a more positive direction have run into the inertia, utter stupidity, and political correctness, of the American mainstream. Their unstinting belief in government propaganda, and resistance to anything outside of the party line, is after all, a pretty good fit for dictatorship. It appears that after all these years of helping to keep the U.S. screwed up, mainstream Americans have finally gotten the type government they deserve!

""Intentionally, I and I want to underline this, intentionally they are not going after the middlemen and the people at the top. So to this day the American public have not heard who is the real culprit behind 9/11. There is money laundering, and certain narcotic and weapons procurements involved."
Ms Edmonds went on to reveal that the criminal elements are active within all three branches of Government. Plus there are those who are working outside government towards the same agenda. She suggests that we should look towards lobbying groups who are registering as agents of foreign governments, such as International Advisors Inc, the lobbying company set up by arch Neo-Con Richard Perle, which is registered with the State Department as "agents of Turkey."
These groups, with weighty influences upon the foreign policy of the US Government, some, including Perle, Pentagon architects of the Iraq war, are operating with elements of the Government in a nexus like fashion, moving around vast amounts of money and arms and profiteering from directing world events.
Edmonds suggested that this information would become more widespread should more people demand that the media cover these issues. There are simply too many people who are not concerned by such revelations or who simply take no notice.
"Our founders repeatedly stressed eternal vigilance because we can't say we have separation of powers, we have our Constitution and our Bill of Rights, they're going to take care of themselves and they are going to last, no, it does take eternal vigilance." Edmonds commented.""

Recently the people of Ukraine, were informed by concerned countrymen that their recent presidential elections were rigged. Ukrainians mobilized themselves in such vast numbers that the culprits were forced to defer to the will of the people. The rigged election results were undone.
In the last American presidential election, concerned citiizens informed Americans that their election was rigged. Americans chalked these reports up to "comspiracy theories" and the culprits were successful in thwarting the will of the electorate and altering the destiny of the state. Looking the other way when confronted with GOP election fraud, is the same as voting for Bush.

The great political savvy of our forefathers has been replaced by brain-dead political correctness. Mainstream America listens to their "party" leadership even when that leadership is corrupt. Its this attitude that allows the zombie-like American mainstream, to smother more intelligent political instincts in the minority of thinking Americans. The time to act is early not later. Well. It looks as if more states than Arizona got communications from the Pentagon about military and overseas voters' rights, and enfranchising non-resident citizens, wanting absentee ballots for these citizens, with "Emergency Authority For Chief Election Official" language in them, but it does not appear to apply to voting here at home, just overseas ballots.
It IS a little unclear, but........? If Arizona went ahead and gave their Secretary of State authority to postpone elections in emergencies, based on the wording I've seen, I'm not sure that's the Pentagon's, or any feds' fault. I guess Brad will let us know, when he gets a minute.

Why are the democrats to be blamed for the failures of the admin and the congress? The polls show that the people blame the republicans.
I am appalled at the ignorance of the reality of the matter.
Justice is the act of blaming those responsible and exonerating those not responsible. The republicans have the power in congress and in the white house, and have the weight of accountability.
To blame the democrats or independents for what the majority republican party does is wholesale hypocrisy and lunacy.
To blame individual senators, whether they be republican or democrate, for their individual behavior is another matter.
But to blame wholesale the democrats or independents who do not have the power is lame.
The republicans are responsible for nominating and voting for Alito. Not one republican has said anything against nor voted against Alito.
Stop blaming the wrong party and wake up.

Not to wave banners, give speeches or kick off protest chants... people need to be prepared to kick the doors in and physically remove the unelected tyrants in power.
America is getting to the point where increasinlgy it seems that people may have to be prepared to take a bullet in the fight for their freedom... which is very sad.
The neocons have pushed things too far, they've almost got the whole political system sewn up with their seemingly endless corruption. The only thing we do know that will make neocons disappear... is a bloody war that requires them to fight in it.

Bush is a puppet for the neo-cons. This is bigger than Bush. It's about the neo-cons controlling our elections via electronic voting machines, and getting non-neo-con Republicans bought into it by saying "gays" and "abortion", and then controlling the courts by getting Alito in there, having 5 radical right judges on the Supreme Court, a majority, who can give whatever president will be their puppet (Bush this time) powers above the other 2 branches of government, IE above the law, IE the neo-cons' agenda is above the law. Anyone else see this?
Whatever president the neo-cons install in 2008, you can be sure, regardless of party, he will be a puppet of the neo-cons. And they will use American tax money and American lives for their wars around the world, and get IDIOTS on their side by saying "gay" "abortion" "hurting the troops" "unAmerican" "unPatriotic".
It's a matter of time until Ricky, MediumWong, and Paul realize this, because they are not neo-cons. They are the idiots the neo-cons got on their side, because there's so few neo-cons. They would never get what they want, without duping idiots into being on their side. Abortion, gays, unPatriotic.......Hitler's playbook. That is not an anti-Jewish statement. They are following the fascist playbook, which Hitler used to get power above the law. It has nothing to do with the Jews, it has to do with the fascist plan to acquire power above the law, IE no more democracy.

On the bright side, I think of what Ghandi said. He said that no matter how powerful and indestructible a tyrant might be, history shows they always fall. I'm not talking about the puppet Bush, I'm talking about the neo-cons.

If I was to say at this point who's running our country (I know it's not George W. Bush), I'd say it's the former members of the PNAC. That's my best guess. They are definitely using the Republican Party to do it. Notice all the former PNAC members in Bush's cabinet: Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bolton, Feith, Perle, I can go on. One would be a coincidence. More than half? That is no coincidene. I think the PNAC is running America. And the PNAC are neo-cons. And by the way, America doesn't elect a cabinet, the president picks the cabinet.

Bush is incompetent, but it doesn't matter. He can barely speak his only language, but it doesn't matter. He can't be trusted to speak without a script, but it doesn't matter.
He was propped up by The Corporatist structure because they believed he could get enough votes to carry their agenda into the White House. He couldn't, so they took care of that, too.
Bush is not the problem, he's one of the symptoms - a projection. Another just like him will be nominated for 2008. Whether he's smarter, or stupider, will be immaterial. He will be OWNED, lock, stock, and barrel.
If one had wanted to shut Charlie McCarthy up, what would've been the point of attacking the dummy, and leaving Edgar Bergen standing in place?

Doug: I only have information that Brewer SAYS all the states were being asked by the Pentagon to make provisions for election postponement in case of emergency. Not, probably going to be so easy with the rest of the states... but I guess I'll be finding out in the next hour or so.

Right the neocons of Zion are doing exactly that and we got to stop them.......thats what the law is for, and right to bear arms and all of those things. Electronic Voting Machines are one part of it.
And only the not well learned would accuse Alito of being their pawn....Judge Alito hates the neocons more than almost anything. The Catholic church is installing him just to be able to clean them out, but of course hes going to be fillibustered first.

I'd like to see your source(s) for that information. His embrace of the "unitary executive" would seem to belie your theory. Elaborate?

to decribe the Bush administration 2nd term as a failure is to kind a description. Historians will show in years to come this to be the most corrupt administration this country has ever seen.
How many offshore Cayman Island accounts has Halliburton set up for V.P. Cheney any way???
When my book comes out in December the figure of 58% seeing this administration as a failure will surely increase to more than 70%.

Ask Agent99 if you want anything to elaborate on it. I showed him what really makes Alito tick already. He's not for the unitary executive whatsoever, that's simply the only way they portray in. In actuality, he is for checking constitutional power including executive; hence why he has studied executive law.

KBR awarded Homeland Security contract worth up to $385M (HAL) By Katherine Hunt
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) --- KBR, the engineering and construction subsidiary of Halliburton Co. (HAL) , said Tuesday it has been awarded a contingency contract from the Department of Homeland Security to supports its Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities in the event of an emergency. The maximum total value of the contract is $385 million and consists of a 1-year base period with four 1-year options. KBR held the previous ICE contract from 2000 through 2005. The contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to expand existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs, KBR said. The contract may also provide migrant detention support to other government organizations in the event of an immigration emergency, as well as the development of a plan to react to a national emergency, such as a natural disaster, the company said."

YankHadEnuf - Hey, no worries, "techiness" is plentiful on this blog
Okay, is it just me or is this just creepy?
From the article you sited (actually from a site with the same article where you DON'T have to be a member):
The contract, which is effective immediately, provides for establishing temporary detention and processing capabilities to augment existing ICE Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) Program facilities in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants into the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs. The contingency support contract provides for planning and, if required, initiation of specific engineering, construction and logistics support tasks to establish, operate and maintain one or more expansion facilities.....
The contract may also provide migrant detention support to other U.S. Government organizations in the event of an immigration emergency, as well as the development of a plan to react to a national emergency, such as a natural disaster...
Um....emergency influx of immigrants? Is this a real danger to our country now? Did I miss something???
National emergency..such as natural disaster...or the general population deciding they are not going to take anymore and taking to the streets?
(Anybody here familiar with Operation Cable Splice and Operation Garden Plot? Anybody in need of a reality check?)
Could it be that the lunatics are getting prepared to defend the asylum??
Ya know, I'm not going to feel really free in this country again until King George has been deposed...

Peg C wonders about your Alito logic, and I see the "Zion" word showing up again.
You did not answer Peg C coherently. And you have not answered the Zion question either. Remember, Brad, Jim March, and I have mentioned to you the fact that so many on that road are right wing racists with a hate agenda.
Anyone notice that major al Queda members are being released inexplicably (link here) while at the same time Americans are being spied on "in case any al Queda call them" and are being called "enemy combatants" and then that is also dropped?

First, this page is spread far too wide now and its hard to read.
Second, Alito is not what he appears. I promised I wouldn't elaborate on it but Agent99 knows exactly what I mean. If you wish to have further clarification, I'm certainly happy to discuss it over email so give me a ring.
Third, of course the Zionist Neocons are behind it and that is not a "hate speech" word...Although the right-wing haters and racists use it and quickly stereotype and ruin the real message I'll admit. Super-Zionist means someone, mostly the neocons who are for an all "exclusive imperial state" in the Middle East. Known as Greater Israel.
And that's all I got to discuss now, its late or early here.
